Actually, No Jen, LOL and that's what I'm lifting! I made my own lace and now that I'm ready to back it with paper I'm like, let's find another project. haha
That part will definitely be tricky. I love those papers though, I have them on my wishlist |

I have scrapped 2 layouts today and then had to go to girls school for Science Fair Awards. Oldest DD won 3rd place and is going to Nationals and middle DD got Honorable Mention, one proud mom here! But now I am home and about to get back to scrapping. |

That layout is too cute. I think you could use fit to page on the Cricut and cut out a ton of hearts...hmm, might have to try that.You'll have to show us your layout when you get done...
I made my cover for an Art journal group I am doing this morning, Came down for a cup of coffee & am going to head back up shortly.
I also have all day tomorrow as DH has to ride up north w/ his brother for a meeting. I am going to run to M's after I drop off my salad for a funeral dinner tomorrow then I'll be back to scrapping. |

I am! I work an hour shift at my school's Valentine Dance tonight.I will get to see my precious sixth graders all dressed up-well, mostly the girls. Then, I plan on working for a few hours in my scrap room. Have a great weekend everybody! | |

Yes,I'm getting a ton of little hearts from that! I think I'm going to make some valentine cards with them. I'll show you that and the LO if I finish today - okay, right there is motivation to get going on a LO!

I hung some pictures and am just putting together my 6th layout using my SG sketches.
I used two months worth of the super saver sketches and my own paper and I have 6 layouts to fill! |

I did a one page layout based on a sketch from Shimelle's blog. It was my first attempt at making clusters. It's not great, but I think it was a good first attempt, and it's done! |

So, I'm checking in for just a minute - I won't get to scrap really until after dinner and DH can take care of the kiddos. So I have a plan for my LO. See my 2nd post if you have no idea what I'm talking about, haha.
So, I decided to take the heart lace that I made in my Sil Studio and take out the lace part and just leave the hearts. Now I enlarged the hearts a bit and am cutting those on different types of pp. That's my new strategy! I was really overwhelmed thinking of how to trim little bits so they wouldn't show - I think this will work better.
Erin, that's too funny! Your poor DH!

Yay! DS took a nap! I cleaned the bathroom, then got into my scraproom.
I'm starting a PL-style baby book for DS, and I organized his first 6 months of pictures by month. Then I separated pregnancy, birth, and first 2 months of pictures into divided page protectors (I'm using a variety). It takes longer than just using design A (like I do for PL), but it's fun having all the options.
Tonight after DS goes to bed, I'm planning to go through and start adding in title and journal cards. Excited to get going on this project! |

I got a LO done for LOAD. I am thinking about making some valentines. DH will be away on travel so want to put something in his suitcase before he leaves. DD also has a birthday the day before Valentines and will also be away at school. Need to make some cards. |

I have finished a total of 8 layouts so far today and I just got done pulling out a bunch of solid card for background papers.
I pulled out my Miss Caroline Howdy Doody collection and my new sketches and I am ready to get back to scrapping after a break for dinner! |

It was supposed to be a meetup.com group that I have scrapped with almost every first Friday of the month (since the summertime) I RSVP'd about 4-5 days ago. It's not too far from my house and I didn't bring a ton of stuff, but it's 27 degrees outside. This particular Starbucks still has their air on for some reason. After a half hour of waiting,I texted the organizer and she finally texted back, "I didn't think you were coming." Ummm, I RSVP'd yes and had been looking forward to it all week. Oh, well. You live and learn. |

Hey Loni! Family is doing fine and I am filling in at the practice again!! But, we are doing a reorg so all is good or will be soon! How are you and yours?
I had fun at my crop but only got one two pager done ( and not really done as I am doing laundry and tweaking it!) it's no wonder I am just finishing up 2009!!!
I don't really scrap chronologically. I try to work on both current and older but I only have a handful of 2009 to finish up so I am focusing on those. I don't put my Los in albums until the year is done do being so close is exciting!!! |
