Antique Pearl Center Trim Introduction
Roadies, thank you to everyone who entered our Sneak Peek Week Giveaway. We will pick a winner on February 8th, 2012 so stay tuned!
Today we wanted to introduce to you our Antique Pearl Center Trim and tell you a bit more about it.
Don't you all love this fabulous trim? You can ink it or mist it to change it to a color of your choice. Each flower has a vintage jewel and pearls surrounding it.
During the show, we did have a couple of Retailers ask us about the price on it. The retail is $8.00 a yard in the US but let us break it down for you!
Did you also know there are 16 of these fabulous over 2" wide flowers per yard? The trim is created on a fabulous netting which you can cut so that each flower is separate. For the price of a yard of trim ($8.00/ yard) you get 16 fabulous flowers. That works out to about $0.50/ flower - what a deal!
We are also offering these pre-carded to our retailers in 1/2 yard lengths and the price is retail $4.00/ card. That still works out to about $0.50/ flower. How cool is that?

Hello Roadies, it's Emily writing from CHA in Anaheim. I've been working in the Maya Road booth this week, enjoying meeting people from all over the world. It's been so much fun talking to people who love Maya Road as much as I do! I took orders today for a few people who've just discovered us, that was fun to share all my favorite products with them!
Speaking of my favorite products, I wanted to share a layout I've done for the show that features a few of my favorites, new and old. Here's the full layout, a whole bunch of flowers and a cute little photo of baby me. I have been crushing on the 1970s color palettes lately, so I decided to put them all together in a layout for the booth. I love how it turned out!
The Burlap Trim has been really hot this show, and I know why! So much fun texture, lots you can do with it. I used it a couple of different places on my layout, once as a straight trim and another place twisted into a rose. We have Burlap Roses, but I didn't have them so I made my own. Totally easy! Another favorite on this page is the mist. I have fallen in love with Fig Magenta lately, so I used it to mist the Vintage Paper Roses. See the Vintage Pearl Pin in Dark Brown poking out the top of my burlap flower? That's new too and I've taken quite a few orders for them as well!
This detail shot shows you a couple more of my favorite things. The Kraft Trinket Flag Pins have been super popular! They come in two designs and I see myself using them often. You can stamp on them, mist them, or leave them plain, such a fun little accessory to tuck onto a layout. I also misted the Vintage Lace Mums in Silver Fox with Mustard Yellow Metallic Maya Mist, the resulting flower hasbeen a big hit among our booth visitors. I love how rich the color is.
I used lots of other products, but those were my favorites. And now I'm off to bed, one more day of CHA, I need to be rested!

I love it all!!But if I must narrow my choices the burlap roses and dress form clips top my list.Wish I could go to CHA.It would be similar to the joy of a candy store as a child.
