Day 5: Some Color To Make You Feel Alive!!!

Roadies, it is our LAST day of sneak peeks - tomorrow we will put up the full catalog for you to ooohhh and aaahhh over. But for today, we have some more fabulousness to share with you.

Some yesterday's commenters noticed we had a Half Circle Banner Album - we didn't show that on day one but here it is now:

IMG_3579

Ahh so lovely and you caught it in action here:

6a00df3521af1488330148c7ef4063970c-800wi

This banner is a huge 4" x 8" so perfect to use as a banner or an album!

But now back to the day 5 business at hand - let's start with some of our canvas items. We took some of our lovely mini canvas banners and turned them into this:

01-118
Each of these lovelies are less than 2" wide. What an easy way to add CUTENESS to your life!!! Use them with Maya Mist or chipboard or stamps.

We also have 2 new canvas coaster albums - and ATC coaster and a heart one:

01-119

And we also turned our chipboard dress form into some Canvas Dress Form pieces:

IMG_3593
Again perfect for decorating and misting! Speaking of mists, we have some lovely new colors to share with you:

Check them all out here. All of these are metallic including:

Snow White Metallic

MST1766 - Snow White Metallic Mist

Pink Ginger Metallic

MST1769 - Pink Ginger Metallic Mist

Orange Spice Metallic

MST1770 - Orange Spice Metallic Mist

Blue Agave Metallic

MST1771 - Blue Agave Metallic Mist

Blue Slushie Metallic

MST1772 - Blue Slushie Metallic Mist

Antique Copper Metallic:

MST1767 - Antique Copper Metallic Mist

Dark Bronze Metallic:

MST1768 - Dk Bronze Metallic Mist
And in case you are wondering what they look like on chipboard:

IMG_4555

Ahh love our Maya Mists - love that you can also make them look like this on coffee filters by using water to help you make the mist look like watercolors (this was with the dark bronze metallic and blue agave metallic mists)

IMG_4531

PLUS all of our Maya Mists are changing from 2 oz bottles to 1 oz bottles - thus making it easier to add more Maya Mists to your collection!

Each one also has a color swatch on top so you can see easily what color you are working with  - how sweet is that?

  IMG_1975

Ok now onto our projects!

And in this project below - the dress form is stuffed with batting to create the 3d effect. Since our canvas is double ply you can easily do something like this!

Day 4: Yes We Still Have More (including more chances to win!)

Roadies, we are in the home stretch of our release. Today is day 4 so what should we show you today?  How about some fabulous flowers, trims and acrylics?

We are going to start off with something delicate and fabulous - what about these Alterable Vintage Lace Flowers and Blooms? They are so delicate:

12-105
But we kept them a neutral color so that you could use Maya Mist and create something fabulous like this - just wet the Vintage Lace Flowers or Blooms, mist them and rinse off the excess!

IMG_4497

We also are following this up with some Ornate Botanical Blooms in 3 color sets - each of these flowers is made with satin and organza and TOTALLY fabulous at 3" in diameter:

IMG_3702

IMG_3686

IMG_3694

Totally beauty to add to your projects!

And something totally fun some Country Gingham Posies:

Collages

Next we have our Candy Stripe Blossoms in fun colors:

01-11

But to coordinate with these, we do have matching and super soft Candy Stripe Ribbons:

01-112

Next we are bringing in 2 beautiful sets of resin flowers.

01-113

And we have our Vintage Lace Trim - in Large and Small Daisy. Use them by the foot or yard or cut them apart to use individually. Stack them or mist them. The possibilities are endless!

01-114
Like this with some Maya Mists:

IMG_4504

Or this stacked on top of each other.

IMG_4510

Next we have our satin pleat ribbon which was a hit last show - we brought them back in some pretty spring colors for flower making:

01-115
If you don't remember what you can do with this here is a simple peek at what you can do with satin pleat ribbon, glue and paper:

IMG_3816

Let's not forget the acrylic items we have - we have 3 fun things coming your way this time - what about a cool Journal Stand?

IMG_4520

And we have some mini acrylic houses and keys that coordinate with our mini chipboard ones. The acrylics keys and mini houses are the same size as their chipboard counterparts for easy mixing and matching. Note the keys below do not have their protective cover removed yet but they are both made of a high quality acrylic!

01-116

Whew, still with us? Hope so!

Now, let's get to some projects that have these fabulous products on them!

Day 3 - Sneak Peek - Trims, Stamps, Buttons and More

So we are back with some cool things that will TOTALLY inspire you to create; today we are adding a splash of color into the mix - ready to get started?

What about a look at some of our Ledger Transparencies? You can get them in white or black:

IMG_4226

IMG_4392

You can journal on them, use them as accents or cut flower shapes out of them and turn them into 3 d flowers - a totally fabulous add to your stash!

We also have 3 new colors of small organza flower trim - in colors that go with everything - white, grey and black - use it together or cut the flowers off:

IMG_2857

Ah where is the love button. We left it on the netting so that you could cut as you wanted - you can also save the netting for other uses too if you trim it off.

Next we have some Satin Pleat Edging. This trim is FABULOUS and just wait to see what you can do with it:

12-104

And we also have some beautiful large Organza Trim -  check it out:

IMG_3683

Now we also have some Zipper Trim:

IMG_3858

And we have 5 colors of this trim - you might be asking what you do with this - well how about splitting it into 2 and making these:

IMG_4413
IMG_4179
Zipper flowers 024

Can you believe each of these flowers only took 12" - 18" of one side of the Zipper Trim to make? So for a yard with 2 sides you can make at least 4 flowers! How cool is that? Yes you can cut the trim with scissors.

Now related to this trim we have some Button Jewels you will love. Check out this set of Antique Button Jewels:

IMG_3923

And we also have a set of Lustrous Button Jewels:

IMG_3933

Still with us? Well we wanted to show you some stamps coming your way - here are some sweet stamp sets we have  - these sets are each 2" x 6".

DesktopNext we have our stamp sheets (4" x 4" sheets) - do you see anything you like?

Desktop1

And we do have some of our nifty Singleton Stamps (2" x 3") - we love them all so much:

Kraft Doilie Flowers

So one of my most favorite Kraft items is our Kraft Doilies. Love them. Love the size and the designs:

Just wait til you see what you can make with them! How about some fabulous 3d flowers like this:

IMG_4119
If you can believe it you only need 5 items to make this - and one of the items is something we have coming out at CHA-W which will be ready in early February.

Here is a list:

1. Kraft doilies

2. Pearl Centers

3. Scissors

4. Adhesive

5. Our new Chipboard Doilie Flowers

Now for number 5 you might be wondering what that is - what we did is take our kraft doile shapes and turned them into chipboard for this upcoming tradeshow.

IMG_4128

These shapes allow you to turn any of the kraft doilies into kraft chipboard ones. Like this:

IMG_4132So it gives your kraft a nice dimension! But you can also use it without the kraft by just decorating them with patterned papers or mists and layering them together to create fabulous flowers (more on that in a different post soon) - for now, we are going to use them to make our kraft doilie flowers. You will need these. Trust me. And they will be here by early February.

Start off with your kraft and pearl centers. My pearl centers were adhesive til my 4 year old got a hold of them and created this pile:

IMG_4111

Next choose 3 sizes of the kraft doilies. For the bottom layer, glue a kraft doilie into a chipboard piece that corresponds to it.

Next take the middle size doilie and cut it like this:

IMG_4133

Now fold up the edges and glue it to the big doilie you had put on chipboard:

IMG_4135

You will do the same thing for the smallest doilie:

IMG_4138
Now layer them and glue in place:

Add a pearl and you are done!

IMG_4144
You can see for the middle flower how I varied it a bit by layering the smallest doilie onto chipboard. So simple.

What a pretty neat way to make some embellishments for your layouts and projects!

Enjoy!

Love Letters Mailbox

Good Monday Roadies!  The Holidays are over (whew!) and you know Valentine's Day is just around the corner.   What projects are you working on for your loved one?  I was drawn to the very sweet line by We R Memory Keepers.  I decided to take my Maya Road Airmail and turn it into my own little Love Letters Mailbox.

For the inside of the "Stamp" Mini that comes with your Mailbox I used cardstock to create a card on each page.  I left these blank so I could add notes or photos.
