About me

I am a 54 year old grandmother who is raising my 5 year old grandaughter, Alexis. I retired from the corporate world 7 years ago due to liver failure. I thought my life was pretty much over, but my Higher Power had something different in mind for me other than chasing a buck. Through a series of life changing events, which at the time, I thought were devastating, he put me in a position so that I could raise Alexis.It was devine intervention at work. I am passionate about scrapbooking for many reasons. Life dealt Alexis sort of a very difficult hand in life. I want her to be able to see in a visual form that she is very loved and valued. It is something money can not buy, a permanent gift from the heart. I was a crafter with my own small business, for the past 30 years before I got into scrapbooking. I love how all the other crafts that I have done help me in my scrapbooking today. It never bores me. There is something always new and fresh to try or see. I hope when Alexis is a grown woman that she can look through these pages and see that even though some of her family is gone, that she will know how truely special she was to them.
