Hey everyone,
I've created a new facebook page to be a source of information for fellow ?Lego Moms just like me. What is a Lego Mom you ask? It's a mom who wants to stay in the know for her kids. Its a mom who knows what Chima and Ninjago are. Its a mom who has stepped on a Lego brick in the dark, sworn to her kids she was going to vacuum up all the Legos if they didn't get picked up, and yet when the kids are asleep, she is the one having fun building too. A Lego mom wants to stay on the up and up with all things brick. And so, I've created this site. I'll let you know when Cartoon Network is playing Chima again, or when your local store is having an event. I'll share with you when Amazon has a sweet deal, or Toys R Us is have an in-store purchase offer.
Pretty much, I'm finding out all this good stuff for my kids, so why not share the info. I also want a place to go where I can tell you how much pain my foot is still in from stepping on that darn brick last night, and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
So, the site is www.facebook.com/MomsOfLego or just search facebook for Moms of Lego. Can't wait to see you there. I'm hoping this will be such a fun community!

That's a great idea. I'll join. Though my DS tends to keep me pretty up to date on Lego info

I have a little Lego girl, and I'll also admit that I love building with those things, probably more than she does, LOL.
I didn't have Legos when I was a kid, so I'm really enjoying building with them now, with her.
I liked your page too, thanks for posting that info for us

Not a Lego mom but a Lego grandma I have five grandsons. Two live here in ND and three in CT. My son-in-law in CT works for Lego and all five boys are huge fans. When I visit, I haul home tons of the stuff! I have a closet stocked with a variety of sets to entertain kids who visit me, I gave Lego to the trick or treaters who came to my door this year and I always have last minute birthday gifts
And seeing as how I have an in at the company store, I have some rather unique pieces of Lego around my house. |

I'm a Lego mom of a girl, she's not into Ninjago or Star Wars, but LOVES the new Friends sets and is always constructing some sort of tower or house. Girls play with LEGO differently from boys, but love those pieces of plastic just as much!

Snowmoma your link isn't working but I looked up brickdreams, what a wonderful thing. I'm sure I have some excess brick to donate.
The LEGO group also has a foundation. |

I love this! I knew I couldn't be the only mom that visits the Lego aisle even when I'm at Target WITHOUT my two boys!

yea! I don't have a facebook page but my DH does so I'll peek in on his.
We are kindred spirits! My DS and I are Ninjago nuts. We just went to the Chima event at TRU and saw the new Legos.
I feel bad sometimes cause I enable him but I have to be honest. I was told he had ADHD with no testing ....just a comment from a Dr. The Legos have helped tremendously with the concentration and creativity. I'm so thankful.
I just gave my DS the Golden Dragon/Lloyd set for some work he did exceptionally well.
He was over the moon.
I really want the Hobbit hole home! The video is on Lego.com They made a huge one. I think it will be traveling around.

Thanks, Peaname - that is so nice of you! My son would love any Lego donation for his charity. I'll have to show him your link to the Lego foundation.
I'm going to try to post my son's BrickDreams charity link again:
Brickdreams
Hope it works this time!
