 So this is probably one of the most simple layouts I've done - but I think I'm happy with it. I wanted to keep it clean and not too girly for my dh :) Love the expression on their faces - just cracks me up. I plan on doing another page or so with the actual kite in the AIR, but this is a good start :) Inspiration: Katie's Month of Memories - April Kit: ParkAve by Sarah Jones (available at the digichick)- the paper strips are already torn - big time saver!! :) Fonts are suzy's hand and geosans light. Journaling reads: Your first experience with a kite! Daddy took advantage of the great wind at our campsite and got out a kit to fly for you! We had tried for a full month at home to fly a kite, but it either rained, or Daddy got home too late, or you were actually taking a nap when the conditions were right - imagine that! You helped by retreving it whenever it fell (which was more times than Daddy would like to admit since it was a two hand kite!) and being a great audience! I can’t wait until you are old enough to fly one for yourself!! TFL! :)
