About me

Hi Everyone! My name is Ronda Palazzari, like the beach boy song Help me Rhonda...only "no h." I currently live in the burbs of Denver, Colorado with my husband Andy and two teens. I love being a work-at-home mom and all things crafty... scrapping, cooking, knitting, sewing, interior decorating, and photography. I am addicted to chai teas, love to travel, say "Shut Up", "Totally", "Dude," & "No Worries" way too much, obsessed with colors & rainbow order, love to read books & sometimes reread my favorites, find that being a WAHM is one of the hardest but most rewarding jobs, am always listening to music & have a very eclectic taste, love baking & the scent of vanilla, addicted to Project Runway, Top Chef, & America's next top model, love to sleep in late when I get the chance & very much a night owl, and totally dislike writing bios because I sound so cheesy.

I like to call my Mixed Media style Uptown Antique Brie: a little class, a little vintage, and a lot of good cheese. I love the new, flashy stuff but have an appreciation for vintage items. I love to push the edge of products and use them in unconventional ways. Most of my layouts (if not all) are cheesy, scrapping the emotions and everyday moments. I love using bold colors and combining colors that surprise people.

Some of my proudest scrapbook moments are starting the One Little Word Scrapbook challenge blog, being a named a Memory Makers Master (2009), becoming part of the Maya road, Lilybee, Purple Onion, and Cocoa Daisy Design Teams. i am blessed.

Oh did i tell you, i am going to my own book? eeks...so excited! F&W MEdia/Northlight is publishing my book ART OF LAYERS due out March 2012.
