WF 09 :: Winterfest 2009 Cuttlebug Challenge

Winterfest 2009

WF 09 :: Winterfest 2009 Cuttlebug Challenge (March 12, 2009 - March 15, 2009)

Welcome to another wonderful challenge for Winterfest 2009. Thanks to the Stamping Board for hosting.

For this challenge, you will need to use your Cuttlebug - CB, in some way along with stamping. For me the easiest way is to use the embossing folders, but you could use the CB dies as well. You can create a card, ATC, layout or any other project.

NOTE: You must use CB products; using other dies and products in the CB will not be permitted for this challenge (if you want to post those items anyway, that is fine, though you will be not eligible to win the RAK).

RAK:
** TBA (gives me a reason to go shopping for you)

**Only entries on the blog page will be eligible for the RAK

** Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 a.m. EDST on Sunday, March 15, 2009
** The winner will be announced on Sunday, March 15, 2009 no later than 5 p.m. (EDST) (I work until 1 p.m.)

POSTING: Don't forget to check the appropriate challenge box when you are uploading your pix. Please post your projects in the Stamping Gallery.

You need to make sure you check the Winterfest 2009 Cuttlebug Challenge box so that your submission appears on the blog page.

Only entries on the blog page will be eligible for the RAK (it's just easier to scroll through there and view everything).

OTHER: You can use this challenge in conjunction with other challenges and have fun!

Check this blog to see all of the entries.

Oh, and if you like this challenge, make sure you check out the Cuttlebug Challenge blog; there are new challenges weekly. I'm on the design team.

Thanks in advance for participating.

Take care ... Kim / ohradiogirl

Lost Cuttlebug

This post is also on my blog: Radiogirl Cards

Cuttlebug

It's a sad day and a sad time ... I recently moved/relocated ... whatever you want to call it. Point is, I had to pack up my humongous craft stash and now I don't know where things are. I created a pile of craft stash that I absolutely had to have w/me and that I could have immediate access to. I thought that's where the Cuttlebug is/was. It is not.

You do know how hard it is to misplace a Cuttlebug, right ... ? I mean, it's a bright green color and it's a bit heavy too. But I can tell you one thing, it is NOT in this house. What I am also afraid of is that I will find the machine, but then, where in the heck are the plates ... ? Jeez.

I am soooo tempted to grab a 40% off coupon and go buy another one. But that would be wasteful. My sister offered to mail me hers ... not so genius since I already mentioned how heavy it is.

My only hope is that someone in my neighborhood will invite me over to craft and that they will have all of the super cool craft tools including a Cuttlebug. Wow ... wake me from that dream. I'm sure my neighbors know nothing about the CB or its popularity in the craft world or my sadness for being w/out mine for that matter.

Oh woe is me ... how I am going to partipate in the Cuttlebug Challenge? How am I going to write my next article for Craft Critique, which includes critiquing the Cuttlebug?

What if I wrote Provo Craft - the makers of Cuttlebug - a note? Why not just send them this blog post? Silly me, silly, silly me ... well, if you live in Ohio and have a Cuttlebug - Holla.

Thanks to my friend Ruthie for the "Missing" poster. :-)

Stamp Camp

It is week 2 @ Stamp Camp.  Love the name ... and hosted here at Two Peas.

Last week was working w/metals and this week it's masking.

So I went to the info about masking, but I am having some computer issues these days.

  • my laptop crashed
  • I've been using the computer @ the library (bless them, but they don't have the most recent edition of Flash so I get no images)
  • I was confused w/the test explanation about masking and I've been confused about masking for some time now

Enter Daria into the picture.  Pea djc sent me a peamail w/tons of links about masking, many of the links w/pics.  Yea!

Gotta love that.  I hope to get to read the material in the next few days, I might even fork over a few cents to 'print' out some info at the library.

Love the Two Peas Community and how they always come to my rescue.
