I was playing around with making some tags and painting with my watercolors.  Then a put on some cards.  That was fun playing around with this idea.  Here are a few of them.

Mother's Day Card 2010

Well, I finally got most of my Mother's Day card done.  They are all so unique and floral.  Love how they turned out.  Plus I got to use two of my favorite brands - Prima and Webster's Pages.  Love the WP bloomers.  That is such a unique ribbon and gives such a soft beautiful touch.

I have a few more to make but I am pleased with what I have done so far. Here are a few of the cards and a sample of the inside message.

Finally Spring Cards 2

I am so glad I finished my Spring cards and most will be mailed this week.  Yeah!  I finished the paintings and outside of the cards but still had to do the inside.  I wanted to add a picture of myself and these pretty cards.  Plus my letter to my family and friends.  They turned out so nice.

Usually my cards are so bulky with embellishments so it was nice to try some simplier styles.  Since I am still painting, maybe  I will still use a few more pictures on some cards for Spring or whenever.  This was so fun and I hope to keep playing around with my art and scrap ideas for some more fun cards.

Finally Spring Cards

I am so excited to finally finish some of my Spring cards.  I hoped to use my Prima line but I will save that for Mother's Day.  But I had started painting with watercolors and wanted to use them as the covers of my cards.  I kept playing around with the layouts and finally got something I am happy with.  I love these painted pictures.  They feel so light and happy like Spring.  Then I used some colorful paper as the insides.  So pretty!

As I send them out, I will personalize them with a printed or handwritten note.  My family and friends will love these!   So excited!

Here are a few of them.  I hope to upload several in my gallery.  Look out for them.

Spring ideas 2010

Just got my Two Peas order yesterday.  I ordered lots of Prima Marketing products.  I love the new flowers, papers and rhinestone/pearl sticker embellishments.  Then today I went to the craft store to get some pretty ribbon and extra stuff to add to my collection.

Love the sky blue with spring pastels.  The Prima flowers I ordered are so lovely.  I can't wait to use these flowers for my cards.  I will post some of the cards when I finish them.  Fun !!!

Valentine Cards 2010

I had so much fun creating my 2010 Valentine's Cards.  I went with pastel pink, hot pink and black.  I wanted them to look like sexy, glamours cards.  I used flock and glitter patterns.  They came out so pretty.  Then my husband contributed a love poem for the inside along with our greeting.  So nice!

I used Martha Steward puncher, Doodlebug papers and American Craft Thickers letters in black glitter.  That puncher was so great.  I was punching up a storm.

Valentine Cards

Just finished several gorgous valentine cards for 2010.  My colors were shades of pink and black.  They are all different shaped cards and personality.  I will post soon some samples of my work.  But I was thinking about last years cards.  They were very nice, too.  My colors were red and black.  I wanted to make sexy cards full of glamour and style.

Then the inside I did a french theme with pic of the Ifile Tower and french words.  For my close family, I did a booklet of family love stories with a pic of all of our weddings or event.  It was all done in white and black.  Stunning!

I will post pics of these 2009 creations when I find them.

2010 Card Ideas

I love creating elegant cards with unique and feminine designs. For the holidays I decided to go with purple and silver for my design colors. They turned out beautiful.

So now the 2010, I just finished some winter white and cream colored cards. I love Doodlebug papers, so I used the white glitter style and another brand for the cream. I also used feathers and wide satin ribbon. Then for a touch of color, I glittered and embossed chipboard letters to use as a name initial for each card. Gorgous!

Feb. 14, I am planning some special cards. Still getting ideas together! But having fun thinking about it.
