Short bio: Hi. I'm Lilith. I was born in Leuven, Belgium on 26th January 1979. As a child I grew up in South Africa and my parents moved back to Europe when I was a teenager and settled in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. I now live in the South of Belgium in the Ardennes. I am a mother to four marvellous but mischievous boys (Damien, Noé (9), Robin (6) and Elouan (3)) and have been married to the most wonderful man for 11 years. I'm a foreign language teacher. I teach Dutch and English to French speaking students and I LOVE it. Besides my passion for languages and teaching, there is also music, photography and on the top of my list SCRAPBOOKING. I started just after getting married as I wanted to make a wedding album. I really got hooked when my two eldest boys were born in 2003 and I haven't stopped since. It helps me unwind from my hectic days being a mum and teaching teenagers. Scrapbooking has made me realise that I can be creative and I love documenting my family's life. It has made me become more confident and willing to have a go.

Favorite thing to scrap: I love scrapping photos of my boys. They make me happy and inspire me.

Favorite American Crafts product: Patterned Paper. I am a paper addict.

5 fun facts:

1. My feet and hands are ALWAYS freezing cold even in summer.

2. I love tea and drink it all day long. My all time favourite is Rooiboos tea which is a plant from South Africa where I grew up as a child. It brings back fond memories.

3. As a child I wanted to be an opera singer and I still do.I love to sing.

4. I have an extremely high pain threshold. I never get any anesthesia when I go to the dentist as I don't feel a thing. That probably explains why I didn't think childbirth was too bad.

5. I hope one day I'll be able to combine my passion for teaching with my love for scrapbooking.

Kelly Goree
Name: Kelly Goree

Location: Shelbyville, KY

Blog: kellygoree.blogspot.com

Instagram: @kelly_goree

Twitter: @kellygoree

Pinterest: pinterest.com/KellyGoree

Short bio: When it comes to design and décor, Kelly Goree is completely eclectic. She constantly strives to incorporate things she loves within a wide variety of design styles and color palettes to keep things interesting and exciting (much to her husband’s dismay). Her love of color, quirky elements and bold patterns carries over to her self-proclaimed “classic with a twist” scrapbooking style. In 2006 Kelly had the honor of being a Memory Makers Master and since then has worked with many leaders of the scrapbooking industry including American Crafts, BasicGrey, Simple Stories, Technique Tuesday, and Queen & Company. She currently enjoys being on the design team for Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine in addition to having projects featured regularly in various scrapbooking and paper arts publications. Kelly lives in the beautiful horse country of Kentucky with her husband and three boys.

Favorite thing to scrap: SPORTS! Hands down. With three boys I better love it! (Conversely - my LEAST favorite thing to scrap is Christmas!)

Favorite American Crafts product: Everyone is saying THICKERS aren't they? I have to be different because I truly love all the papers and embellishments and say the ALBUMS! I can't live without my AC Modern Albums. I have close to 30 and show no signs of slowing!

5 fun facts:

1. I am from Kentucky - Louisville, even - but I've never been to the Kentucky Derby. I've been close...but then it decided to hail on us on the way there and we thought better of it. Crazy, I know.

2. I taught dance (tap, jazz and ballet) to little girls 3-8 years old to have spending money throughout college. It was a good thing I got my girl fix in then as now I'm the mom to three little boys who would vehemently object to me putting them in tutus and tights. (Ok, not the tights. Superheroes DO wear tights.)

3. I have an addition to McDonald's Diet Coke. Seriously. It's worse than any drug.

4. I’m double jointed in my left thumb. Just that joint only. No others. I have yet to figure out something useful to do with it.

5. My driver's license says I'm 5'1, but it's really more like 5' 1/2". Some people lie about their age. For me, it’s this.

I'm not quite sure how that happened because I love playing soccer and wearing anything but dresses. I am a school social worker, scrapbooker, wanna-be photographer and do-er of all things crafty. I love vintage cameras, typewriters, spray paint, and estate sales. You can also find me watching really super intellectual, high quality reality television on a regular basis. I am ridiculously super happy to be designing for American Crafts!

Favorite American Crafts product: Tie between patterned paper and Thickers. I have a whole crate full of Thickers in all colors, fonts and alphabetty goodness!

4. I'm obsessed with Disney World and am going on an adults only girls trip there later this summer.

Short bio: My name is Janna Werner, I am a designer and freelance writer who also teaches papercrafting (online) classes. I live in Oldenburg, Germany, together with my Danish husband Jesper, our dog Sindri, two rabbits and a few goldfish. My love for papercrafts and mixed media art evolved in 2010 when a friend of mine introduced me to scrapbooking. I just released my first book "Paper Art" which includes scrapbooking layouts, mini albums, art journaling pages and mixed media projects. Oh – and I looove Instagram :)

Favorite thing to scrap: Scrapbooking pages, mini albums and gift wrappings. I love decorating match boxes, the smaller the better :)

Favorite American Crafts product: You seriously ask me to narrow it down to one product? Definitely not possible! I am a huge fan of the ZING embossing powder, ZAZZ glitter glue and WOW glitter/SPARK tinsel – guess I have a thing for all things glittery. Besides that I like the date and word stamps and patterned papers, especially the Dear Lizzy and Amy Tangerine collections. Please excuse my cheating on the question ;)

5 fun facts:

1. I have three forenames: Janna Berit Neele. If I'd been a boy my name would've been Jan Hendrik Steffen.

2. It took me 2 weeks to find the right name for our dog (he is called Sindri, I named him after the singer Bjork's son).

3. I never leave the house without a tissue.

4. I get nervous when I need to talk in front of many people, although I have been doing this a lot of times.

5. I am super tidy, but my work space is a total chaos.

Name: Heather Leopard

Location: Cypress, TX

Blog: thespottedleopard.blogspot.com

Instagram: @heatherleopard

Twitter: @heatherleopard

Pinterest: pinterest.com/heatherleopard

Short bio: Heather has been scrapbooking since kindergarten if you consider cutting shapes out of construction paper and gluing them together. Kidding aside, Heather has enjoyed capturing and documenting memories as far back as she can remember but it was her wedding and then the birth of her children that reignited her passion for scrapbooking. Her strong desire to capture the everyday stories for her children is what drives her creativity. Heather is currently the design team leader for Lily Bee Design and is on the Design Teams/Creative Teams for American Crafts, Little Yellow Bicycle, Scrapbook Circle kit club and Gossamer Blue kit club. Heather’s work has been published in Scrapbook Trends and Creating Keepsakes magazines, Creating Keepsakes Special Edition publications, and PaperHaus Magazine. Heather lives in Cypress, TX with her husband, two daughters (9 and 4 years) and her bonus son (16 years).

Favorite thing to scrap: The small, everyday little moments we experience as a family. I look for that one moment in time that really captures the essence of whatever it is we are doing.

Favorite American Crafts product: While I hoard patterned paper and Thickers, I absolutely love the Bits and Details embellishments. They help take a great layout to the next level and make it so much more wonderful!

5 fun facts:

1. My last name really is Leopard, like the cat. It's definitely different but also pretty stinkin' cool. Our kiddos think so too! As my oldest daughter says, "Peace, Love, Leopards".

2. We adopted our first rescue dog and then decided she needed a pal so we rescued another. They are BFF's and have been a wonderful addition to our family.

3. I have been on the quest for the best puffy tacos. If you've ever had one, you know what I mean. If you haven't, you are missing out! I finally found a tried and true favorite (yay!) but they are 3.5 hours away (boo!).

4. I loathe math so much so that I chose my major in college (Communications) partly based on the fact that it had the least amount of math courses. It was the best decision because I enjoyed the classes immensely and I love what I do. Thankfully, my hubby has excellent math skills.

5. I love this hobby so much because it gives me a creative outlet while documenting my family's lives but I have met so many amazing people through scrapbooking, many of whom I hold near & dear to my heart. Awwww!

Heather says, "My style is 'eclectic' eklectic aka random. Sometimes I am more simple but I'm usually more ornate with my designs. It all depends on the story of the photo. I am drawn to patterns and color so you will see alot of that in my projects this year. One thing is certain, you will usually see some sort of layering, stitching, and pops of color everywhere. I hope to inspire you with the fabulous collections from American Crafts!"

Short bio: I have the distinct honor of being a mom to 4, wife to a hottie, teammate to some epic roller derby chicks, loving owner of a new pup & supposedly master of my own domain. Our loud, but happy, home is in Lexington, KY where the grass is always bluer. I would describe my scrapbooking style as bright, bold, and artsy fartsy, just like me!

Favorite thing to scrap: Everyday moments.

Favorite American Crafts product: Embellishments are my fav. Maybe thats cheating because it involves all of the bits and flair and die cuts and ribbon, etc. There are so many ways to use these things, I can't get enough!

5 fun facts:

1. At any given time I will have up to 5 lists going. Sometimes I even write, "Make a list for…." on my to-do list. It's a little out of hand.

2. I have memorized every line in Pitch Perfect. (ok, not really, but I'm pretty close!)

3. No one, I repeat no one, can "car" dance better than I do! Turn it up - this is my jam!!! (btw, every song happens to be my jam)

4. I am in romantic love with Slurpees - maybe an overstatement, but you get it.

5. I have made a living as a paid artist & being creative moves my soul.

"It's rare that I create a layout about myself, but I'm trying to be better about this. Sometimes the best way to go about it is to pick a couple of photos and pair it with some 'here and now' kind of journaling. Viola! Quick, painless, and I am accounted for in my families album."

Short bio: My name is Diana Waite and I am a PROUD soccer mom of 3 fantastic kids, a mini schnauzer name Dakota, a Vizla named Ella, and wife to my best friend of 17 years. I LOVE to take pictures, enjoy reading, working out, eating, and spending time with my family. I LOVE to play with paper - I have since I was a kid. My mom jokes that she used to have to hide the tape, paper (any kind), and scissors from me because I was ALWAYS making something to give away. (I always seemed to have found it anyway!) I have been scrapbooking for around 15 years. I have been published in Creating Keepsakes, Cards, Cricut, and Scrapbook Trends magazines.

Favorite thing to scrap: My kiddos, including the doggies!

Favorite American Crafts product: Thickers of course! Love their versatility with color texture and style - seriously my go-to embellishment!

5 fun facts:

1. I am a daytime scrapper and Netflix is going while I scrap.

2. I served a year and half church mission in Venezuela, so yes, I speak Spanish.

3. I'm a Sci-Fi geek but I also LOVE a good mystery!

4. My favorite beverage of choice is a cold glass of water.

5. I enjoy baking (bread, cookies, and other goodies!)

Davinie Fiero
Name: Davinie Fiero

Location: Redmond, OR

Blog: davinie.blogspot.com

Instagram: @davinie

Twitter: @Davinie

Pinterest: pinterest.com/davinie

Short bio: I'm married to my local firefighter and mom to two sweet girls living on a couple of acres in Central Oregon. I recently earned my Master's Degree in Elementary Education and am proud to make that dream come true after taking the time to be at home with my girls when they were young. Cutting paper into bits is a passion of mine. I have always considered myself a creative and crafty person and am always on the lookout for new DIY projects for my home, recipes to make with vegetables from my garden, and scrapbook layouts to document my life.

Favorite thing to scrap: I have two daughters that fill my days with joy. We also have a little farm and will soon be welcoming a new puppy daughter which is about to turn our world upside down. We can't wait!

Favorite American Crafts product: There isn't a layout of mine that hasn't seen a Precision Pen and sitting nearby will likely be a Thicker with a few stitch marks from my sewing machine. American Crafts products are a staple in my craft room.

5 fun facts:

1. I am a Starbucks fan but always give my daughter's name when asked. It is much easier for baristas to remember "Morgan" than it is to try and say, let alone spell, my name. I'm a gold card holder. It's a lot of coffee.

2. My name Davinie is pronounced like "have any" and is a mixture of my parent's names, DAVId and BonNIE. I still have the piece of paper they were writing on when they were "boggling" to come up with something unique.

3. My favorite movie is "Pride and Prejudice". It is my go to cinema when I'm crafting. I'm sorry.... but I've been bewitched, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love Mathew Macfadyen and Keira Knightley the best in this roll. I just do. I apologize to Colin Firth lovers everywhere.

4. I have a goal to run a half marathon this year. I just need someone to come over and kick me a few times so I can get on a good training schedule with a race that is at a good time of year. It's a huge item on my bucket list and I mean to do it soon.

5. I'm left handed. This may be a random fact, but it has made learning to knit on the internet and with patterns a challenge. Papercrafting came naturally to me. Knitting does not. I'm currently working on a throw blanket for my living room just to practice. A dream would be to knit a colorful afghan made of granny squares. And then a sweater. I just need to find the right tutorial on youtube.

FRIENDS CARD by Davinie Fiero

Supplies: Polka Dot Party 6x6 paper pad (366214), die cut shapes (366205), large tags (366206), Amy Tangerine cut out accents (366060), bits (366074), embroidery stencil kit (366081), premium ribbon (366193), sunflower cardstock (71113)

Davinie says, "Long before it became cool, I have been an embroiderer. It is one of the first crafty things I did as a little girl. It has always been a relaxing technique for me to use, and it made an easy transition to papercrafting when scrapbooking became a big part of my life. The stitching templates created by Amy Tangerine are an easy way to incorporate this technique into your projects.  I have never used templates before, but decided to utilize them for my project this month and found them easy to use and they made this technique much simpler to add. Stitching has been part of my aesthetic but I have also always enjoyed texture. With that in mind, I chose a stitching pattern that covered the bulk of my card to provide an even amount of texture to the project. I trimmed a piece of patterned paper 4x4 and pierced the paper. I then arranged the template on the last row I pierced so that I could continue the pattern on the rest of the paper.  I then adhered this piece to a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and added layers until I was happy.

Texture and stitching are a signature to my work, and I think this card does a good job capturing the kind of designer that I am. Thanks for taking a peek!"

Short bio: Corrie lives with her husband and three active daughters in the ‘burbs of Atlanta where she spends a considerable amount of time playing a taxi driver and trying to stay cool in the heat. She has been scrapbooking since 2009 and has found that it provides her with a creative and artistic outlet that helps to keep her sane even in the chaotic craziness of life. Beside scrapbooking, Corrie enjoys photographing her kids, reading on the beach, looking at magazines, drinking coffee while watching a sunrise over the ocean, eating sushi with friends, and encouraging kids to run faster and to score a goal. Corrie enjoys being on design teams and the challenge of having one set of supplies and making them fit into her style. The best part of creating pages for Corrie is that it forces her to remember how amazing this life and world are, even when things aren’t happy and perfect.

Favorite thing to scrap: My kids. Hands down. I love looking at their beautiful faces.

Favorite American Crafts product: THICKERS!!! They are the BEST product on the market!

5 fun facts:

1. The beach is my favorite place. Water calms me.

2. I wear flip flops from March through November every year.

3. Going out to eat is one of my favorite things to do. It is always my idea for date night or girls night out. I think my kids have this in them too.

4. I tend to be a hot head and will explode now and then.

5. My hubby and I have a 6 month trip planned for the year we retire (not soon) to drive up the east coast from Key West to Maine and explore all the beaches along the way. Lovecard475

Short bio: My name is Ashley Horton and I live in the Southern US with my husband Tyler and our three kids ages 7, 5, and 4. I have been scrapbooking for 7 and a half years and was introduced to my first Creative Memories Crop by a friend. Once I discovered all of the magazines and online Scrapbooking galleries and communities, I really fell in love with it. I have had the privilege of serving on many amazing Design Teams over the past several years and I have been published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbook News & Review, and Life.Paper.Scrapbook. Other than scrapbooking, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, reading, and watching movies with my hubby.

Favorite thing to scrap: I love to scrap everyday moments. Those are the ones that are harder to remember as time passes so those are the memories I want to record on my layouts.

Favorite American Crafts product: I would have to say Thickers and patterned papers are even favorites!

5 fun facts:

1. I usually create at least 5-7 layouts a week...if not more. It's an addiction.

2. I like to drink my Coke hot...no ice. I want to get the full caffeine effect!

3. I am more an action/sci-fi movie kind of girl, rather than chick flicks...although, I still watch them.

4. I have a compulsive reading addiction. I can read the same books over and over again, and if I had the time, I could just sit and read all day.

5. I am not a big reality TV fan, but I do love Project Runway, Ink Masters (weird, I know) and Iron Chef America. I think it's because of the aspect that they all are creating something and it falls in line with the creativity I feel for scrapbooking.

The papers from the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection worked perfectly with the colors in my daughter's swimsuit, and I also added a slight nautical touch for the beach theme by creating a sunburst and Cameo cut waves."

We live in the country in central part of Pennsylvania. Scrapbooking for me is capturing our everyday moments on paper so they will have something to treasure when they get older. I started scrapbooking when my oldest was born, 8 years ago. I also love to take pictures, so much it's become a joke with my family that if I don't have my camera something is wrong. I would say my style is clean & simple but with a shabby chic look too. I love color and love seeing it mixed together. And I prefer to handwrite most of my journaling so that it is more personable for my kids. Along with scrapbooking layouts, I also enjoy making canvas, cards, and other altered item. I love to inspire people with my work and enjoy teaching others about this amazing art of scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is truly a great way of preserving memories. I'm currently on American Crafts, Fancy Pants Designs, Citrus Twist Kits, and Gossamer Blue Design Teams. I have been published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, Cards, and Paper Crafts.

Short bio: My name is Allison Waken and I'm a wife and mom to two boys (9 and 7), two dogs, and a few creepy crawly pets. We live in the desert of AZ and try to travel to our family in Southern California often! I love change and trying new things, but it sometimes leaves my head swimming with ideas and to-do lists. I love photography, building LEGOS, traveling (who doesn't?), and the beach. I started scrapbooking as a child and while the reasoning is the same, my style is a bit different! I love the creativity and artistic side of this hobby. I think it's an amazing way to share our lives with our families.

Favorite thing to scrap: My kids! All 3 of them (1 being my dog).

Favorite American Crafts product: Thickers, patterned paper, and stitching templates are becoming a fast fav!

5 fun facts:

1. I have very bad eyesight. I wouldn't be able to function without vision correction.

2. I've lived in Phoenix, AZ my entire life. I don't think I could survive long in the snow!

3. I have been eating gluten free (out of necessity) for the last 3 1/2 years.

4. We have 7 snakes and 6 snake eggs currently living in our house (on purpose).

5. I still get remembered as "the girl whose boyfriend drove a pink VW bug in high school". My husband says it wasn't pink, it was salmon.

PERFECT TOGETHER by Kimberly Garofolo

I love layering with all the embellishments that American Crafts has. Using strips of paper as a border draws the viewer's eye to the subjects. I love the little colorful transparent sticker dots scattered around to add color. It's also fun to mix and match fonts with title work. These are two of my favorites! This is one of my favorite photographs of Olivia and her friend True. I found them hanging out inside this tube at the park, just chatting away. It was so cute and I LOVE the perspective the tube added in this image.

Supplies: Amy Tangerine- Yes Please: Thoughtful (35934), Remember (35925), Glimmers (35945), Currently (35924), Heart (35947), Dreamy (35947), Hello (35942), Dear Lizzy- Fabric Stickers (42268), Amy Tangerine 6 dimensional Stickers (85625), Remarks- Chipboard Stickers (42396), Amy Tangerine Remarks Accents and Phrases (42364), Thickers- Kitten Parfait (53449), Remarks Accent and Phrase (42363)

Just for Fun Guest Designer: Shannon Morgan

Guest Designer

Our Just for Fun Week Guest Designer is the talented Shannon Morgan!

Shannon M.
Short bio: My name is Shannon Morgan. I am a Great Lakes nerd girl inhabiting the South. I am a wife to Karl (who is ah-mazing), Momma Girl to Paddy, Mack, Cinna, and Meg, daughter to some great parents, and a quirky (good quirks) girl who likes to make her friends smile. I love creating, being caffeinated, reading, cartoons, animals, music, and tattoos. I love being able to share creativity with others. I also love the friendships I have found through the world of scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is a pretty much daily activity in my house and I'm lucky to have a great family who supports me. If I am not by chance scrapbooking, I can be found playing ridiculously loud music in the carline or walking with my family, probably complaining along the way about how hot it is!

How did you get started scrapbooking? I started scrapbooking, just like everyone else, when my son was born. I started out making calendars for the grandparents. It morphed into the scrap supply hoarding, excessive picture taking, Pinterest scrap pin obsessed person before you!

What is your favorite American Crafts product? My favorite American Crafts product, surprisingly, is the precision writers. I have been using them for years and they are my favorite pens. I use them on everything. They are great for writing on photos, embellishments, doodling, and outlining.
