I've been so envious of iPhone users' weather screenshots in their PL layouts. Now I can include them in mine. I just learned how to take them with my iPad mini. Thanks YouTube. |

How are you printing these? I tried to upload some to Walgreen photo website, but they wouldn't upload because they are a different type file.
Thanks! | |

I'm just doing this for the first time this week in my PL. we had some warm days for January and I thought of it.
what I did, 2msanders, was email it to myself. it came as a png so I was going to make a canvas in Photoshop elements at 4x6, add the screenshot, then save it as a jpeg and order the photo. hope this helps |

I like adding the weather screen shots too, especially when we have unusual weather or temps. I am also taking screenshots occasionally of the days gas prices using the Gas Buddy app. |

Thanks, Laura. I don't have Photoshop, so I won't be able to do that. I just need to do some research and see if there is a way for me to do it.
I bought some ink and photo paper to see if they would print on my Epson.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 and if you use hand motion (use settings to turn on) I just swipe my hand across phone and it takes a screen shot. Hope this helps, it really is cool.

Now I am intrigued about how to take this screenshot using an iPhone. Can anyone tell me what setting to set? I have a 3GS, is it possible to take screenshots from an older iPhone like mine? |

Not sure if it will work on the older iPhones, but all you do is push the home button and sleep/ wake button at the same time. |

I use Apple's iCloud to get my pictures from my ipad mini to my computer. Everyone with an an iPhone, Mac, ipad, iTouch has 5 GB of free storage. You can even use a PC. The link below explains how iCloud works.
http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/photo-stream.html
At the end of the page there are directions explaining how to set it up.
2msanders, I hope this will help you. By the way my daughter and brother and his wife live in Lexington, SC. Do you live near there?

Ah, iCloud. I think it is time to set that up! It will mean upgrading to Mountain Lion for me, bu I love the idea of taking a photo on my iPhone and having it show up on my Mac! Sometimes technology is so amazing! |

It is really handy to have your photos from your iphone go directly to my iPad and mac. Love having them handy when I am ready for them. |

What a great idea. I have a Galaxy 3G (or something) and knew about swiping you hand to get a screen shot - but could not figure out why I would want to do that.
Now I know. Just emailed myself the picture.
this will be so cool - but now I will have to do this everyday just incase I need it in a layout. LOL
Darn - too bad I did not know about it for the warm days we just had - but we could get some -30 days yet.
It even has the date right on the shot - don't have to try and remember or anything.... LOL LOL
Thanks for sharing....

I try to remember to take one every Sunday night. But I've been taking daily ones with the bitter cold mornings we have been having. |

I'm just getting back into digital scrapbooking, so reading "all" the forums tonight. I've been wondering how people do the screenshots. I have a Galaxy SII and the instructions (home button & sleep) worked the same on my phone. Oh how fun this will be for weather screenshots. I also used it for a recipe that was texted to me!
