Hi all! For this week’s card, I used some of Sassafras’ new Indie Girl collection. I just love the colors in this collection. I only bought the 6×6 pad, but I might have to order the full sheets, too! Anyhow, I used the 6×6 pad and then the Big Hugs stamp set from Hero Arts to make a Happy Birthday card.

Oh, and I say in the video that the blue patterned paper is from BasicGrey’s Olivia collection, but it’s not. I checked and it’s actually from the Oliver 6×6 pad. Just so ya’ll know. :)

While I was creating the card for this week’s Finally Friday video, I had a specific plan. Then after putting some of it together, I decided to bag it and try something different. Anyhow, this is what I eventually came up with. It’s a super simple card, and that’s saying a lot coming from me because ALL my cards tend to be simple. LOL!

In the video, I give a little tip for using Stampin’ Up! Classic ink with clear stamps (prime with VersaMark ink), and I used a stamp set from BasicGrey. I thought the sentiment with the stamp set was really cute, but decided to write the sentiment “You’re a Tweetheart” in my handwriting instead of using the stamp. :)

Hi all!

For this week’s Finally Friday card, I wanted to use Hero Art’s Antique Engravings stamp set. All the butterflies are so so pretty! And I got to use nearly every stamp in the set by creating a background with all the butterfly stamps. As for ink and paper, I used Iris chalk ink and Iris layering paper also from Hero Arts. Then a little glitter, vellum, and a sentiment from Hero Art’s Truly Appreciated stamp set and I was good to go! :)

Gosh, I used a lot of Hero stuff, yeah? Not planned. Just sort of happened. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!

Hi all! This week’s Finally Friday video came about because I really wanted to try Inkadinkado’s Stamping Mask Paper. I used it to create the cloud shape on the card front with VersaMark ink, and then stamped the cute little birds from BG’s Tree Hugger stamp set. I also used some 7Gypsies Patterned Paper Tape. Anyhow, enjoy!
