Works GREAT with embossing powders, is fabulous adding a subtle watermark images, and can even be used to hold down peel away strips (for zipper cards). A definite must have!
Another must-have for your crafting arsenal.

Use this stamp pad to create gorgeous watermark backgrounds, shading, and its favorite, heat embossing. Rub the pad along the edge of your paper and sprinkle on gold or silver embossing powder for a nice effect. Or, die-cut a piece of cardstock, for instance, using a Spellbinders tag die; then press the pad all over the die cut, then emboss with gold, silver, or black embossing powder for a unique embellishment. Also try the VersaMark PEN - it has two ends, a fine one and a broad one; fill with VersaMark refill when necessary (mine's lasted over a year and a half already) and use it to emboss your own handwriting... or even go over a stamped image to give it a shadow effect around the edges. Dazzle or Champagne (shimmery VersaMarks) are nice too, and can be used in the same ways. Use with clear embossing powder and a heat tool to create a subtle shiny pattern; then try the foam blending tool and some distress inks which will resist the embossed area to really make the stamped image "pop." Also use VersaMark with colored embossing powders for some real "wow" effects. Use Ranger ultra-fine powders for more detailed images; for solid areas or broader designs, any powder will do. American Crafts makes some really incredible, bright colors - "Zing" - great for use on black cardstock, too. Don't worry if your pad gets grungy looking.. it just means you love it and it's well-used!

I use my versamark ink all the time! Only one I've ever used for embossing powders.
