I have seen many people post about the new enamel dots being too expensive to buy because they increased the price by a dollar. I was looking at the new dots I just got and noticed that there are more dots in the new collections. There are 60 dots vs 40 in the old packs . So I decided to break it down to see how much each dot cost and to my surprise the new ones are cheaper per dot... Here is the beakdown....The packs with 40 dots were $3.99 so each dot cost .099. The new packs with 60 dots turn out to be LESS at .083 per dot. So we are getting more for our money with the NEW DOT PACKS!!!!! |

Oooh..I thought the new packs just had 50 (10 of each color). But I looked again in the store, and you're right! Yay, justification! |

I too just assumed they added 10 dots for a $1 increase. There's something about that $4.99/$5 range though - a purchase in that price range requires more thought than a 3.99 purchase. It's only a buck, but it's the psychology of it all I guess
