Stamping & Stitching Challenge - 4/1/09 - 4/30/09

This challenge starts on April 1th, and ends on April 30th.

I always like the look of stitching on cards.  It adds a lot, can even make scraps look good :)

-The challenge is to use stitching on your stamped cards, and upload your project to the stamping gallery.  If you don't own a sewing machine you can do faux stitching.

-Check the challenge box when you upload your card, so it shows up here below my post.

-Your title should include Stitching.

-Please link your card to the thread on the stamping board too.

On my first sample I used the stitches to attach the vellum stems to the card.

On my second sample I used strips of colored cardstock from my scraps box.  Strips were colored with Distress Ink, Ecoline Ink and Brilliance refill.  I stamped the Hero Arts flowers, and stitched the finished piece onto cream cardstock.

I hope you take the challenge, and have fun.  Can't wait to see what you come up with!
