I LOVE my Amy Tan woodgrain and thought this would be a good second choice. I'm not terribly impressed with it - it is not realistic looking at all. OK in small pieces I guess - I'll have to layer other things on top of it. I MUCH prefer the Amy Tan woodgrain washi.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, this tape is more of a cartoon-ish woodgrain than an actual detailed version. I think that's pretty clear in the pictures -- the tape I received looks pretty darn close to the photos! I will say, this washi tape is much more solid (less see-through) than some of my other washis. Because it has such a unique pattern, I like that quality. Overall, I love this tape!! :]
