New Boho Baby Girl 6x6 Pads

Boho Baby Girl by Christine Adolph is bright and colorful enough to spice up any girlie project! I love how the 6x6 pad allowed me to get the full effect of the patterns on my projects!

Boho girl and boy 6x6 pad

I incorporated a lot of pre-existing Boho Baby Girl and Boy elements, along with the 6x6 papers, the signature collection cardstock basics, and Luminarte Radiant Rain shimmering sprays on this layout.

I used a card from the journaler's pack and a die cut to highlight the 6x6 papers on my card.

See how easily I was able to switch gears using the same line to create a basketball layout?

Introducing Make a Wish 6x6 pads

Hi there, it's Eva here today with a little peek of a brand new product from Creative Imaginations, new 6x6 pads! It is specifically made for card makers in mind, but really anyone can use it and I will show you three different projects with one of the 16 different different collections.  We have a different pad to meet all your cardmaking, scrapbooking or altered art needs!

  C_29014

Today's projects are made with the Make a Wish paper line, which is just too cute.  First I made a card with it.

Birthday Greetings

I love the bright papers in this line and also the fact that there are a lot of sentiments for Birthday that you can use on all your projects, so you really don't need to reach for anything else.  The only items I added to my projects are My Favorite Things Die-namics.

My second project is a layout, an 8x8 size. In this layout I also incorporated some of our brand new Signature Gingham Cardstock papers, which perfectly coordinate with this line.  I also added the Event stamped tag by Unity's Ippity line.

Life is too short

My third project is an altered project using the BE Veronica Frame - GIft Card Holder incorporating this new Make a Wish paper line.  Imagine giving someone a little Birthday Gift card, or have a special birthday picture to frame, this would be a perfect little project to create. Here is the outside of it.

Make a Wish BE

And take a look at the inside, which I decorated with the papers and also painted with Luminarte Twinkling H20 Kiwi color.  Again, it just matched the papers so perfect.

Supplies I used:

Be sure to stop by to see the rest of the sneak peeks.

Narratives Antique Cream 6x6 paper pads sneak peeks

Hi, it's Eva again and today I am showing off a really gorgeous brand new 6x6 paper pad by Narratives called Antique Cream.  This smaller pad coordinates with our previous release of Narratives papers and embellishments that you can see HERE.   I love this line so much, as you can create truly dreamy projects with it and some of the designs lend to painting with Luminarte.

C_29018

I am going to show you my first project with it, which is a card.  Using Spellbinders, I die cut my card shape using black card stock and then adhered my Antique Cream paper to it.  I also cut out some pretty Rolled Roses My Favorite Things Die-namics from the Antique Cream paper and painted it with Luminarte.  The pretty leaf you see is a white card stock cut with my Silhouette and again painted it in with Luminarte Twinkling H2O.  I also stamped my image using a Samantha Walker Unity Stamp set and once again, painted it in with Luminarte Twinkling H2O.  So, as you can see, you may be starting out with Antique Cream, but you can end up with a pretty colorful card just by adding a little Luminarte here and there.

Thank you

My next project is a layout.  I love this paper design so much and as soon as I saw it, I knew it would be painted in again with Luminarte Twinkling H2O's, so here is what I came up with.

Just be You 2

I added a gorgeous May Arts ribbon and Unity Stamp sentiment.  I also used Petaloo's Paint it embossed leaves, which I painted in with Luminarte Twinkling H20 as well.  The base of my layout is a paper from the NEW Dots and Stripes 6x6 pad.

My next item is an altered project and is using another BE product called Desiree 4x6 frame square, which is just beautiful and it comes with an easel attached in the back, so it stands up nicely.  Again, I diecut flowers and flourish from the Antique Cream paper line and painted them with Luminarte Twinkling H2O's.  I covered my frame with one of the papers and just added my painted flowers and flourish to it to come up with this final project.  Of course I added another gorgeous May Arts ribbon to it to finish it off.

Hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks and come back for more.

Sneak Peek - New Samantha Walker A to Z!

Hi Everyone, Lynn here with a sneak peek of Samantha Walker's new collection A to Z - perfect for scrapping all your school pictures! For my layout I started with the yellow dotted paper as my background. I pre-planned my page and decided where my title would go. I used chipboard letters I had in my stash and placed them on the page and and sprayed it with Ginger Peach Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist. I then created my layout using papers, stickers and diecuts from the collection. The banner was creathing using a MFT banner die.

Supplies For "School Days Layout":

A to Z Collection:

For my card I used the same yellow dotted background. I used the ruler sticker and backed it with black cardstock. I punched out a scalloped circle and placed a smaller circle punch over that and placed the teacher sticker on the circle punches. The banner was again created with a MFT banner die and I used ginger Peach Twinkling H20's in Ginger Peach to color the chipboard letters for the title.

Fun with Wood Paper

Tomorrow is our BIG Day! We are going to be showing some sneak peeks of our newest collections and we are super excited!!

In the meantime DT member, Alice Carman shares an adorable project using our Kid's camp papers and Real Wood!

Wanted to make something special for the Design Team Girls today and I couldn't think of any other special way than to make this little mini book.  Not many of you know, but I'm a hug fan of owls and so here is what I came up with using our Wood lines, Creative Cafe and Signature collections.  Of course I had to name the camp OWLICE.  Owl plus Alice equeals OWLICE...giggle!

Cover

These are the insert pages:

Carrie

Cheryl

Eva

Jenn

Lynn

Nicole

Tanisha

Did you notice some of the wood paper is a bit darker?  In order to give it a darker color, I used a brown ink pad and a make up sponge.  Depending on how dark you want your wood paper, use a dark brown.  For a lighter brown, use a lighter brown.  Just rub the make up sponge into the ink pad and then rub it onto your wood paper.  That's it!  How cool, right?

I used the following supplies:

Creative Cafe Collection

22503 Spirit Notes {in stores}

25029 Things to Do {in stores}

25019 Calendar Year DS Paper

25021 Calendar Day DS paper

25020 Calendar Month DS paper

Signature Collection

26682 Summer DS Paper

26685 Peace DS Paper

26683 Owl DS Paper

Wood Collection

26039 Real Wood 6X12 Thin Birch

26041 Real Wood 6x12 Thin Cherry

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great day!
