Today is the last day of April and we thought we would end it with a bang. We have a few projects that will blow you away, flowers that will entice you, and designs that will encourage you to create.
........................................................................
This precious layout was created by Maiko Kosugi. Her layers support her stunning photo. Maiko uses soft color tones so that her photo isn't over powered by the pages.
Supplies
Emeline Seet has created this awe inspiring scrapbook page. Emiline nestles her lovely black and white photo in a bed of prima flowers. Here is just a bit about Emiline's colors:
Supplies
This burst of color was dreamt up by Steph Devlin. She brings this rainbow full of Prima on a soft white background. Here is what Steph said about her outstanding project.
For me, color is such an integral part of my creative psyche, what better way of featuring Prima's beautiful blooms than through a high intensity color spectrum. I love rainbows and this presented me with the perfect excuse to dive into my plentiful stash and play with color. I wanted the color of the flowers to seep into the paper somehow, so I just used high pigmented paint and overlapped the core hues. By doing this, secondary color revealed itself, giving even more dimension to the project. (And an excuse for me to use MORE flowers).I used a clean neutral white base as a frame for the spectrum of flowers and added a lot of punching as texture to play off of the different surfaces and textures of the blooms. The trinkets extended the heart's line and hopefully balanced the heaviness of the design at the top of the layout with the bottom title.
Supplies
The icing on the end of the month is this topiary created by Anne Jo Lexander. She uses a variety of Charme roses to design this bundle of color. Here is info from Anne Jo about her beautiful center piece.
I love how this center table piece turned out! The mix between the larger roses in the Coventry Garden and the smaller roses in the Charme rose and Avon rose-lines yields the perfect rose tree! Big plus that the colors and patterns in Nature Garden, Almanac, Pixie Glen and Printery mixes well together. And notice the "ground" - it is covered with gillian-flowers.

Happy Friday everyone! We have some wonderful layouts to share with you today, as well as some of our gorgeous flowers. We love seeing the variety of styles in our Design Team's work and we hope that they inspire each one of you.
............................................................................
This enchanting page was artistically assembled by Stacey Young. She uses a variety of Prima embellishments to design her layers. Here is what she said about creating her page...
"I love working with flowers, layering them, altering them. My layout started out with the metal fence. I wanted it to look like the fence was open and you were stepping into my garden. I wrapped and twisted a vine around the fence and layered the flowers underneath and up my page. I choose flowers in coordinating colours to match the Pixie Glen line I used. The new flowers worked perfectly with this range. That is what I love about Prima, you can mix and match everything from all different collections and releases!"
Trina McClune created this fresh crisp design. Her scrapbook page is full of flowers that trail across the page creating the perfect nest for her photos. Here are a few tip from Trina on how she created her page...

Janine Koczwara has created this eye-catching masterpiece, using the Nature Garden collection and Showcases the Cherise flowers.

We can't get enough of this cheerful collection. The Doodle-Deux paper line is full of bold color and original design. This line can be used for a wide variety of themes.
We hope you enjoy this line as much as our design team has. Take a look at what our talented designers have brought us.
...............................................................
Anna Dabrowska created this fun, joyful layout. Here is what she has to say about how she finds the Doodle-Deux collection inspiring.
The Doodel Deux collection is full of good emotions, color, and fun! I loved this optimistic collection from first sight - bold design, interesting color palette - it made my want to play and try something light and energetic. To create the background for this layout I used my set of PanPastels and a mask with pattern of simple circles and some paint, which was splashed randomly on the plain white background. Wonderful Doodle Deux chipboards helped me to build dimension and stamps - to add some "extra touch" to this scrapbook page. I was also positively surprised how nicely these colors go with the color of natural canvas banners - cute little embellishments from Donna Downey
collection!
Supplies
Trudi Harrison has brought us this die-cut masterpiece. she uses the chipboard pieces to help accent her page.
I had lots of fun with die cutting and circles. Chipboard pieces and some hand cut flowers from a note card highlight the photos. The hand cut elements and photos were attached with foam tape to add dimension.
Janine Koczwara brings us this delightful cheeky page full of Doodle-Deux. She uses the papers designs to add layers upon layers to her wonderful page.

One of the mid-release collection we have released this month is the Yuki Collection. This joyful, girlie line is just waiting to be designed with. It's happy little girls and perfect pets want to grace your scrapbook pages.
Here are a few pages that show how fun this line truly is!
...............................................................
Stacy Cohen has designed this beautiful layout using the new Yuki collection. She uses the patterned papers to draw your attention across the page. Her cluster of flowers in the center of the page draws your eye to her wonderful garden photos. Here is a little bit from Stacy on working with yuki collection.
I just adore the bright, happy colors and patterns of the new Yuki collection. I thought these cheerful papers would be perfect for a layout showcasing photos of my daughter planting flowers in the spring. I added one of Prima’s lovely mid-release butterflies.
Supplies:
Anne Jo Lexander combines two of our mid-releases to create this charming page. She combines the colors of the Doodle-Deux and Yuki collections with ease. Here is how Anne Jo felt about using the inspiring collection.
I love how both the Yuki and the Doodle Deux collection can be mixed with great results! Here I used the Doodle Deux collection as an contrasting accent, and let the Yuki papers take main stage. And spot that little flower stamp on the little tag-pennant? Comes from my favorite Yuki stamp set!
Supplies
This bright joyful page was created by Steph Devlin. She uses an abundance of color to highlight her black and white photo. Steph makes the perfect girl page using the enchanting Yuki papers.

Happy Monday!!! We have three new projects to share with you today, each one showcasing a specific flower and unique ways when using them.
ºººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººººº
Maiko Kosugi has created this amazing burlap piece. She uses Prima's brick mask with art medium to build dimension onto her background. She embellishes her page with an abundance of the cozy Sassy flowers, and rich Fabrique blooms. A heartwarming piece destined to grace the walls of her home for years to come.
Supplies
Hege Lundquist brought us this springtime bouquet and showcases the Charlotte flowers well on her layout. She uses Prima's flowers to mimic the tiny bouquet that her little girl had collected. To add an extra touch to her page, Hege hand stitched around her photos.
Supplies
Here is a little bit from Heidi Kelley about how she came, to design this artistic canvas: As an artist, when I look at my daughters, I am sometimes thrown into a world of whimsy. I see them sitting in gardens, catching butterflies, with flowers pinned all haphazardly in their hair. That was the inspiration behind this canvas. I love to layer my daughters hair within projects, to create the true essence of what I see on a daily basis, and then add all the magic in with flowers, bits and baubles. Using the little Charme Roses from Prima works perfectly for this! I can layer them, slide them under locks of hair, and combine different colors for a beautiful and not-overwhelming-the-photo kind of way!

Today we have a few stunning projects, showcasing Prima's amazing flowers. Each designer will give you tips on how they came about their project.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
First we would like to show you this adorable Home Decor piece. Trudi Harrison created this pieces for her home by using fabric and designing this elegant heart. She then stuffed the pattern with stuffing. She embellished the front with an assortment of flowers, vintage trinkets, and Prima Packaging. Her finishing touch was the perfect little tassel to dress up this happy little heart.
Supplies
Leslie Ashe shares with us this handsome page of her son. She uses Prima flowers to frame out her photo. Here are a few steps on how she designed her shape.
1. pick your supplies (picture, papers, flowers, letters, etc..)
Supplies
Last we have this Steampunk Styled bag created by Anna Dabrowska. Here are the steps she took to design this stylish handbag.
With Prima Ruby Violet Embellishments and DIY Necklace collection
altering is simple, easy and fun. This flea market bad inspired me to
play with embellishments I found in Ruby Violet kits and my set of
alarm clock gears to create a steam punk in style, unique handbag.
Metalique Iron flowers and genie stones were just perfect and on to my
project.... and here is how I made it:
1. I cleaned the old flea market bag carefully to get better
stickiness for my project. I prepared the hot glue gun a small piece of organza ribbon and a piece of vintage, elegant lace. I gathered some old alarm clock elements and a set of Prima embellishments.
2. Using a hot glue gun I stuck the lace around the bag - just like a"belt". I added first embellishments from Ruby Violet sets: bigger metal elements including metal stems and leaves. Using the same glue I placed a bow made of a piece of organza ribbon.
3. I continued with composition adding Metalique Iron flowers and clock gears. I stuck the biggest plastic flower and a large metal button. I also added Genie Stones - some using hot glue gun and some with little metal rings, which I hung on the chain handle of the handbag.
4. My last and final step was adding crystals and large crystal swirl, which I cut into pieces to fill the "gaps" in the composition. After these "touches" this elegant project was ready to go! Try it yourself - it is fun, easy and inspiring!
Here are a few flowers featured onto today's Flower Feature.

Creating The Perfect Place for Those Large Flowers
Happy Monday everyone. We hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday weekend. Today to start off a new week we would like to share with you a informative flower feature by Marie-Nicolas Alliot. She gives you some tips when using Prima's larger flowers.
................................................................................
It may not always be easy to find that perfect spot for those larger flowers. Especially if you like a more clean look like I do. Here's an idea to put flowers on a page by adjusting volume and simplicity.
Alter your background with inks, sprays, or Panpastels to your liking. Place the patterned papers on your page that you would like under the photo mat paper and out line the placement of your photo mat piece with a pencil.
Lift the photo mat paper piece away. Then place your Prima flowers so that they will ultimately be partially under your photo mat paper. This will allow you to use the large flowers without them over powering your page.
To finish your page use 3D foam squares to add your photo mat and photo. Add finishing touches with stamps and a glittery title.
