Whimsical Beauty

Today on the blog Steph Devlin will be sharing a few of her beautiful projects, showing fun ways to work with Prima's patterned papers and Shabby chic resins

............................................................................

Hi friends, Steph Devlin here, just wanting to share some projects that I have been working on using the new releases from Prima Marketing.

I created this layout for the most recent CHA, using the beautiful Pixie Glen Line, and custom coloring the large Fleur De Lys flowers with Glimmermist.  I sprayed these delicate flowers with Chalkboard Mists, because I love the chalky shabby chic finish those colors give the flowers.

EnchantingHM

  • 843205 - Rose Arbor
  • 843229 - Cornwall
  • 843182 - Pyske Cuts
  • 890681 - Large Window Closers
  • 552589 - Gillian
  • 551827 - Crystal Palace
  • 550523 - Ornamental Trimmings
  • 890773 - Small Bird Resin
  • 551674 - Fleur De Lys
  • 551490 - SIIC
  • 553609 - Splendor
  • 552602 - Jardinere
  • 552442 - Coiled Pearls
  • 553319 - Coventry Roses

This second layout shows the diversity of the Printery Patterned Papers and how with a little bit of color, black can showcase beautifully any color or B&W photographs that you have.  You will find that if you use a color frame, the colors within will just seem to merge and flow onto the photo mat whereas a black frame will contain the image so it doesn't allow the eye to wander. Black also seems to that provides perfect base to showcase a pop of color - as you can see from the hybrid flowers just under the balloon.

  • 551247 - Printery Chipboard
  • 812010 - Whispered Words White Alphabet

For this third project I just grabbed a shabby chic teapot that I have have been wanting to alter for while.  (It goes perfectly with the tea & cup project I altered last month). I love finding shabby chic household items and altering them with Prima's beautiful flowers, trinkets, pearls and other findings. The stunning crown trinket was just perfect for the lid, and just seem to finish off the project.

I love playing with shapes, and the hexagon is such a interesting shape to create with. Shapes are so visually stunning grouped together in multiple numbers, and the Pixie Glen soft colors and rose images seem to balance the harshness of the lines that make up the shape of the hexagon.

A Little Halloween Style

Today on the blog Stacy Cohen will be sharing stylish Halloween projects, using Prima's newest Halloween Vines and spooky Bat embellishments.

...................................................................................................................................................

Hi everyone! Stacy Cohen here. Halloween is just a few days away, so I wanted to share a couple spooky projects I created. First up is a mask I made using some of Prima’s new Halloween goodies. A black glitter-coated mask will provide for the perfect disguise when the ghosts and goblinscome a-calling.

Halloween mask_sized

Supplies used:

  • # 553760 Bat Vine
  • # 553296 Coventry Rose
  • # 551360 Say it in Crystals
  • # 552800 Carlotta Royale
  • # 538620 Fairtytale Roses (colored with purple mist and glitter)

No witch would be properly dressed without a pair of shoes like these:

Halloween shoes sized

I made these using a paper shoe template I created a while back. You can find the tutorial and link to the template on my blog here: Stacy Cohen’s shoe template

I altered the template slightly to make these shoes a bit pointier . . . perfectly fit for a witch!

Supplies used:

  • # 841713 Paisley Road “Assam”
  • # 551360 Say it in Crystals
  • # 553548 Autumn leaves
  • # 553777 Night Flight bats

I’ll leave you with one not-so-spooky project.  Here’s a layout I made using a mix of products from different collections:

  • # 843434 Romantique Estrella

Using Prima's Flocked Rub-Ons...

The talented Karola Witczak is going to share some FABULOUS ideas for using our NEW soft and fuzzy flocked rub-ons!

........................................................................................

Hello everyone! Today I would share an idea for Prima flocked rub-ons! This is one of my favorite Prima products and I was delighted when I saw in the latest Prima release flocked rub-ons in a cream color - it's definitely something for me! I think all shabby chic delicate accessories admirers will love them!

I love to use them directly on my projects, but recently I thought it worthwhile to use them in other ways, which I want to tell. It is important that we can use not only flocked rub-ons, but also remnants of it! It sounds a bit like a "green project", so it is worth to use, I think.

In every new collection we can find flocked rub-ons - sheet full of fantastic, delicate patterns! Do not be confused with a yellow color - is the color of the adhesive layer, right side of rub-ons is a beautifuly creamy and the texture is absolutely wonderful.
  1. First using small scissors, cut out the selected patterns - this time there are small round flowers and a small twig/leaves.
  2. Then I chose a pale paper as a backdrop to my rub-ons, this is one of the Ledger paper pad.
  3. Applying flocked rub-ons is very easy - you can use the attached stick or old credit card, I discovered that well-suited to this is acrylic stamp pad.
  4. When we are sure that the pattern adheres well - carefully detach the foil surface.
  5. And now, beware! Do not throw away the rest! We can also use it in our project! This thin  foil with delicate layer of flock also is interesting! Just cut off the unnecessary excess, align the edges and ... put them on later.
I decided to make two similar tags - In first I applied right rub-ons, but applied to the extra layer of paper and adhere using 3d foam tape. In the second tag as a decoration I applied white residues.
Here are my two tags in action - first - blue one is a gentle, reminds me of the wedding or baby birth, and the second - in the warmer colors - reminds me of a beautiful wedding anniversary. Also suitable for the current autumn season.

Some Kind of Wonderful!

Today Trudi Harrison has created some gorgeous fresh designs that will simply knock your socks off!

 ......................................................................................

Hello, Trudi here today sharing some more Prima projects.
First up, a layout dedicated to my two gorgeous girls who really do make my life

 'some kind of wonderful'
Materials
  • #843434 Romantique Col. Estella
  • #843106 Londonerry Col. Parlor Games
  • #843090 Londonerry Col. Pickwick
  • #843113 Londonerry Col. Finick Finack
  • #550035 Mask
  • #551568 SIIC
  • #551575 SIIC
  • #890711 Resin - Window Frame
  • #890797 Resin - Bird Houses
  • #890728 Resin - Window Decor
  • #550073 - 8" x 10" Alphabet Stickers
  • #553548 Splendor - Autumn
  • #552633 Bretton Vines - Purity
  • #552725 Sherwood Rose - Larkspur
  • #552718 Sherwood Rose - Cottage
  • #552077 Meredith - Natural
  • #552008 Twisters - Pastel
  • #548179 Floret Collection - Mauve
  • #549008 Celebrate - Sugar Blooms Collection
  • #542764 Love Letter Roses - Lilac
  • #537814 Symphony Blend - White
  • #544430 Lace & Pearl Borders
  • Prima Packaging
  • Glimmer Mist - Graphite, Timeless Lilac & Tattered Rose

I have combined patterned papers from both the Romantique and Londonerry collections with pretty doilies that were cut from Prima acrylic packaging .
The Romantique Estella patterned paper which I have used for base is gorgeous.
I'm not sure which side I love more - the beautiful rose blooms or the soft, delicate reverse.  For this layout I have used the reverse.  The border around the edge is so pretty, and I just couldn't cover it up.
To keep it 'soft' and to add just a touch of texture and subtle border , a Prima mask was used with texture paste and then lightly misted.
A Bretton Vine has been layered with Splendor Leaves and an assortment of new and older blooms.
I also had some more 'twisty fun'.  A 'Pastel Twister' was used to create antenna's for a die cut butterfly and it's flight path.
To coordinate, I painted white alphabet stickers with glimmer mists.

.......................................................................
Next, I have a little 'love' to share with a card created for someone special.
Sweet Pixie Glen has been combined with a Vintage Treasure resin.
Materials
  • #843236 Pixie Glen Col. Dartmoor
  • #843212 Pixie Glen Col. Devon
  • #552534 Essentials 11 - Pixie Glen
  • #553319 Coventry Rose - Pixie Glen
  • #552466 Avon Rose - Pixie Glen
  • #890773 Resin - Small Birds
  • #890704 Resin - Old Church Window
  • #551711 Firefly - Tone

The resin Old Church Window sets the scene with pretty blooms added for a touch of sweetness.
The base for the card was created from a block from the Dartmoor paper - I found it the perfect size for creating a pretty card front.
........................................................................
Finally, another layout created from the Londonerry Collection.
Materials
  • #843106 Londonerry Col. Parlor Games
  • #843762 Londonerry Col. Sampler
  • #843090 Londonerry Col. Pickwick
  • #553784 Londonerry Col. Mulberry Paper
  • #843137 Londonerry Col. Courier
  • #551230 Londonerry Chipboard
  • #551650 Resistant Canvas - Londonerry
  • #553326 Coventry Rose - Londonerry
  • #552497 Avon Rose - Londonerry
  • #552510 Essentials 11 - Londonerry
  • #553234 Flower Market - Londonerry
  • ##552626 Jardinere - Londonerry
  • #552657 Bretton Vine - Script
  • #552688 Sherwood Rose - Truffle
  • #890773 Resin - Small Birds
  • #890780 Resin - Garden Fittings
  • Trim
  • Alphabet Letters

Different patterned papers from the same collection have been layered with some decorative punched edges and die cut frame incorporated to add interest and texture.
I love to cluster and layer embellishments and this time 'Resistant Canvas' from the Londonerry collection have been layered with a Bretton Script Vine, coordinating blooms and resin .  Some of the canvas elements were left 'natural' or lightly colored to add softness.
Thanks so much for dropping by the Prima blog today!

Fabulous Projects Inside!

Today we have another fabulous birthday party post from our talented designer in Japan-Maiko Kosugi! Maiko has included so many amazing projects that are perfect for a variety of themes. Enjoy!

................................................................

October is the month of my son's birthday. He became 4 years old. In my blog post this month, I would like to introduce what I made for him.

First is a flower basket made for his celebration.

1flower
2flower

After setting up oasis foam (used for flower arrangements) inside the basket, I used a lot of Prima Classics to decorate it. I just love the wires on the flowers which can move to any directions.

Since my son is still only 4 years old, he is so sweet. This is a creation that expresses his sweetness.

......................................................................
Next, I made the canvas album in commemoration of his birthday.

Now let me show you all the pages inside.

I used mask, mists, gesso for the canvas.
Of course I used a lot of flowers too. And that is a LOT of flowers!! lol

Because I wanted to use many flowers on this project, the album became considerably thick!!!

I think it kind of looks like a bouquet..... lol

Fairytale Time

Join us for a fairytale adventure Prima-style all created by our talented designer: Heidi Kelley!

...................................................................................

FairyFull

Hi friends! It's that time of year again... everywhere that I look I see enchanting colors and little ones getting caught up in the magic within the air.

Around my house, I have had 10 years of girlish, whimsy each Halloween and I think that those times are beginning to end. (My girls are beginning to enter their tweens and soon my boys will begin their dressing up journey! I am guessing that the days of butterflies, fairies, and princesses will be over, lol.) So when my youngest daughter asked me to make her into the most "beautiful of all fairies" for this year's festivities, I was extremely excited!

FairyCrop

Creating this costume could not have been easier, especially when it came to making her crown and adorning her skirt with Prima bling and blossoms!

The combination of colors that I put into making her skirt just beckoned to be paired with some of the new Prima flowers, especially the Le Coque "Windsor" flowers. I will admit to now wanting one of these crowns for myself! (I might look a tad silly, however, preggo and all, dressed up like her!)

FairyCrown

Supplies for her crown:

  • Amore "Violet" #551940
  • Meredith "Rubine" #552084
  • Le Coque "Windsor" #552831
  • Gillian "Aqua" #552985
  • Rock Candy "Ice Green" #552190
  • Crystal Palace "Pink Sugar" #551827

And, of course, with a fanchy, schmancy, fairy crown - one must have the embellishments fall onto her skirt as well!

FairySkirt

Supplies used to create her skirt:

  • Le Coque "Windsor" #552831
  • Busta Blooms "Violet" #552074
  • Gillian "Aqua" #552985

The Prima flowers from the latest release, simply put, made this fairy costume magical...  see how she twinkles?

FairySmile

A quick tip though, should you find yourself in the presence of something so adorable - you had better snap the pictures quick because this little fairy was off running, heading back to whatever enchanted place she came from...

FairyRun

Wishing you all a magical, beautiful, month. And as your tiny, little, marvels, princesses, and knights, dazzle and delight while they trick or treat all over the world, don't forget to take photographs! Oh, how this time of year can reveal their stunning personalities! ~~Heidi

Bat Crazy Fun!

Today Leslie Ashe brings us a SPOOKY fun Halloween project idea using Prima's new Trick or Treat Bats and Vines!

...................................................................................

Carving pumpkins is a fun tradition – even to college-aged girls!

My daughter {Savannah"} & her room mates, while home from college for the weekend,  wanted to go to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin to carve together.

I drove them out on a dreary rainy day to one of the BEST pumpkin patches here in our part of Texas. It’s like a little town fair...pumpkins everywhere, hayrides, yummy fall food, things to purchase...a fall dream come true!

IMG_7925

The girls looked and looked & discovered “Jack.” They even named him. They decided they wanted him to have all bat features. They giggled non-stop as they carved away. It was a lot of fun to see girls, even at age 19, have the best time together carving a pumpkin.

I just had to scrap “Jack.” He’s got “batty” eyes, a batty smile...he’s just batty cute!

Oct jackwm

When I saw bats in my Prima DT loot – I about DIED knowing how perfect “Jack” would be surrounded by them!

Jackclose1wm

Tip:  I took the original “Trick or Treats Bat Vine” and cut it up – adding in the other Trick or Treats (Harvest, Night Flight) all together in a huge collage of “batty”.

Oct jackclose2wm

It was fun adding each element. I think it tells the story of our “Jack.” (O-Lantern!)

It's a Birthday Celebration!

Today our very own Birthday Girl brings us a few amazing party-themed projects.

Let's all wish Trina a very Happy Birthday!!

....................................................................................

With it being someone's special day today **wink, wink** I decided to create a few birthday-themed projects for my Prima post this month.

Birthdays are extremely special to me. The celebration of a person for that day, the whole day, isn't much each year is it? And to celebrate properly doesn't take much time or, necessarily, money. What it does mean is thought. So here are a few ideas that might show how easy it is to make someone's day extra special.

First a hand-made card.

Image001

My sister also has her birthday in October, so I couldn't help but make something special for her. Here are a couple of close-ups.

Oct 2

Oct 3

Supplies used for this card:

  • 550097 - Alphabet Stickers
  • 890766 - Shabby Chic Resin Treasures
  • 890704 - Shabby Chic Resin Treasures
  • 843212 - Pixie Glen Devon
  • 537791 - Athena Flowers Blue Belle
  • 552688 - Sherwood Rose Truffle
  • 552466 - Avon Rose Pixie Glen
  • 930042 - Vintage Trinkets

I also like to try and wrap gifts in a special way. Although I often run out of time (don't we all?) Here are three quick and easy gift wrap ideas that don't take a lot of time....

Oct 4

These are only little boxes...so perfect for a 'tiny' something. I'm thinking some sweets, a piece of jewelery, a gift voucher, etc.

Let me tell you how I made them.

This first one is super easy, but may need some drying time.

It will take a whole sheet of patterned paper to create.

1. The first thing I did was to cut the manufacturer strip off.

2. Then I ran the whole piece of PP under my kitchen tap. EEeeeeeek. Yes, I really did!

3. Once it was wet through, I molded it around a small bowl tying a piece of string or ribbon around the middle to form a lovely flourish of paper at the top. Don't worry if it rips a little, you can either embellish over the top, or make this part of the design.

Oct5

4. Once it is dry, pop your gift inside, retie it and embellish.

Number 2:

This little box is made from a template I designed myself.

Oct 6

The measurements are on the above template. So you can measure it all out once, then put aside to use over and over again.

NOTE: I haven't put the measurements for the bottom of the gift box on the template in case you want to make yours wider than mine. However, the sides of this wee box are 4cm wide.

To cut the handle holes, I drew one piece on one side of the box, then folded the whole box up, joined the front and back together, then cut both handles out at once.

NOTE: the sides of the box are not square, but pushed in together.

Oct7

Once everything is folded, cut and glued, you can decorate.

Oct 8

Gift Box number three was made using a die.

After gluing it together, I adhered a Prima ribbon around the top 1/3, then embellished with butterflies cut from Prima PP and a Martha Stewart Punch (they were also embellished with glitter glue and beads). Easy peasy.

Oct 9

NOTE: to make it easier to open, I punched a half circle into the middle of the top of the front of the box.

Supplies used for these projects:

  • 842604 - Melody Gathering Leaves
  • 843373 - Alla-Prima Encaustic
  • 843397 - Alla-Prima Chiaro
  • 540456 - Rose Leaves
  • 546038 - Innoscence 2
  • 544447 - SIIC
  • Other: glitter glue, beads, seam binding, SU stamp and punch, ink, Fiskars circle punch.

Finally I created a LO about birthdays as a present to myself. I have gone back to ensuring there is plenty of journaling on my LO's recently as I just love looking back at the stories of our family. This one has a huge amount of journaling so I made it the feature.

  Oct 10

I've used a mix of new and old product on this page (and, in fact, on all my projects.) I just adore how Prima's products can be mixed and matched like this.

Oct 11

Supplies:

  • 843489 - Printery Emperor
  • 843403 - Romantique The Courts
  • 843755 - 12x12 Ledger
  • 842352 - Reflections Talavera
  • 921354 - Elle Collection
  • 552688 - Sherwood Rose Truffle
  • 553319 - Coventry Rose Pixie Glen
  • 553326 - Coventry Rose Londonerry
  • 890759 - Resin
  • 551438 - SIIC
  • 545260 - Reflections Rubons
  • 537395 - Alphabet Stickers
  • 547776 - Valenciennes Col Mercy
  • 553517 - Aglow Gold
  • Other: Dusty Attic Chipboard, ink

Thanks so much for joining me today. Over at my blog, I'm doing a wee giveway - it's a great day for presents! So please feel free to come on over and join in the fun right here.

Prima Package Inspiration

Marie-Nicolas Alliot shows us how she used Prima packaging for inspiration behind her amazing Fall Mini-Album! Let's jump right in:

Today, I want to show you how to recycle a package from Donna Downey iron-ons. I use them for binding my mini album. Do you want to see?

Choose four papers from the new Prima releases. Trace the outline of the packaging with a pen on the four papers and cut them out.

1

Album label 2 MN

Album label 3 MN

Cut four papers 3.75 x 12 inches and fold them in the middle.  Fold the labels in the middle too.

Album label 4 MN

Album label 5 MN

Bind the two pages together with the label page on top as shown. Round the corners of the long papers.

Album label 7 MN

Decorate your pages and after: glue pages back to back.

EX: Pages 1 and 2 are shown above. Glue the back of page 1 (on left) to the cover and glue page 2 to the back of page 3. The back of page 4 will be glued to the back of page 5. etc.

Album label 8 MN

For the spine: Cover the book covers with a paper of 3.75 x 2 inches. Bend at the locations of the arrows. Add glue on the back.

Album label 9 MN

Cut the last label in the middle and glue it on the album.

Album label 6 MN

Finish decorating!

Album label 10 MN

Here is the finished album!

Beautiful New Designs with Karola Witczak!

Today we are excited to share a few new exquisite designs by our amazing design team member, Karola!

............................................................................

Hello everyone! My name is Karola Witczak and I am so happy and honoured for being a member of Prima Design team for the 2nd year! I feeling so inspired and happy to be among these super talented girls, every each designer have a different style and today I would share with you some of my projects - totally "Karola's style".

I know that I'm known as a "pastel girl" - most of people imagine me as a etheric person who is extremely romantic and delicate. What a mistake! I LOVE pastels and muted colors only in my scrapbooking path and maybe in interiors, but I think I am a quite rock girl :)) How funny is this, huh? More about me as a person you can read in THIS post - it was my introduction last year for the Prima Design Team.
Now I will write something about my scrapbooking.

Working with Prima products is joyous. I am always so curious what we will see in the next Prima range and Prima never dissapoints me (Prima always has something very special for me!) For today I prepare a canvas mini album in my favorite birdhouse shape using lots of gorgeous Prima flowers and masks with Tattered Angels mists. It's funny, but even a year ago I didn't liked mists. I was not sure about this non-control working - splashes, dirty fingers...  - oh no, it's not for me - or so I thought! Today I laugh at this, because just try to see how much fun you can have with this technique! My mini album is the proof that even a "not-mixed-media girl" like me may have fun with mist and masks. So - if you never tried - let's do it!

~~ Rose - Birdhouse Mini Album ~~
I created a "brick wall" look outside this house and on inside "walls" - I used Prima Brick Wall Mask and Ranger distress ink. Love this look - pretty easy and what a nice effect - perfect for this album shape!
For every page of this album I used different 6 x 6, and 8 x 8, Prima masks and used two Tattered Angels mists:  Glimmer Cherub Pink and Chalkboard Cornflower.
I colored (using mists) a few of the white Ceylon flowers - this is what I love in Prima products - you can change it's color and change it's look in every way!
Products used:
  • Canvas bird house album # 542313
  • 8 x 8 Mask # 550004
  • 8 x 8 Mask # 545574
  • 6 x 6 Mask # 882051
  • Toggle wood buttons # 550431
  • Fleur De Lys flowers # 551674
  • Fleur De Lys flowers # 551698
  • Meredith flowers # 552114
  • Solitaire flowers # 552268
  • Cartier flowers # 553357
  • Be Charmed flowers # 553395
  • Allure flowers # 553104
  • Ceylon flowers # 552893
  • Bretton Vines - Chronicle # 552671
  • Tweet Vine - Quail Tendrills # 553722
  • Tweet Vine - Quail Glow # 553739
  • Splendor leaves # 553586
A few tips for those who would a try make a similiar album:
  • for gluing on the canvas album I always use a hot glue gun. This is the safest and quickest way.
  • before I start using mists on the next page - always carefully dry the previous.
  • if you want to use scrapbooking paper in this kind of album - try sewing it on. It would look perfect with machine (or hand) stitching.
My other project is a dedication for those of you who are being sick, have flu, rhinitis or cough. Here in Poland fall has begun and the weather is very variable - sometimes it is hot, another day is rain and it is really easy for catch an infection. I created a set of gifts for a friend struggling with the disease recently. This is a card with wishes for recovery and ... a small wooden tissue box - perfect or alter. To create this project I used Pixie Glen collection - sweet, pastel, elegant - great for this occasion :)

~~ Get Well Soon - gift set ~~
Products used:
  • Pixie Glen - Rose Arbor paper # 843205
  • Gillian flowers # 552992
  • Parchment Petals flowers - Vintage # 551971
  • Coventry Rose flowers - Printery # 553296
A few tips for using pastel papers:
  • when we use very pale and pastel papers, unfortunately, it happens that they easily blend into a background. You can then ink the edges of each paper element with brown or black ink to highlight those elements which you want
  • layers are the best friends with pastel collections. You can ink, tear, distress and sew your layers to make your page as rich and dimensional as can be - this is great contrast with muted and monochromatic colors.
  • for pastel papers I usually use b&w or sephia photos - it looks gorgeous together and as you know - b&w photos make it possibile to work with any color, even an unusual color palette.

For the end I have a small, but sunny card. Used here very warm and stunning Romantique collection. Because of the autumn palette of colors in this line I am sure that you will love it for your fall memories. I love making shaped cards (as you can see in the above and below projects.) My idea for this "Just Because" card was: a few warm colors, few gorgeous flowers and a few layers:

~~ Just Because - card ~~
Products used:
  • Romantique - Ha' Penny paper # 843465
  • Alla Prima - Composition paper # 843335
  • Solitaire # 552282
  • Coventry Rose - Romantique # 553302
And that's all from me today. I hope you will like my projects and my tips will be helpful. Thank you so much for letting me share a few words about me and a few my latest projects :) I will be happy when you visit my blog too. Have a wonderful day!

Gorgeous Designs with Stacey Young!

Today we have some fabulous projects by the super talented Stacey Young! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

....................................................................................

Hi everyone, I have a few layouts to share with you today, featuring the new collections.  ~Stacey

The first one is using the very adorable Pixie Glen collection. This line is perfect for my baby boy! In this layout, I have created a garden effect around my photo. I have used the Resin Pillars as a base with my vines entwined around them. I love that in this collection there are lots of lovely rose clusters that can be cut out, I have adhered these with foam tape around my photo to add to the layers.

Oct 1

I gave my little Vintage Trinket a coat of Gesso to add to the shabby feel of the layout.

Oct 2

Product list:

#843229 "Cornwall"
#843182 "Pyske Cuts"
#843236 "Dartmoor"
#843199 "Chip-a-twitter"
#552602 Jardinere
#552466 Avon Rose

#549121 Flowered Tendrils - Lemon
#551612 Resist Canvas
#550097 Typography
#551414 SIIC
#552732 Carlotta - Ivory
#553296 Coventry Rose
#890674 Shabby Chic Resin Roman Pillars
#890698 Shabby Chic Treasures Window Closers

My second layout is also using the Pixie Glen collection. I have masked and painted my background with an aqua to make the layout pop. I just had to add in the cute birds nest to represent my 3 boys with the 3 tiny eggs.

Product list:

#843205 "Rose Arbor"

#551841 Crystal Palace
#552008 Twisters
#553616 Vermont
#552879 Cradle
#553050 Bristo Blooms

My last layout that I am sharing today is using the Alla Prima collection. There is something about this collection that just screams "beachy" to me. The colours are just so fresh. To get the painted effect in the background I started by scraping some Gesso, without allowing it to dry I then flicked on some alcohol ink. I always love to use a vine as my base for my flower clusters. They are a great starting point and I always cut them up and use in pieces.

?

Oct 5

I did a little bit of fussy cutting to add to the flower cluster down the middle of the page.
