sad and glad about stamp camp...

I really enjoyed weeks 2 & 4, especially the masking technique! Stamp camp has been the first thing I have looked forward to on Monday mornings in a long time!!! I started with a few stamps and had never made a card before. Now my Christmas cards are done, I have lots more stamps, and I learned some great new techniques! The videos and tutorials were extremely helpful and I'm so appreciative to the 2peas garden girls for helping me navigate the site and establishing my posts and blogs online. Stamp camp opened up a whole new world for me! Thanks! kelly

I've learned you can think outside the box and use all sorts of medium with stamps and cards! fabric, different inks, dyes...tons of stamps are out there! open yourself up to the many possibilities! stamp camp has opened up a whole new world to me! I am no longer afraid to use an ink applicator to make sure I have adequate coverage on my card...Stamps can be cool! Have fun is the most important tip I can give anyone! kelly

Any readers out there?!

I love to read as well as scrapbook! Well I have just found the perfect series for both! The author is Laura Childs and her "scrapbooking mysteries" have been out there awhile but I just found them and I absolutely love them! Included in the books are scrapbooking tips and recipes! I've also found "Paper, Scissors, Death" by Joanna Campbell Slan...looking forward to this read! I live in St. Louis and the story is set in St. Louis! Was just curious about what other scrapbookers might have read or heard about. Blessings to all! Kelly

stamp camp rocks!

This is my first time to participate in anything on 2ps and I chose stamp camp for my first attempt. I had an absolute blast! I learned how to do masking, which I had never done before and I haven't had that much fun in a long time! I am a stay-at-home mom with multiple sclerosis and use scrappin' as therapy and now every morning I can't wait to see what other classes I can get involved in and see who's on the message boards and what I can learn next! I only have 1 friend who scrapbooks and we can't get together very often so this has been awseome for me! Blessings and a million thanks! Kelly
