Here is one from me. I'm trying to get back to scrapping. I've been distracted! I've also started working on my digital December Daily pages. I'm up to the 12th. I will be able to just drop in photos, journal, and make any necessary adjustments if needed.

November is the only month we don't have any family birthdays!!--but we do celebrate our dogs birthday the day after Thanksgiving. (we got her from the pound about that time several years ago!) She'll be 14 this year!! She was supposedly 5 when we got her.

Hope everybody is doing well!!

I'm still busy with my teams. It is funny how much I still enjoy them though!! Scrapping is like a drug to me I guess!! I really love it. My day isn't complete unless I scrap something!! Maybe all those years with the layout a day threads got into my blood or something!!

Loving all of the new postings! I wish I could find a little more time for scrapbooking, but I'll take what I can get! Deanna... your HAPPY layout is just smashing, love that bright face and bright colors! Danica & Jan... super inspiring layouts!

Here's mine, couldn't think of any color to enhance the vivid fall colors, so I just left the background white.

With all your grandkids I'm surprised, DEANNA, that you have any month without birthdays. We have none in October. Thanks for sharing your LOs and it's good to know you have found other CTs to keep you busy. Can't imagine you not scrapping.

Stef isn't the east coast just the place to be in the fall? The colors are so lovely.

Not doing much here. Feeling poorly today. Not sure if I have the energy to scrap or not.

Stef...Those colors are amazingly vibrant. Connecticut colors don't seem as stunning to me as usual. I am still loving fall, though.

Debi... I'm sorry you're not feeling well tonight. Praying you feel better soon.

Deanna... You are so sweet to do birthday layouts. I scrap my kids' birthdays, but that's about it. My daughter's birthday is coming up on November 25th. She'll be 5. It seems like I was just doing baby layouts!

Name, oops. It's Laraine. I was just very lucky with the photo. I am not very good with a camera, thus an easy to use point and shoot. It does take great flower photos on the macro setting. Thanks for the comment.

Unfortunately my health did not improve-it went downhill instead.

I am in the hospital. took myself to urgent care Thursday morning because I woke Wednesday with pain in my right side and not being able to grab a deep breath...spent all day Wednesday trying to convince myself it was just sleeping in a bad position (well it could have been, right?) but after not getting any sleep Wednesday night I decided to get it checked out.

Once I got to urgent care, they took an xray, EKG and a CAT scan and found out I have pneumonia in both lungs with fluid in the right lung. They admitted me to the hospital, despite my protests. Then I was swabbed for the H1N1 flu and yep got that too. So I've been in isolation--feel like an alien since anyone wanting to come into my room has to put gown, mask and gloves on. I've been on 2 IV antibiotics, fluid IVs, vicodin and ibuprofen, and a myriad of other drugs. Sometimes I feel ok, sometimes I feel horrible (the later at the moment-usually follows eating when I get warm (although not showing a fever and a bit nauseous). I did throw up my breakfast yesterday but I blame it on the butter they cooked the eggs in -- too rich for my stomach. The docs seem worried about my low blood pressure 84-87/45-54 but it isn't all that uncommon for me to have a reading of 90/60 so I'm thinking it isn't that much off the norm. Anyway I will be here minimally through tomorrow and maybe longer (I hope not). It was very stressful trying to make last minute arrangements for the boys' care and most important for them to get to the game Thursday (as I was supposed to take 6) and the all day tournament today (again I was scheduled to take 6) but thankfully a friend helped me get rides for the boys and they are spending each night at a different friend's house. I didn't want to have them go to their dad's because he wouldn't have allowed them to do their sports and this is the big hoorah at the end of the season and I called the person who drove and they actually won a game today (1st of the season) so it was all worth it. Of course I did take a laptop with me (thinking I might be urgent care a while) but not one with my scrapping software so no scrapping for me (not that I feel like it anyway). So send me healing prayers and hope I get out of here quickly and that my charity care will be extended to cover it (it was due to end Thursday)...always something isn't it?

I'm going to sleep soon because I suspect it will be a noisy night again here on the floor and I'm a light sleeper.

Keep Scrapping,
Debi

Debi, praying for you!! So sorry you are sick. Glad the boys got to play in their games. Too bad their dad isn't supportive of their efforts in that direction. I think sports enhances their lives!! My kids were always involved in sports activities of one kind or another.

Debi, you sure are having a rough time. Prayers and hope you get to go home soon.

I noticed the colors in all the layouts this week are all so pretty - the bright ones in Deanna's grand kids are great and I like the blue in Jane's.

Since I live in Florida and we do have our "seasons," it's not like fall up north. I like to see the layouts with those colors that I used to see in Pennsylvania.

Sending positive healing thoughts your way Debi. I think, as moms, we sometimes let things go way too long before looking after ourselves. Hope you feel better and get home soon. Glad to hear the boys were able to still get to their games and take part!

Sending lots of prayers and positive thoughts for you Deb.... so sorry to hear that you're in the hospital. It must be stressful to be away from the boys, and miss their activities. But you're where you need to be to heal and be watched over. Hope it's a short stay, and that you recover quickly and completely.

Take care and thanks for the update!

Oh my gosh, Debi - I am so sorry to read that you haven't been feeling well. As awful as it is to be in the hospital, it will get you back to better more quickly. You are a good mom and probably don't always take care of yourself first at home. Wishing you returned health.

It's pretty awesome to see so many layouts posted here this week - I will try to got through the whole list later today and leave some praise individually.
