Wood veneers are really something I can get behind. They have the dimension of chipboard (well, sort of) but are more fun to color. I love to ink them - the brown coloring shows through a bit, making it really easy to create a layer effect or to use shading. I also paint them with dabbers and then spray them with Smooch. I'm sure they also take sprays well. I think they just tuck so wonderfully on top of layered paper, as an accent, in journaling, on cards... I have always loved chipboard shapes, and these just feel like a perfect step up. My only complaint is that a) I wish they stocked more often and b) I wish there were also sets of larger ones. But, I think with their increasing popularity, this is sure to come.

I love these hearts and arrows. You can use them for all kinds of projects!! I love that you can mist them or just leave them plain. You can also use them as a mask when you're misting!
