What type of products do you struggle to work with? Have you seen a pattern of buying these products and never using them??
For me I love to buy flowers, but I never use them. I finally caught on that they are just accumulating, so I decorated a 4ft x 4ft chalkboard with them and vowed to never buy them again. But they are so pretty.
Do you have a supply problem like this? Do you know why you do not tend to use it?

Not in design (btw I use flowers often on my layouts), but I have a ton of dew drops (purchased from ebay) and I can not get them to stay on the layout.

I used to really struggle with eylets (okay they are not really "up to date", but I really like them) - now I dress up my tags with them - great to add a bit of color, texture and different material
I still struggle with using non-text stamps on LO.

I love and adore decorative brads, but rarely use them on layouts. I finally started cutting the prongs off so I could glue them rather than have to push them through the paper, and that helped me start using them a little more. I also started using them on cards instead of hoarding them.

Just a thought, if you love hoarding those items maybe put them to use by toning down the color with a Mist Spray in a white/netural tone??

I have lots of things I don't use much. I realized recently that I use mostly paper on my layouts.
Borders.
Buttons.
Flowers.
Die cuts.
Love all of the above, love having them, love buying them, love seeing them in my stuff, but rarely ever find they work well on a page for me.

Stamps. I see so many projects where stamps are used well and I just can't seem to make them work to my advantage.
Anything big & bulky like flowers etc. or pop dots. I like my pages to lay flat in the albums and adding lots of upward dimension throws me off. I just bought my first pack of pop dots so I can try it out. |

I make lots of cards. I have a TON of flowers, brads, and bling. I love to collect these things but I don't really like using them on my cards. I don't like bulky cards and they are a PITA to mail. |

Flowers! I don't have a ton but when I started making cards again I bought a few packs. I think I have used 4 or 5? I think I grabbed bad colors for one thing but I also just rarely like the way they look. At some point I will probably give them away. Oops!
I also love bling and glitter on cards but not on layouts. I have used a few teeny rhinestones in PL but that is it.

I don't particularly love using flowers or buttons on layouts & never did. I finally got all the flowers & most of the buttons (except for a jar of vintage ones) out of my scrapbook room when I set up my new studio.
Raw chipboard shapes are a big thing that I have tons of & never am really happy with them on a page. I actually would like to see the raw style, used in a new way & I am hoping they make a huge comeback in the scrapbooking world, like when the raw ones were all the rage 7 or 8 years ago.
I'm not referring to the current printed chipboard that is in many collections right now. |

It would be flowers for me too. Back in the day, I participated in several Prima flower swaps so I could have all the colors. Problem is, I have boys and rarely use them except for Easter LOs.

I have yet to make a decent layout using Basic Grey or other heavily distressed paper.
I also have some pretty fancy border punches but keep going back to the same two over and over again.

Right now I have a ton of flowers and lace sitting around not getting used. I used them during my "bulky 3D vintage" phase of scrapping. It was fun, but I have moved on to experiment with different styles & I don't know what to do with them now. I have quite a few supplies like that since my style seems to be always changing. |

Flowers. I just don't use them a lot. I did try one of those pages that it looks like Prima threw up all over (you know the kind I'm referring to) and while its pretty, its just not my thing. I recently bundled up most of my flowers to sell at a garage sale, and just kept a handful in colors I *might* use.
A few months ago, my list would have been much, much longer. But I decided I need to start using my things that I was inspired to purchase, and have had so much fun playing with mists, inks, punches, tags, and die cuts! I feel so much better about my stuff now, like its earning its keep!

I have trouble using flowers on my LOs too. That applies to the super dimensional Prima ones as well as flatter flowers.
I also have never had good results with ribbon. I even struggle with baker's twine, although that is a little easier.
I have two mists (black and brown) and feel like I never know how to use them on a page either. I've made maybe 3 pages with my mists?

I love stamps!
Try stamping onto a rectangle to make a journaling card, or stamp an image and punch it out with a heart/star/circle, or stamp a word on a label sticker or strip of paper. Rather than stamping on the background, make an embellishment.

Acrylic stamps and misting are products I struggle with. It's more that I am typically too lazy to use those items and I stick with easier embellishments. Of course, I love to still collect |

I have a huge assortment of (very pretty) buttons that I just can't place on a layout.
Also those resin flowers that are extremely attractive and entirely too bulky for what I like to use.
And Grungeboard- I bought it cause all my friends did, but I never really figured out what made it so special. |

Vellum. I know it's hot right now, and I bought some vellum embellishments, but I just can't figure out how to use them, how to adhere them, where to place them. Ugh. I wish I wasn't such a trend follower and had just skipped vellum. It was problematic the first time around!

flowers - the fat chunky ones from Prima. They're gorgeous, but way too lumpy for any page or even card. I have lots of packages just sitting in my drawer, not sure what to do with them, but I can't part with them since they're soooo pretty. |

It's not that I don't use mine, but I certainly don't use it enough to justify the number I've accumulated. I'll take some out every time I do a page, but it rarely makes it on there! Either it's hard to use, or I don't have the "right" colors/designs. (Maybe I need more. ) |

Washi tape... I know it's the rage and I have a bunch of it but it's not working for me. I finally tried to use some last night but I'm not sure that I'm loving it on the page.
Another thing I struggle with - and it's not a product at all - is white space. I so love layouts that have white space but I create very few like that. And, again, the layout I was working last night with the washi is also a layout with a lot of "white space", or "clean and simple". DD even made a comment that she wants to see this page when I'm done because she can't believe that I'm doing a layout with hardly any "stuff" on it... she hasn't seen it yet - it will be interesting to hear what she thinks! |

I want to use mists, but when I try, they always look too messy. Mists + perfectionism are not a good match.
Buttons. They just seem so out of place on a layout, unless it's about sewing! If I do use one or two, I have to thread them (perfectionism again) and that's a pain.
I love flowers and have 2 sterlite boxes full, but I virtually never use them.
Ribbon. Another 2 boxes full. Recetly I bought a few rolls of Washi tape, and I'm thinking maybe I can use it in place of ribbon? Though NOT with torn edges.
I own enough stamps to open my own shop, but I never use them, except on an occasional card. Once I took a journal-making class and ended up using a few on intro pages. But it's hard to create perfect images with stamps.
I'm sensing a theme here.......
