i have been think alot about my goals this year.. and it seems that happen to alot of us currently.. this quote seem to answer that for me and maybe for you.. what goals you are finding are to reach and what steps need to be taken to reach that?

Besty--I am gathering all information i have on household binder and will post it next week as a main topic.. it is one of my goals that i want to create one for myself..

if anyoen have topic in mind that they want to discuss or explore further, let me know.

good afternoon, pretty quiet here.. lol hope everyone is have a wonderful week..

I did my weight in this morning.. i didn't on first bc I felt really bloated and took me a bit to figure out why.. when we were at family for easter dinner, she use the instant mashed pot steam pouch instead of using real pot.. so the sodium from that really did a number on me.. so i had to drink ton fo water..drumroll i lost three lbs.. can't believe it but so happy.. because I had my candy and thought i gained a bit.. but apparently it was ok. lol

I also finish the baby album and now working on big sis brag book.. I'm trying to decide on storage for my embellishment--trying to figure out if i want to go with plastic three drawers or get the cube from micheals so it look pretty.. lol ugh i just can't decide.. i know plastic one is cheaper but then i do like the cube bc it so pretty but hide things.. mmm decisions decisions..

how is everyone doing? let me know if there is any topics you want to discuss or focus on...

I'm off to do some errands for today.. hope you guys have a great day.. it's beautiful out today so i'm planning to let kids play outside for bit..

Hi Michele! I haven't done anymore scrapping but I am going to a crop tomorrow night. I hurt my wrist putting my scrap tote in the car today (scrap club with the kiddos after school) so I hope I'll be okay. I also have a crop on the 20th. I'm still drinking a good amount of water and trying to move more. I did join a yoga group and a Zumba group on meetup and hope to go to one of those classes next weekend.

It has been a quiet and fairly non-productive week. The spring allergies are hitting and I haven't been feeling as well. I did do something I've been wanting to do for years, though. This afternoon I went out and sat by my flowerbed for awhile with my sketchbook and drew the daffodil, tulips, hyacinths and grape hyacinths. It was so pleasant to be outdoors for awhile in the fresh air.

I like the quote you chose, Michele. I need to think about what I need to change up and do different. And I will be looking forward to your post about the household binder setup.

Staci, so sorry to hear that you hurt your wrist. Hope it isn't serious and heals quickly! Hugs!

Just signed up for Photoshop for Digital Scrappers, course 1 at Jessica Sprague. I've had no luck trying to figure out Photoshop. I've read nothing but good things about her classes, so hopefully this is a good step in the right direction.

Hello everyone! Hi Betsy and Michele. I had to pop in and say hello. I haven't been around in a long while.
Hello to Staci, Chriss, and Susan.

I think I'll start checking in again each week. I need to improve my cholesterol and lose some weight. I plan to use My Fitness Pal on the iPad. I also just want to get outside more to walk and play with the kids. Lately, my 4yo daughter likes hopscotch. It's not as easy to hop as it was when I was a kid!

I plan to start a scrapbook tomorrow for my new nephew who is due to enter the world at the end of May. I almost always digi scrap now, but I'll be pulling out the paper for his scrapbook.

Betsy... You'll love using Photoshop once you get the hang of it.

Jan and jdstumble, hello!

My wrist is still a little tender but I think it's just a strain. I didn't do much scrapping last night. I basically moved pics around on paper. I have to start making sketches again.

I am so glad that it's getting warmer. I can't wait to go back to running/walking the track. Have a great week, ladies!

I hear you on the warmer thing. We are finally getting days above freezing, so I'm taking advantage of it and I've started running again. (I stopped over the winter as I didn't have any cold-weather running kit, and the money I had earmarked for it got spent on more winter attire for the kids. Uggh.)

Anyway, I'm planning to sign up for a 5km that is scheduled for the beginning of June. Need to sign up by the end of the month.

So that's my current goal.

Hi, everyone

what a morning! apparently today is a national no housework day.. umm little late as I did my cleaning this morning before getting on fb.. lol I was little frustate this morning as i can't find my flashdrive yet--i want to work on backing up my photos since it has been while, then i couldn't find a binder that hold all my picture cds from 2000 to 2008. I remember my mom giving them to me but i'm not sure if i brought home with me lol.. my sister in law was asking for pictures of her little girl.. she was missing them on her computer.. told her i would look on my cds.. then i am working on tomorrow post and was doing search on our group's older posts and it isn't coming up at all that Janet (cherrypicker) posted.. well, I am not sure if it's two peas itself or ... it's ok--i have a plan.. lol will be buying new flashdrive, i know that little book is still around somewhere and will turn up when least expecting it.. third--thanks goodness for pinterest and google search.. lol

well, I need to do some things today.. and I was goign to take kids outside but it's too windy for my littlest one--he has a very senstive skin. so going to find some kind of crafty project for two older ones to do and just play with them.. chat with you guys later.

Hi Ladies, thanks for welcoming me! My name is Janet (the jdstumble is because I am a klutz.....!) I've recently started a program with a group and a nutritional coach and am down 8 pounds. Eating much healthier, not too bored yet. I've never stuck to a "diet" for more than 3 weeks and I am in week 5 here, so it's really good!

Haven't scrapped much lately, need to start again. Do any of you scrap about your weigh loss/health journeys?

Janet

Welcome, Chriss and Janet!

Staci, glad your wrist is feeling a bit better!

Michele, the drawing didn't turn out well enough to post. I would love to take photos, but my camera died and I'm still saving for a new one.

Just tried this amazing recipe for Parmesan Sesame Chicken Strips with Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce last night and it is wonderful! I like that it is baked instead of deep fried so fewer calories. Will definitely be making this one again! Parmesan Sesame Chicken Strips
