Help! In an attempt to be more frugal I have decided to cancel my subscription to one of these great kit clubs! I have went over and over in my head and weighed all the pros and cons and still can't decide. Which would you keep and which would you get rid of? Thanks in advance!

Studio Calico. Love their kits, and they have excellent customer service quite similar to 2 peas.

Did you get the Cocoa Daisy kit this month? It is AMAZING! You get tons of usable product and a stamp each month.

I get both CD and SC but I will be dropping SC after my 6 month run.

If anyone signs up for Cocoa Daisy, tell them referred you.

I adored Cocoa Daisy.

When it changed hands, I was a bit concerned. But, the new owner has done a fabulous job. Customer Service remained at the level I came to expect from the original owner.

Anyway, I only stopped my subscription out of necessity and really miss it. Hopefully, it will be something that I can resubscribe to sometime soon.

As for the other, there have been too many negative stories that I wouldn't even entertain the thought of subscribing to them.

I would totally keep Cocoa Daisy! I've been subbing with them for almost 6 months and the kits are such a fabulous mix of colors and products, plus Christine (the owner) is SO attentive and has super customer service!!! I'm not a fan of SC kits because their colors are always so muted, each and every month. January's Pemberly kit and the add-ons were nothing short of fabulous and such a beautiful mix of bright, muted, warm and textured colors...just lovely!

I think you should go back through CD's past kits to see just how great they are. PLUS, the monthly kit stamps are aWeSoMe, not to mention the stamp subscription them!

I used to subscribe to both and was truly quite pleased with both clubs. However, I had to choose because I was getting a backlog of product. I recently dropped CD. Although beautiful, I found it a bit more theme-y. Not too much so, but enough that I was sometimes having difficult using the product. I am glad i canceled before the January kit. It is gorgeous, but had a very feminine feel. I think SC offers more of a "blank slate," where I can use the kit with almost any photos.

I don't think you would be disappointed with the service or quality of either company. Choose which would best fit your tastes, because both kits do cater to different tastes IMO.

A positive attitude may not solve all of your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. ~Herm Albright

I was subbing to both (SC for 10mos, CD for 3mos) at the same time & ended up canceling SC. They are both great kits, but the SC kits were starting to look too similiar to me & I liked CD's colors & stamps better. Good luck deciding!

I have been with CD for almost 2 years. In the beginning I ordered one kit from CD and SC to compare before I signed up for a subscription. IMHO I think the Cocoa Daisy kits offer more content than Sudio Calico. The customer service with CD is top notch. I had one small issue early on and it was resolved quickly and professionally. Good luck with your decision.

Do you use the design gallery for inspiration? If so, which ones is more your style (or can relate to your style)?

Do you like brighter colors or more muted ones? CD tends to use brighter colors which SC is consistently very muted with pastels and lots of orange.

I get both, but if I had to drop one I would drop SC just because of the stamps. I used to love the SC stamps, but they are awful now and I am really enjoying the CD stamps. They seem more like the SC ones used to!
