Hi Peas! I hope you are enjoying our free classes so far this year!
I wanted to begin a thread for our 213 in 2013 series specifically. By the end of this year we will have presented 213 creative prompts; in this thread I will list them as we add to the library of challenges each week! We hope you will bookmark this thread and use it as a resource when you're in need of a creative jumpstart. To bookmark a thread, just click on the arrow next to 'Reply' in the top right-hand corner of this thread. Click the bookmark option. To access your bookmarks, hover over your username in the top right-hand corner of the site, click on bookmarks and then find the Message Board section in your bookmarks.
Week 1 with Shannon Tidwell
1. Add subtle texture to the background.
2. Get Crafty!
3. Play with a Pocket
4. Layering Labels
Week 2 with Corrie Jones
5. Start with a blank slate
6. Get Messy with mists
7. Forget your paper trimmer
8. Use some washi tape
Week 3 with Anna-Maria Wolniak
9. Use a mask and mist on the page.
10. Try to recycle the frames from your stickers.
11. Stamping with one motif.
Week 4 with Lilith Eeckels
12. Use Lilith's sketch (she's provided a couple options!)
13. Use vellum
14. Take out your border punches
15. Use a page protector
Week 5 with Shannon Tidwell
16. Use the Background Pattern as a Guide
17. Go Primary
18. Create a Photo Grid
19. All Boy!!
20. Pop Dot Crazy
Week 6 with Corrie Jones
21. Choose a bright, happy color scheme.
22. Create a title using vellum.
23. Incorporate stitching, either hand stitching or machine stitching.
24. Use enamel or candy dots.
Week 7 with Celine Navarro
25. Soften any background with Gesso
26. Mix mists & water for a softer watercolor look
27. Use a pocket to hold hidden photos.
28. Add glitter to make your title pop!
Week 8 with Lilith Eeckels
29. Print on vellum or cardstock
30. Paint lines with mists or watercolours
31. Layer papers from the same collection
32. Hand stitch two patterns together
Week 9 with Shannon Tidwell
33. Cut a design from patterned paper.
34. Go Metallic!
35. Tie it with a bow.
36. Heat it up with embossing powder!
Week 10 with Corrie Jones
37. Use kraft.
38. Make a rainbow.
39. Create your own stamped design with embossing.
40. Put away your patterned paper.
Week 11 with Celine Navarro
41. Emboss Papers with your die-cutting machine
42. Use die-cuts as an embellishment on your background
43. Add color to your embossed papers
44. Outline your die-cuts with a black pencil.
Week 12 with Lilith Eeckels
45. Use pink on a boy layout.
46. Get your ribbons out.
47. Rub it on with rub ons.
48. Doodle
Week 13 with Shannon Tidwell
49. Cut a Die Cut or Two
50. Bokeh your Layout
51. Make a Big Photo Corner
52. Tinsel the Edges
Week 14 with Corrie Jones
53. Allow yourself to be inspired.
54. Use a seasonal product in a non-seasonal way.
55. Handcut a shape to enhance your theme.
56. Use pre-made glitter embellishments.
Week 15 with Celine Navarro
57. Repeat one photo as the background of a double-page layout.
58. Print your photo on white cardstock.
59. Mist on your photos!
60. Doodle on your photos!
61 Make a list of things you like on your photo.
Week 16 with Lilith Eeckels
62. Use a grid design.
63. Make the most of journaling cards.
64. Double the fun (use two photos).
65. Stars and stars.

66. Scrap a Holiday
67. Use a Yellow Background
68. Use at least FOUR Photos
69. Fill the White Space on a Photo with Embellishments!
Week 18 with Corrie Jones
70. Use a 6x6 paper pad.
71. Scraplift yourself.
72. Mix & match different tags.
73. Add dimension without adding bulk.

74. Use Tissue Paper for your background
75. Play with Printables
76. Alter Chipboards with Gesso
77. Neutral Vs Color on your layout
