Cards by Alice

It's that time of year again!  Time to get those holiday cards done and sent out before the holiday hussle begins.  Today I have 3 cards to share with you starting with Peace, Love & Joy by Basics 101.

Peace love joy
This cute collection is only available as a 6X6 Mini Paper Pad. It has everything you need in a mini collection for card making.

Believe card

Believe
I started by embossing my card base and layering two of the patterns from the 6x6 mini pad called Peace, Love & Joy.  Using a tree die cut I used 3 more patterns from the same mini pad and glittered the trees to give it life.  I stamped a few stars and added some fun Glittered Foam letter stickers from Creative Imaginations.  Finished it off with a lime green ribon to match the fun bright colors in the Peace Love & Joy collection.

Believe-CU
Supplies I used:

Peace Love & Joy 6x6 Mini Paper Pad

Fun Times, Glittered Foam Alphabet Stickers

For my next card I used Teri Martin's Tidings of Joy

6a00d83495455153ef014e8abe62e4970d-320wi

This collections has four double sided patterns, 12x12 sticker sheet and a 5x12 cardstock sticker sheet.  I really like the colors in this collection, perfect for a vintage feel with a modern twist!  There's lots of room to create the perfect look with the right color palette.

Merry Christmas card

Merry-Christmas

I used the reindeer as my center piece for this card by adding NEW Glitter Flourish Stickers as my antlers. Then I picked two patterns from the Tidings of Joy collection to use as my background and finished the card with the Merry Christmas sticker from the 12x12 sticker sheet.

SJZ_ci-28915_0

I pulled off one of the flourish patterns to use as antlers for my deer.  It really added some glamour to my card.  My picture really doesn't show how sparkly the stickers are, but they are very sparkly in person.

Merry-Christmas-CU
Supplies I used:

Tidings of Joy by Teri Martin

Glitter Flourish Stickers

My last card today was made using our NEW Paint It with Luminarte by Marah Johnson.

Merry card

Merry
Marah Johnson
has difinately created some awesome papers in this collection.  I just adore how you can paint with Twinkling H2O's and turn the paper into something entirely different.

Merry-CU
Using theTwinking H2O Ultmiate Romance pack I colored using Monarch Allegro, Monarch Trefoil Foil Paper and Monarch Brocade Varnish Paper.  I cut them into squares and mounted them on black cardstock.  Then I layered it onto Monarch Define Paper.  I added trim and some snowflake stickers from Teri Martin's Tidings of Joy.

Supplies I used:

Twinkling H2O, Ultimate Romance Pack

Marah Johnson Paint it with Luminarte Monarch, Allegro, Trefoil, Brocade Varnish and Define

Teri Martin's Tidings of Joy 12x12 Sticker Sheet

Thanks for visiting today!  We hope you got some inspiration from our card feature and please do share with us what you made using Creative Imaginations paper.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello! Jenn here, I just wanted to share a project with you that I created last weekend while my girlfriends were down for a crafty weekend, one thing I am very grateful for.

I saw this lil mini book over on Lisa's blog, and I knew I just had to create one. I was having so much fun with all the Harvest papers, stickers and embellishments I decided to create a card too. I can't wait to give it to my good friend Melyssa, for having me with her family on Thanksgiving.

IMG_0152
The mini book is created just using a sheet and 1/2 of 8.5x11 kraft cardstock, the directions are on Lisa's blog here. I then embellished it using the 6x6 Orchard Harvest paper pad, stickers, diecuts and some other little embellishments.

I plan on listing some of the things I am grateful for on the inner pages.

And for the card I created, I used some more of the Orchard Harvest 6x6 pad, and diecuts. I just love how this turned out! (a full supply list is below)
I hope you all have a very nice Thanksgiving, what are you grateful for?

Think Pink/Unity/Bazzill

I am so thankful that Creative Imaginations has teamed up with manufacters to fight cancer!  This week we are featuring CI Think Pink Luminarte , Unity Stamps and Bazzill Basics are all teaming up to support cancer research.  I made this elegant, uplifting card using all three of these products.

Unity Stamp Think Pink card 350

First I took the Marah Johnson's beautiful Unity bird stamp and used the Luminarte Good News Green (Think Pink) H2O collection to stamp the bird on white bazzill cardstock.  I love how the paint added dimension to the stamp.  I also took the Bazzill Basics Cancer Awareness glazed ribbon cardstock and used some Luminarte Hopeful Honeysuckle paints to add color to it.  The Bazzill glazed cardstocks are just so easy to paint.  The beautiful Bazzill cancer word paper made the perfect background for my card.   It's such a hope to know that so many companies are putting their money and effort into helping fight cancer.

Embracing Hope - team up with two companies to find a cure!

Hey there, it's Tanisha here with a project that demonstrates just how easy it is to combine products from 3 fabulous companies: Creative Imaginations Think Pink Luminarte, Bazzill Cancer Awareness Glazed Cardstock, and Unity Stamps.

I created this card by cutting 1 1/2" squares from 2 different sheets of glazed cardstock.  I painted each square with one of the pink hues from the Luminarte Twinkling H2Os Think Pink kit.  The glaze acts as a resist and allows the ribbons to pop against any added color.  I adhered the squares to the card base and then stitched around them to create a quilt.

I painted the ribbon from Unity Stamps Embracing Hope kit and painted it with Luv-U-Pink Twinkling H2Os, then stamped on pink Bazzill cardstock.  I trimmed around the ribbon, lightly spritzed with Apple Blossom Luminarte Shimmering Spray, added penwork and then adhered to the card using foam adhesive.  I stamped the title, also from the Embracing Hope kit, onto pink Bazzill, trimmed and adhered with foam adhesive.

We are excited to announce our final winner of our week long blog hop with Unity I have this stamp set on the way right now!  LOVE this card and a big fan of Twinkling H20's! ~ Marilyn Nimmo!  Huge Congratulations Marilyn!  Drop me an email to Ceeangels@aol.com with your address so we can get your prize package out to you right away!

Hello there!  This is Alicia and I'm thrilled to showcase some of the fabulous Unity stamps today.  Unity stamps are just so easy to use and I'm going to demonstrate the versatility of two of their collections today.  I'm starting off with a fun card I made using the Samantha Walker Saddle Up stamps.  I used the Samantha Walker A to Z blackboard paper for a background and then stamped the cute cowboy boots on the background.  I added some "Howdy" greetings.   I then took the adorable cowboy hat stamp and stamped three of those and colored them in 3 different colors with the Luminarte paints.  That's what I like about Unity stamps - you can use ink and paint on them for a variations of effects.  Didn't this card turn out cute?

Unity card 2 350

Now, check out this completely different card I created.  I love how so many of the Unity stamp collections match the Creative Imaginations papers.  On this card, I matched the IOD Looloah collection with the IOD Loolah stamps that match perfectly.  I took that cute little lady bug stamp and stamped my background paper.  I then colored the lady bug stamps in with Luminarte paint.    I made a journaling block with the beautiful IOD papers and stamped my greeting "This is the life".   The florals and leaves in this collection added more dimension to my card around the journaling block.  I love how pretty this collection is with the added stamps.

Unity Love...

...And peace.  Not to mention fun, fun, fun!  I just loved playing with this stamp set!  I paired the giant peace sign up with some of my favorite Twinkling H20 colors, and the very tie-dyed feel of Christine Adolph's "Boho Boy" collection and I just fell in love with the way they all just meshed seamlessly into this fun card:

Live Love Peace Card

The twinks play so well with the rubber of the unity stamps, the images look like they were stamped by a pro every time!

And today is friday - time for another blog hop winner of a Unity Stamp set!

Congratulations to Becky D "This is just gorgeous!  This is one of my favorite Unity sets and I love IOD!  Painted with Twinkling H20s makes these images even more beautiful!  Thanks for sharing this creation!" Please send me your shipping address to: Ceeangels@aol.com

Creative Imaginations and Unity Blog Hop Week

I am excited to kick off our blog hop with Creative Imaginations and Unity stamps.  These two teams have joined up to bring you collections from your favorite Creative Imagintions collections and Unity.  Today I'm going to use IOD's Devotion line from Creative Imaginations and Love Never Fails stamps from Unity.

Unity

Devotion

I used the Devotion collection as my back drop paper mixed with some Dot and Stripe paper from the Cool collection, both collections available in 6x6 paper pads.  Stamped my images from the Love Never Fails stamp set using the flower image and colored the flowers in with the Ultimate Carnival H2O pack.

Devotion-CU
I loved how I could stamp the images on to pattern paper and color it in with H2Os.  You still get the same effect if you used plain white paper, but the pattern paper makes it more interesting.  Don't you agree?

Supplies I used:

29011-Devotion SS 6x6 Paper Pad

29020 Dots and Stripes Cool DS 6x6 Paper Pad

28411 Ultimate Carnivale Twinkling H2O Pack

Love Never Fails stamps from Unity

Be sure to post a comment and you could be a winner of some beautiful Unity Stamps!  Be sure to hop on over to the Unity Blog for a chance to win another prize!

Thanks for visiting and check back daily.  Our Creative Design Team is here all week to share their projects!

Hey everyone!!! We want your Artist Trading Cards!! :) There are more details here, but more importantly... ATC's are quick and easy to make... the only rule is 2.5x3.5.... just sit down and PLAY!!!

One little trick on this ATC is I altered some stickers to fit my project by creating "word fetti" to read : "anything is possible" you can see i got these words from the circle sticker on the 12x12 sticker sheet below.

I hope my ATC inspires you... You can see some more of my ATC's here

ATC Challenge

It's ATC week here on the blog and I for one had more fun creating this little ditty than I thought I would.  You see, this is my very first ATC.  Before now, the mere thought of creating something so small really intimidated me because I didn't think I would be able to express my style in such a small space.  That's the great part about challenges, right... to get us out of our comfort zones. The end result-- I really like the way my ATC turend out.

So, I hope you'll join us this week and create an ATC or two!!

My first ATC card!

Hi...Alicia here! I have never made an ATC card before and I had so much fun playing with this.  I can see why ATC cards are catching on like wildfire.

ATC Card 350

I played around with the Paint-it Papers as a background for my painting, and then I took the Nature stencil kit and used some Twinkling H2o's to make my own flowers, and then I added the IOD Loolah epoxies.  Some wonderful May arts ribbon added more dimension and texture to my card.  This was so much fun!

ATC Challenge Week

Hope you have been enjoying our ATC Challenge Week here on the Creative Imaginations blog.  We have lots of techniques and ideas to share so check back everyday for something new and creative.

Today I am sharing my version of what I like to do with ATCs.

Flower
I love texture on my ATCs so I use a lot of different techniques.  First up, I used Twinkling H2O's to create my back drop by mixing and blending different colors.  Next I used a stamped image to add some texture.  Then I stiched a stem, added a rolled up flower and tulle as my leaf.

Flower-CU
I also used my Luminarte misters to finish off my card for more shimmer and sparkle.

Supplies I used:

Twinkling H2Os

26358 Petite Twinkling H20 Kiwi

26353 Petite Twinkling H20 Mediterranean Blue

26422 Spritzer Bottle

26400 Solar Gold

Creative Imagination Signature Collection Paper

26019 Sunbeam

Thanks for visiting today and don't forget to come back tomorrow for more ATCs ideas!

ATC Love!

I'm not gonna lie.  When I saw the ATC challenge posted a couple of weeks ago I thought to myself "oh no".  I am a scrapbooker plain and simple.  I don't do mixed media, home decor...or even hybrid.  ATC's with all their media options are just way outside my comfort zone.

So of course I had to try one.

And wow, what a blast!  Of course with so many awesome Creative Imaginations products at my fingertips, it was hard to go wrong!  So without further ado, I am honored to share with you my very first ATC ever:

Hope it provides a little inspiration!  Hope to see yours at CHA!

ATC Challenge Week

Hello Everyone, Lynn here with some ATC Cards using Luminarte Paints and Paint It Papers. I must admit - these were my first EVER ATC Cards and initially I was quite challenged by the challenge. I have never created any project on a canvas this small. After much procrastinating I decided to treat each card as a small mixed media canvas and it came together quite nicely. I came up with this idea one night when I couldn't get to sleep and started in on it the next day. I've been on a "bird" kick lately and definitely on a mixed media kick so I treated each ATC card like a larger canvas. I paper collaged each card with papers from IOD's Devotion collection using the 6x6 paper pads. I then covered the card with a light coat of translucent white paint. I stamped on the painted background and added some rub-ons. I wondered how Luminarte Radiant Rain would mix with modeling paste ... so I experimented. This is how I created the dimensional branches ... (if you click on this photo you will really seen the dimension)

IMG_0254
The birdies were traced onto Paint It Paper and then covered with Olive Vine Twinkling H20's - one of my go-to colors. I then inked the edges for more definition and added a wing - from the opposite side of the Paint It paper.

IMG_0258
For the center card I crunched little pieces of tissue paper to fill a small chipboard heart and dabbed it with Poppy Red Twinkling H20's...

 IMG_0259

Here are the pieces together ...

IMG_0261

I hope you are enjoying the ATC Challenge and we would LOVE to see your creations! Stay tuned for more ATC inspiration this week right here on the blog!!

ATC Challenge Week

Hi there, it's Eva here today.  This week, we are showcasing some fun ATC's.  Our design team decided to try our hands out with ATC's, as they are the craze and boy, they are sure fun to make.  I like to play with stamps and I love to play with Luminarte and stamps, so for me, this was such an easy task to do.  Let me show you what I made.

I used the Unity October Kit of the Month to create this little ATC, as I just loved all the images for it. I also got to play with the brand new Think Pink Luminarte Twinkling Petite set.   And on top of using Luminarte Twinkling H2O's, I also incorporated Marah Johnson's Silver Dresden borders, which in my mind are just perfect for ATC's.  Hope you like what you see.

Here is the list of Creative Imaginations products I used to create this ATC.
