I normally donate/garage sale/give away.
But last night I used a sheet of letter stickers to make confetti with. I really liked the colours, but I just don't use phrases/words on my layouts like that.

You can put them on a stick pin and make a flag/pennant.
You can add them into your journaling. Think "mad libs" style.
You can use them as a pull for a journaling tag.

While I was editing my post to change the link to the actual sticker sheet I'm wondering about you guys replied--that was fast. Thanks!
I normally don't use them either but I really want to use some of these.
I love your flag idea--I'm gonna use it and I'm going to make file folder label or 2. Great!

I hardily second watching a couple of Shimelle videos here on 2Peas! She inspires using a lot of things that have sat unused in my stash. And most of her LOs can be easily changed to 8x8 or 8x11.

I'm not familiar with these particular stickers, but if they are quite small I would include them in embellishment clusters

I use words all the time in clusters and making flags. That video mentioned is good inspiration.

I use them as part of my journaling!

I use them in layers/clusters, journaling, as borders or titles.

Frames, borders, in the corner of a photo, as part of a title, in a cluster with other stickers, tags, etc. They are some of my favorite embellishments

I love word stickers. I use them as embellishments, I sometimes layer them over photos (although I do that with small word stickers, the ones you show are sort of big), in embellishment clusters, and as titles. I love word stickers because I think they are embellishments that add to the "story" of a layout more than flowers, butterflies and other stuff.

If they are small enough you can replace a few words of your journaling with them. I also do this with stamps.

you could try making little journal sign-posts like this with a food pick & baker's twine :
