Great browns and blues

It was the addition of blues and taupey-gray to this paper set, besides the orange and rusts that caught my eye. Really helps stretch the use beyond just Fall projects. Also, I'm drawn to "dots" papers, so its clear why I bought it :)

These doodled frames are really cute and I enjoyed using on a child's digi layout. Easy to fill with the paint bucket tool or clip a paper to it for a patterned frame. I like the look of hand drawn doodles but actually doing them myself never comes out looking like these, so ideal for me :)

Like most card makers I love a nice 6x6 pad. I bought a few sheets of the 12x12 to use for a project and to make some larger elements or embellishment for the cards. I think these will be great for summer cards. The color scheme is fresh and trendy.

I bought a couple of sheets of this 12 x 12 for home decor project and to cut up for card embellishing. The larger pictures/postcards on the sheet are about 4x6 - snapshot size. Authentique double sided sheets are always beautiful in projects besides scrapbooking I think because of their heavy weight and luxury feel.

These mix and match sets are a big help in building a pencil collection. They're made to blend with each other. I'm not an artist so I might not be saying this right -- the pink end of the red set here has a 'purplish' tone so I had to find the 'baby pink' color I needed for my project from another pencil set. So its not every color you need but they are lovely to work with.

I've been lusting after these pencils after seeing some beautiful work with them (Jill Foster's cards are fab). So excited to finally have some of my own. They do blend beautifully and layer so that you can get almost a watercolor effect with them even those these are not water color pencils. This blue set shades into the purples.

This package has a nice fresh color scheme with the addition of light blue and peach. The papers kit has 3 that are not specifically holiday themed, if you like to stretch your kits and use them for more than the obvious. I'm thinking the gift packages in the elements kit could be paired with one of the patterned papers on a birthday page too.
