Both Serenade and Lucille are lovely! Wow! Lucille reminds me a lot of a BG paper collection from years ago, that was dark greens and tans, and looked like layered collage of sewing patterns and big floral patterns? I loved it, have almost all of the paper, and never used it. Every time I sort through my paper I see this old collection and enjoy it, and continue to keep it.
I can totally see doing the same thing with Lucille. I KNOW I don't USE paper like this, but it is SO PRETTY.

Pretty, but they don't look like BG to me. More MME than BG. |

Like you I have some collections with these themes unused in my stash. But I just fell in love with the little wire hanger banners! Where oh where are the Barbie wire hangers of my youth, I can SO see making little paper banners on them! Wonder if I could make some hangers out of wire I have on hand....
Thanks for the leap of creativity! |

You're right, Lucille looks quite reminiscent of Stella Ruby, which I also have. I have used at least a little of it though
These days I think Serenade is more my style. |

Adore them both and will be owning most of both lines. Um, early Christmas present?? LOL
I love how BG always comes up with new embellishments. These pre-sewn banners make my heart go pitter pat

Lucille reminds me of Daisy D's. It would be great for heritage pages. |

I saw Lucille on the BG website, love it! I used almost all of Stella Ruby, I might need this! Plus my mom's name was Lucille |

Those hangers are sold by one of 3 companies - Tim Holtz, 7 gypsies or Maya Road. Check it out. I know I have some but cannot remember who made them. I'm going to make my own banners.
