We are so thrilled with Jane's superb talent! Here is what she had to say about the inspiration behind these marvelous crafts.

"I am really into miniature at the moment and having great fun doing lots of little projects. I have a great photo of the Lovely Graphic 45 ladies taken in Australia this year. I decide to do this project on Diane  The book is only 4 inches high and five inches wide. It sits on an Imaginarium Designs chipboard stand, slightly opened. I love the way all Graphic 45 papers work together, I used papers from the new “magic of Oz” range. I love this new line of papers. The colours are so strong and the prints are delightful. I uses a chipboard compass and fine leaves from Imaginarium designs. This balanced the heavy metal staples flower from Graphic 45 which I just love. I cut out flowers from one of the prints and layered them to give them a 3d look. I added some magical words in an Imaginarium designs frame which describe Diane (hope she doesn’t mind being thought of as “antique” meaning valuable rather than old!) I also added a crown because she is the” Queen of design” as we all know." -Jane

Supplies:
Papers from The Magic of OZ, German scrapStand, book, compass,  fine leaves and oval frame – Imaginarium designs
Staples flowers and decorative brad – Graphic 45

"For my last project I made an easel Card. I love the way these kind of cards stand up, making them a special card which can be on display rather than popped in a box or stashed in a draw. I used papers from the Magic of Oz collection for this card. I used some of graphic 45 hinges to make a flap on the front of my card. When you open the flap there is a pocket which lets you  tuck money or a gift card into. Purple and green work so well together, and isn’t funny how the meaning of words change. Wicked now means great or cool as my kids tell me. Different from when I was a kid and it meant extremely bad. So now I have a totally cool card for a  very“ wicked” teenager - Perfect." -Jane

Next we have some stunning Magic of Oz crafts by Hilde Janbroers to share with you! Hilde has created a super sweet layout and decorative banner from this playful new paper collection. Her crafts are always so heartwarming and gorgeous! Check out this amazing LO that's so full of love and vibrant detail!

"I placed a piece of paper vertical on the blue/white paper. The photo will be in the centre of the layout. On the corners of the photo I added the pearl swirls and then the chipboard frame. I cut out the images of the scarecrow and added them on the sides of the photo. As always I love to embellish, so I added some chipboards and metal hinges to decorate the page. I created the rosettes out of the papers to create perfect embellishments for the layout." -Hilde Janbroers

Next is this amazing Magic of Oz banner, also by Hilde. She is well known for her fabulous banners and this one is no exception! This banner is so gorgeous! It would look amazing in any room of the house!

"When I saw this collection I knew I was going to make a banner. I decorated each tennant with paper first and then added my embellishments. I wanted to have a tennant with the main characters of the Wizard of Oz. So together with the chipboard with the word they are looking for in the famous movie,  I thought this would be a perfect banner for a kids room! I love the colors of this collection! I added dots around the banners to highlight them. Lots of layering to create dimension. The chipboards are covered with Smooch spritz." -Hilde Janbroers

Bio

I gave up my day job some time ago and came to live in sunny Arizona with hubby “Mac“.  He is a fused glass artist and makes jewelry, masks and other beautiful things for the home. I have always enjoyed making things and giving handmade gifts. I have run the gamute when it comes to crafting with painting, sewing, jewelry making,  resin work and rubber stamping.

Moving to a retirement community with lots of activities I set out to put my family photos in albums so joined the Scrapbooks & More Club.  It should have been called Paper Crafts and Scrapbooks. We have a fantastic club with about 180 members.  We meet on Mondays and do all kinds of paper crafting.   I am embarrassed to say  my family photos are still in boxes but I have enjoyed the meetings and making some wonderful items.  I make and sell greeting cards through the club.

On one of our club “Field Trips” (shopping and lunch with the girls) we visited a shop called Mystic Paper. That was my introduction to Graphic 45 and it was LOVE at first sight.  The themes conger up so many thoughts and all the lines work with each other so well.  The fact that it is two sided is a fabulous bonus.

I love to alter things such as books, empty food containers & boxes.  A favorite pass time is to look through the garage or go to Home Depot to find something funky and fun to add to my current project.  The Good Will  Store is another place I find great treasures.  If it can be covered with paper, painted, embossed or altered in any way, it goes home with me.  Sometimes it sits in my studio for awhile but it always gets used. Hope you enjoy looking at my most recent projects - Happy Crafting - Sandy Diller

"When I started this project, I had an entirely different end result in mind but as most paper crafters know- some things just take on a life of its own.  When I first saw the previews for the “Magic of Oz” I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.  I had my book, a dictionary from Good Will,  all ready to go before the paper ever reached my doorstep. When I first started cutting into the beautiful Graphic 45 paper (which is so hard to do) the vision  started changing." -Sandy

Supplies:

"Since I long ago gave up cooking  and my husband has taken over I have found some new uses for things that once contained food.  I really liked the shape of this container that once had a meat rub in it and decided that a mini book was in order.  I have always liked clocks and use them often in my paper crafting.  This one just happen to be the perfect size to fit the Weathered Clock die from Tim Holtz." -Sandy

Supplies:

Graphic 45 papers: CORE Impressions, Fashionista, Proper Gentleman
Tim Holtz Weathered Clock Die, Grunge Board, Grunge Paper, Word Key, Baubles, Hitch Fastener, Keyhole & Foliage

Domestic Goddess Recipe File

IMG_4507

"I had previously made this project using another theme for my Dad’s birthday in May and decided  it would make a perfect recipe file. I started with a Reader’s Digest, hard cover, and folded all the pages in half, tucking the edges of the pages in the center of the book. I then covered the outside with Graphic 45 CORE Impressions and gave it a light sanding.  The inside covers are decorated with one of the g45 Domestic Goddess papers. Using the Domestic Goddess papers I made some recipe cards and simply slid them between the pages.  So easy and fun!" -Sandy

Supplies:

Reader’s Digest Hard Cover
Tim Holtz:  Metal Corners
Recipe Cards from sale bin at Michael’s
Sticker from Jolee’s

Le Cirque Wagon

IMG_4456

"This piece was pretty simple considering I started with a naked wooden circus wagon that I found at Michael’s.  After painting the bars on the cage silver the rest was a matter of covering everything with the Graphic 45 Le Cirque Paper.  When every surface that could be covered with paper was covered I simply cut a piece of chipboard with the Tim Holtz On the Edge Die for the top.  A gold Rosette with a medallion made of UTTE and a Krafty Lady Mold.  Since it worked so well on the top, the same treatment was given to the wheels.  A few painted tooth picks, some blue beads and the flags are in place.  The poor sad lion inside is from the Magic of  Oz line." -Sandy

Supplies:

"I decided to create a sketch based on my layout to share with you today.  Sketches are both easy to use and serve as a great road map for your scrapbook pages.  You can add your own unique touches to customize your design.  As soon as I see a sketch I think of the many possibilities. Give it a try!  We would love to see what you do with this sketch in the gallery at http://graphic45.ning.com.  Hope to see you there.  Be sure to use “June Mayhem Sketch” in your title….Remember, you can use the sketch with any of the beautiful Graphic 45 collections. It would be perfect with the new “The Magic of Oz” collection.” -Robin Shakoor
