There is this Santa that has been around the Two Peas warehouse forever.  I'm not even sure where he came from.  Lately, Santa has been placed, by different team members, in different spots around the warehouse - behind doors and such - and we think it's just the most hilarious thing, lol.  I walked into my office one morning to find him greeting me at my desk.  That Santa's so sneaky! :)

Here it is - an announcement we've been so, so very eager to share - Free Monthly Classes in 2011!

This year every class will include an instructional video, PDF, and multiple examples - all for you, all for free!

On the 1st of every month: Scrapbook Stamping with Nichol Magouirk

Stamping isn't just for card-making!  In this class you'll learn how to take one of the most versatile supplies, stamps, and use them in your layouts!  Nichol will touch on embossing, creating backgrounds, titles, embellishments, inking and more!

On the 10th of every month: Products You Love Every Which Way with Shannon Tidwell

Supplies.  Our desks, closets, and rooms are full of them.  Are you using them to their full potential though?  This year we are going to cover 12 different categories of supplies.  We'll push them a little further, discover new uses, and most of all...inspire you to use them all!  Each month we'll focus on a new category and show several examples of using them EVERY WHICH WAY!

On the 20th of every month: Stretch a Sketch with Jen Gallacher

Join Garden Girl Jennifer Gallacher in a monthly class focused on layout sketches.  In this class, Jen will share how to create a layout from the monthly sketch.  She will also include additional layout samples that show a variety of new ways to use the same sketch including 8 1/2" x 11" and 12"x12" sketches and layouts.  Watch for additional tips and techniques for using products and tools in this class designed to help you get the most from your sketches.

On the 30th of every month: 4x6 Photo Love with Shimelle Laine

Are you a 4x6 photo fan?  Whether you have drawers of photos piling up or want to select your favourites to print and scrap each month, Garden Girl Shimelle Laine invites you to share a little love for the humble 4x6 photo!  Every month she'll focus on one design concept especially for 4x6 prints and show you variations on that technique so you can scrap in your own style.  Each month is a new look: one 4x6 print in January, two 4x6 prints in February, right up to a full dozen 4x6 photos in December's page!  Over the year, we'll look at both single and double page layouts, simple designs and ways to add additional pictures with interactive pages - there's something for everyone!  Paper and digital pages are both highlighted each month.  So grab your standard prints and join us for a year of 4x6 Photo Love!

How do I sign up for a class?  We're glad you're interested!  There's no need to sign up - the content of these classes are available to you for free, and are posted on the website the date that it goes live each month.

Where do I find the classes?  You'll find the classes from the Classes & Events section of the website - launching very soon! 

How do I participate in a class? Your level of participation is up to you!  You can work at your own pace and follow the lessons as you like, or you can keep with the monthly rhythm, uploading your projects to the member gallery and sharing them in the class.  Checking the class challenge checkbox (you'll see it during the upload process) will ensure your project is posted to the class.  You can also comment on other participants projects and discuss the lesson with members and the instructor on the message board!

Did you spot our ad in the January issue of Creating Keepsakes?  We happen to think it's a pretty fun one! ;)

A little background behind the name "Mrs. Bradley..."  When we were conceptualizing her character, we had everything down but her name.  It was decided "Mrs Bradley" would be the perfect one.  It is a name that is special to us as it belongs to our warehouse manager and good friend, Jamie Bradley!

Jamie has been working for Two Peas for over 10 years and we think she's pretty awesome. :)  She possesses some of the characteristics we imagine our CK ad character to have - she's fun and hip and has a love for her family and friends that is the drive behind the way she leads her life.
