...I actually documented every birthday in my 40s with a picture...wearing the same thing! Had I known I planned on this, I might have picked a different "outfit", but I didn't decide to do this until the next year and then it just kind of snowballed from there. And, today I turned 49 so I guess that means this project is complete! But now I can do some kind of a layout spanning this decade. I'm glad I did it, but it was a bit of a PITA to have to do the picture each year.
I've documented it each year on my blog if you're interested. But that's not why I've popped in here today...it's really just to share my excitement with fellow scrapbookers who know how good it feels to accomplish something like this when you set out to do it. Although I wish I hadn't accomplished it so fast...my 40s have flown by!
Here are today's pictures...one was kind of sunny so I took one away from the sun...which one should I choose for my project?

I like the top photos (no sun). Great project. It was fun to see your hair change over the years. Honestly, your face hasn't changed much. Still look youthful. Happy Birthday |

I should do that for my 30s. I wasn't even supposed to make it to 30, so the picture next year will be REALLY special. I think a photo a year like that would be neat. |

Happy Birthday!!! I think the top picture is better only because the sun is not on you. I have been doing the same thing for every year in my 50's. It is so much fun to go back an look at the LO's. |

This is a beautiful idea and Happy Birthday! I usually do a "Year in Review" Page at the end of each year and I've always scrapped milestone birthdays but it would be cool to look at an entire decade. Thanks for sharing! |
