Does anyone else ever feel like if they just stopped watching all the videos, looking at all the blogs and stopped shopping they sure would get a lot more scrapping done?? Don't get me wrong, I love the videos and other stuff! But's it's so easy to get lost in it all!

This is work-day scrap release for me. I don't have to get my mojo up, and I can be more accessible for making supper, running kids to activities,m doing homework... If I get holed up in my scrap space, I hate being disturbed! Plus, I time gets away from me. So yeah, I'm online for at least an hour/night, pea-ing, pinteresting, reading blogs... |

I find myself spending lots of time online...looking at blogs, Pinterest and such. Once I get a chance to spread my things out, I don't even get near the computer. And I am former digital scrapper |

When I clicked on "Message Boards" on my Bookmarks Bar in Chrome, about 2 minutes ago I thought to myself 'I could just get up and go scrap instead...NAH! I'm gonna see what's goin' on!'
Seriously, I think this pretty much every day! |

I am extremely ADHD, and I have even switched from a desktop in my craft room to a laptop in my kitchen. This has really helped me, because when I am in my craft room I am no longer getting distracted. Of course, when I am in my kitchen.... |

I am usually here on my phone or iPad with a kid in my arms Sometimes he is just not quite asleep and sometimes he is busy on his activity mat for two minutes. I can't be scrapping during any of those times so for now the Internet is helping to scratch my creative itch.

I'm definitely online here more than I scrap some days!
Sometimes I have to place myself on a social media 'time-out' just to get things done.

I think of it as part of the hobby...I enjoy the creating, the shopping and the "perusing" of blogs, message boards, Pinterest etc almost equally. |

I am online often. During the day at work I can keep an eye out on the message board, and in the evenings after work I am really too tired to do layouts so I again am on the computer winding down from my very stressful job (guilty pleasure Farmville, helps take a lot of the stress away) then I also watch videos, look at galleries, check out blogs, and may work on small little things I would like to learn or incorporate into layouts. When I am having my scrapping weekends I rarely look at the computer unless it is to find clip art, find and follow a specific technique I need to use, or use my Pazzles software to cut for a page.
It seems to be a good balance for me. (oops, better get to work - LOL)

Good point in salt-of-the-earth's post. It's also part of the hobby for me. I love to read what's going on with products & the latest trends & ideas for layouts on the boards & I love to watch a new video with my coffee.
I have a short attention span, so one video a day is all I can take anyway. |

I'm typically on the boards/watching videos when I'm not able to scrap anyways (away from home & my supplies, don't have enough time to work on a layout). I wish I had more time to devote to sitting down and doing actual scrapbooking but when I don't it's nice to fill that void by bulking up on inspiration. |

Yes, I feel that way. I was thinking about that last night actually. Hmmm. Maybe I'll implement it and see what happens. |

Absolutely! Although, I think some of the time spent doing that stuff pays off because it gives me lots of ideas and inspiration.

Like some of the other posters have mentioned, I'm pea-ing when I'm not really able to be scrapping. Like right now - DS is occupied with painting, and occasionally telling me which colors he's using. I can jump on here for a couple of minutes, but no way could I sneak off upstairs to scrap!
It gives me a scrappy fix, and sometimes it also gets some ideas flowing my head (sometimes it's just pure entertainment!). |

Yes, I would. I have known that for a long time. But scrappping for me often means buying new supplies, whereas online I resist the hype. |

I usually spend most of my online time when I'm not at home. It's rare for me to browse forums when I'm at home, I'll go through bookmarks or play a video while I'm scrapping for inspiration so I do a bit of both, but generally I will always scrap when I'm at home and go online during lunch break at work or when I'm out and literally cannot do any scrapping
This is why I post more actively, pin tons and see the most videos during the week and never really at weekends!
