"Soon it will be Christmas Day" Rod Stewart croons. I have to say I have really enjoyed his new Christmas CD. I try to add to my vast collection each year. His was a good pick.
I am off to meet a dear college friend's mom for breakfast. She is dear to me and she lost her husband in February so this is her first solo Xmas. Looking forward to catching up with her.
Later today it's Christmas card addressing time. And in between those two I have an appointment with my trainer at the gym. Which I am NOT documenting.
I have to say a good night's rest DOES do a body good. My holly jolly spirit has returned. Can't keep a good gal down.
Not sure what my POTD will be. Maybe my guys tonight going to see BATMAN LIVE.
Y'all have a super day with all your elf-ing and merry-making.
That's QUEEN Paper Peep to you!

Today I'm heading to the post office to mail Christmas cookie to the grandparents (DS's great-grands). I planned it so I can do this on Saturday - it's the only day I can leave DS at home with DH. And I did NOT want to brave holiday post office lines with a 2.5 year old!
So I need to round up some boxes and start packaging cookies this morning. Yesterday's picture was the cookies (4 different types - all new recipes), so today I'll probably do something with the boxes or the long lines at the USPS.
Have a great start to your weekend, everyone!

My pic is of my new zoom lens for my camera. Merry Christmas to me!
Funny you mention Rod's new CD, this morning DH and I were just talking about it and whether it was any good. I need to pic it up. Did you see him on tv last night?
Train is performing in STL tonight. I heard about it too late to get tickets and I'm so bummed out. I love them and it would have been awesome to see them live.
We are saving next weekend to see the Christmas lights. We have a tradition of taking the dogs with us and letting them see. They have fun

We took the boys to Breakfast with Santa this morning, a fundraiser for the school district. I got some great shots so, I'll just need to decide which to use. This little album is already thick!

My photo will be of our condemned gingerbread house that fell apart. It will be forever vacant as no gingerbread man would want to live in it
