Title: Last Scrapper Standing 4 - Soapbox Stories

Okay, can I just say something? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Can I just say how hard this thing was for me? No really, it was REALLY hard. I'm a simple girl, I use at tops 2 pieces of PP on my LO's. So 10, was like crazy, insane, someone shoot me in the head-effin hard. The first LO I did turned out like a piece of crap. And then it clicked last night(or maybe it was the rerun of project runway)and Tim saying in the back of my head "Make it Work!" So I did just that. I made 10 peices of PP turn into something simple, and I made it work for me and my style. So thank you ladies for another awesome, think out of the box challenge.

The background is cardstock and I just painted on it. The PP I used are 2 from KI, 1 SEI, 1 Fancy pants, 1 BG, 1 Scenic Route, 2 American Crafts, 1 Creative Imaginations, 1 Foofala. And the Woman sticker is a skateboarding sticker.

So on to the LO. Lately, I've been thinking that sometimes, girls can be so stupid. Really. I had this one friend in college, she dated this guy who treated her like such crap, cheated on her, etc etc...she kept coming to me, crying, and I told her everytime, "JUST LEAVE HIM! You're so much better than that." But did she listen? NO. At one point, I just had to break our friendship, because she kept going back to the guy, and I just got tired of hearing these awful stories about him, and she just wouldn't leave. So our friendship was over. And I know it's much easier when you're on the other side, not getting hurt to say things like "just leave." And I know there have been times, and past relationships that I've been in the same situation, It is hard to leave. But once that's all gone, you look back at those times, and you think, "What the F$*% was I thinking? Why did I put up with that? Why didn't I just leave him?" Because sometimes girls are stupid.

So, this LO is my dedication to the things we ladies should have said to that one guy we just wouldn't let go of, and took him back after he cheated on us, called us names, spent all those nights in our dorm room wondering where he is and all the drama that came along with it.

The lyrics on the side are from a Juliana Theory song called "If I told you this was killing me." One of my all time FAV songs. Go download it now. hehe. This song I'm dedicating to the things I should have said to that one guy. Here are the lyrics to the whole song: Watch your mouth. Hold your tongue boy. Because you're running out of breath, running out of time before every careless word that you utter, renders you utterly useless. Now you're drowning in your own saliva, Trying to spit yourself to the top of your empty world, Keep on talking, just keep on rambling, You've got your mouth full. Listen here's the pleasant part: you and I, we fell apart. Why can't you make up your mind? Shut your mouth, burn your bridges, Throw your words like an attack and stab me in the- Wait a second. What's that I just heard? Never mind it's obviously worthless. Now you're standing on your soapbox, yelling from the rooftops. Everything you say is a lie. Watch your mouth. Hold your tongue, Somethings are better left unsaid. Now I hope you're pleased. You let your pride stand tall, It danced within your words. Right before your fall. Why don’t you say that to my face? I've had ripped down, torn down so many things. Every thing you, every time you, Every word you say, If I told you this was killing me, would you, Would you stop?

How wonderful is this?! I love how you stayed true to your own style & still used the 10 pp. Love the concept, too!

congrats on your big win. what i like about this most is that it isn't perfect. it's isn't all lined up and straight and narrow. and my college roommate and i used to call girls "stupid girls" I think there was a song too, i just can't remember. thanks for takign me back in time.
