One flower... 4 fun ways by Wendy Vecchi

I love the versatility of our chipboard products.They can be painted, papered, inked & stamped, misted & embossed.

I thought it would be fun to take the same flower and show how to easy it is to give it 4 completely different looks.

Blossoms 2 #C003

Turquoise Metallic Maya Mist #MST1156


Jewel Flower #TK984


Jewel Pin # TK022

Brown felt beaded blossom #TK980

Sealed with a kiss stamp #AS002

Other supplies:

Ranger's Jet black archival ink, distress inks in vintage photo and broken china and a blending tool.

EMBOSSED flower...

1. Insert the flowers into the embossing folder. Using the blending tool, completely ink the flowers with broken china & then lightly ink them with vintage photo.

MAYA MIST flower...

1. Mist all 3 flowers with turquoise. Allow to dry, then using archival ink, stamp the largest flower with sealed with a kiss. Stamp the medium size with the metric ruler stamp and the smallest with a background stamp.


2. Insert the jewel pin into the jewel blossom, then trim off the excess pin.

PAPERED flower...

1. Trace the flowers onto the back of the patterned paper scraps. Cut out & adhere to the flowers. Sand the edges to distress. Lightly ink with a coordinating distress ink.

INKED STAMPED flower...

1. Ink 2 large flowers with vintage photo, then stamp with coordinating background stamps. Ink the medium flower with broken china, then stamp, again with black and a coordinating stamp.

Assemble the flowers as shown, and add a scrap of chipboard between each layer to add dimension.

Now you have 4 custom embellishments which are perfect for cards, layouts or home decor items.
