WS11 – Make a Scene challenge

Challenge dates: 5 March 2011 – 13 March 2011

Welcome to my Winterfest 2011 challenge!

My challenge is to Make a Scene. But of course not in the sense of getting upset, but in the sense of stamping a scene. It can be any kind of scene, for example realistic, funny or sweet - whatever you can think of.

Stamping and constructing little scenes is lots of fun and there are limitless possibilities both regarding stamps and items to use in your scene and regarding techniques. Here are a just few ideas:

- People, animals, birds, houses, fence, paths, clouds, trees, flowers, boats, lighthouse, etc., etc.
- Play with scale and dimension.
- Use different techniques to color the scene or to create texture.
- You can use many different stamping techniques when making a scene, such as heat and dry embossing, masking, paper piecing, etc.

Challenge guidelines:
1. Make a new card of any size, an ATC, a layout or any other project, where you stamp your own scene.
2. Your scene must include at least one stamp and a total of at least three elements (for example, a house, a tree and a cloud). 
3. Post your piece in the stamping gallery, and click the checkbox for ‘WS11 Make a Scene’. It is good if you also include ‘Make a Scene’ in your title.
4. Please share how you made your scene, so that we can all learn.
5. You can combine this challenge with other Winterfest challenges and you may enter as many times you like.
6. It is always fun if you link your piece to the discussion thread about this challenge. Also, if you have any comments or questions, please leave them on that thread too.
7. The challenge runs between 5 March and 13 March 2011.
 

Each entry will be entered into a random RAK drawing.
