Product Spotlight: Happy Together Tags & Titles
All of our tag books include 12 original designs perfect for adding
titles, journaling, and sentiments to your scrapbook projects. Each
package includes 12 designs - one card of each design.
Our Family is One of a Kind by Jodi Sanford
Jodi, owner and founder of Fancy Pants Designs, cleverly used one of the tags to complete her title. I love how she broke up her title by placing part of it above her focal photo and the rest below the photo. Jodi also dressed up the tag by adding a heart, button and a touch of trim to it. Don't you just love these photos of the Sanford family? Especially the focal photo where their newest little cutie is the center of it all! Adorable!
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to come back for Monday's Fancy This project by Amy Peterman!

Hi Everyone. I’m Ronda and I have a fun little post today on creating a Fall Wreath. I wanted to add a twist to the traditional fall colors so I popped in some lime green to the yellows, oranges, & reds of the It’s Your Day line. Yep, I used a birthday celebration line to make a Fall Wreath. That’s what is great about Fancy Pants lines, so versatile.
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. I am ready to start decorating for Fall!

Supplies:
Artist Edition 12 x 12 Notebook
8x8 Half Bracket Mixed Media Book
Fancy Pants Chipboard, Brads, Buttons & Felt Shapes
It's Your Day: Live it Up paper
It's Your Day: RSVP paper
wooden box
acrylic paint (two contrasting colors)
crackle medium
sealer
liquid glue
hot glue gun
Note: I found a wooden box at Hobby Lobby to decorate, but you could use a metal or chipboard box as well. Choosing one with a handle is nice for easy portability.
Instructions:
1. Remove hardware from box. Lightly sand box if needed.
2. Paint portions of the box that won't be covered with patterned paper. Let dry.
3. Apply crackle medium. I applied it to just the bottom outside of the box. For bigger cracks use a thick coat of crackle medium, for smaller cracks a thin coat. Let dry.
4. Add paint over dried crackle medium in a contrasting color. Cracks will appear as the paint dries.
5. Add papers to box with liquid glue.
6. Apply sealer over the entire box, inside and out, including the portions covered with patterned paper. This will protect the box and papers as well as help the papers to stay in place.
7. Trim acrylic page (from Half Bracket Mixed Media book) to fit inside the box lid. This will serve as a dry erase board inside the box. Glue in place. Accent with a chipboard strip covered with pattered paper and ribbon.
8. Trim felt page (from Half Bracket Mixed Media book) to fit front of box. Machine stitch around felt. Decorate felt with chipboard letters and felt shapes. Use hot glue to adhere felt page to box front.9. Reattach hardware to box.
10. Fill box with homework supplies, and don't forget a dry erase marker for the mini dry erase board.
My son loves his Homework Kit and I'm sure he'll get a lot of mileage out of it! Happy New School Year everyone!
