| Return to Category Page | How do I download and install my Fonts? |
|
Please read these instructions carefully and completely for proper installation of your fonts. Go into My Downloads after logging into your User account, you will see a menu for Select a Downloadable Category. The fonts are separated by category for easier browsing. When you have selected the category, hit List and those fonts will appear. You will be able to download each font in either TTF (Windows and MacOSX) or MacOS9 Suitcase formats. The font will be downloaded as a five digit number with the appropriate extension. There is no need to rename the file. *Note: If your browser employes an automatic download and does not ask where you'd like to save the file, it is probably saved into some default location. If you would like to specify the location to save (such as your desktop), right-click on the link and select "Save Link as..." or "Save Target as..." to choose your location. Do not save the file directly into the Fonts folder. Windows Users: 1. Go to My Downloads.2. Choose font of choice and then right click on Windows. 3. Select Save target as. 4. Select the Desktop icon and click Save. 5. A Download complete prompt will come up. Click Close. 6. Minimize 2Peas site. 7. The font should appear on the desktop. Right click and copy. 8. Go to Start & then Control Panel. 9. You should see a fonts icon. Double click on fonts. If you don't see a fonts icon, click on Switch to Classic View and then double click on Fonts. 10. All of your fonts should appear. Right click anywhere between the icons & paste. You are set! Macintosh Users: Use Stuffit to decompress or expand the HQX archive. If you do not currently have Stuffit Expander, a free version is available at http://www.stuffit.com/expander/. (This may occurr automatically on your computer) Note: If you are using font management software (such as FontBook, Suitcase or ATM Deluxe), follow the instructions that accompany the software. Mac OS 7.x - 9.x: After you decompress the HQX files (see above), then drag the file containing the MVB fonts onto your CLOSED System Folder. Your computer should give you a message confirming that the files are being placed in the "Fonts" folder within your system folder. Mac OS X: On newer MacOSX installations, you should be able to double-click the font and click "Install Font." If you are not using font management software, decompress the HQX files (see above), then drag the file containing the fonts into the "Fonts" folder in the "Library" folder of your user directory. |
