Not sure about Digital Scrapbooking? Check out the article on how this tried and true paper artist attempted incorporating digital into her paper world.....
I love digital scrapbooking – the look, the kits, the designs, the ability to do pretty much anything with the computer to make a perfect layout – everything about it. It is SUPER cool. But could I do it? Could I figure out the technology and the different elements and do all of my pages on the computer? Could I give up my paper scrapbooking for the digital revolution? I honestly didn’t think I could. BUT, I could try it. Read more to find out how this went!

Make & Takes: A Little Boy's Summer & Coaster Mini Book
This is a simple, one hour or more project. This could even be done as a project with children. This one is for a little boy, but it could be done as a great little vacation remembrance booklet, something to take along while traveling, a little family photo booklet for a backpack on a first week of school, a gift for a friend---a lot of great ideas for anyone!
Looking for a fast, easy way to gather some memorable, themed pictures together? I created this mini album for my new brother and sister-in-law in just an hour! It was simple and easy and a lot of fun.
An Australian's Perspective: Emily Falconbridge
My name is Emily Falconbridge, I’m a native Australian having recently relocated to the US due to my husband Mick getting his first ever job at the ripe old age of 29! ........... There is a house up the road from me that I like to drive past on purpose for pure amusement. You see, these people like flags. At first I really only noticed the flags hanging from the house on holidays – big red loveheart for valentines day, green clover on st.patricks, easter bunnies etc – but the more I went past, the more I realized they have quite an impressive collection! Not only every holiday you could imagine, but a creative mixture of ‘fun flags’ for every other day of the year!

Trend Watch by Miley Johnson
The trend that I am seeing all over the place right now is the use of butterflies, and really romantic lacey tops, lots of soft vintagey feeling clothing. I spent the weekend at the mall of America, and this look is everywhere right now. Lots of white. Lots of aged/ romance inspired clothing. I think it is sort of shabby..with a twist of vintage. So this was my ode to that look. To get this look in your pages, pull out some soft colors, add a bit of ruffle, or lace, a rub on with some ornamental inspiration. Keep it clean, not inked or messy. Look around your favorite stores, and you will see...clean classy romance is where it's at. Products right now that fit into this trend are everywhere. Paper lines like Anna Griffin. I am especially drawn to the Eliza 12x12 cardstock pack. The patterns that mimic soft fabrics. The quilted looking patterns from Anna Griffin are another example. The are so feminine, but are clean, and breezy.

Another idea, if you aren't crazy about lots of pattern. Why not make your own lace/eyelet fabric looking paper? With the Bazill scalloped edge cardstock, you can create a lace appearance by using a small hole punch, either in the circle style, or get creative and use a star punch, or a diamond shape. This cardstock is great for giving your pages that romance feel, and also gives fun movement to the design of your pages.

Want accents to top off the look? Basic Grey's new rub ons are fabulous for this style!. You could even use an entire sheet as pattern paper. Rub the sheet down, maybe hand stitch around the outer edge...a different twist to get more pattern into your projects!
