Halloween is coming!

Ghosts and goblins are starting to appear which only means one thing... Halloween is near!

So we've dedicated the next 2 weeks to share some SCARY halloween inspiration with you.  To start us off we have some layouts & cards to share today.

"Halloween"

Fall papers mixed with a Halloween theme can make for a bright and seasonal layout. Add elements of scariness to mark the Halloween theme, but sprinkle in leaves and pumpkins for a fall feel. I used las season's Monster Mash from Imaginisce along with this year's fall collection, Bushel o'Fall to complete my theme.

Supplies: Imaginisce — Monster Mash: pattern paper, Bushel o'Fall: pattern paper, wood buttons. Mist, Cameo and digital cut file, Card stock, TomBow dots runner adhesive,

Halloween Cards

For my Halloween cards I’ve used papers from three different Imaginisce collections: “Black Ice”, “Outdoor Adventure” and “Bushel o’ Fall”. Basically I just wanted orange and black colored papers and I found those in these collections.

The card with the spider’s web I’ve created with my Silhouette Cameo and was really too easy: all I did was fold it, adhere an orange background and add some eyes.

The card with the witch was a bit more work. It consists of three layers, which I stitched with the sewing machine and adhered on the card base. The witch was a die and I used my Big Shot to cut her. The letters which for “boo” are leftovers from the other card and I added some bling from Imaginisce’s “Bushel o’ Fall” collection.

Supplies Used: Imaginisce (Bushel o’ Fall: patterned paper, bling; Outdoor Adventure: patterned paper; Black Ice: patterned paper).
Other Supplies used: Bazzill cardstock. Tools: Silhouette Cameo; Sizzix Big Shot; Sewing Machine: Aigger.

Come join us tomorrow!

Saturday Share: "Spooky' Photo Pocket Page

Welcome to our Saturday Share feature. It's all about Project Life. So if you're new to this or you've been doing this for a while already you will find a great deal of inspiration from our designers and from the other companies that we've teamed up with.

Today Mary Pat Siehl is sharing a project with us.

Spooky

I LOVE Project Life.  I have done it both traditionally and nontraditionally.  Lately I have been doing a mixure.  I have been putting a month's worth of activities on one or two pages.  I just pick the highlights of our month.  I then may make an insert to add additional photos.

Today I have one of those highlight pages I made from last year (yes, I am still completing my 2012 Project Life LOL!).  I have highlighted all the fun activities that we did during the month of October.  The Monster Mash collection was so perfect for my page.  I like to use the Imaginisce embellishments to add the little cute details to the page.

The die cut titles are so perfect to tuck into the  4x6 spots.  The really make a cute spot!

Bushel o' Fall - Day 4

Well it's our final day of the release party for Bushel o' Fall! We hope that you've been enjoying the inspiration & eye candy from our talented Design Team.
We certainly have been!

We have a few more products to share with you from this collection.

Buttons

Bling Pack

Now let's see today's final projects from a few of our Design Team members.

"Happy Fall"
This collection is fabulous! I love the beautiful autumn colors and patterns, perfect for my fall layouts.
My first layout I was inspired by the Aztec trend that I see all around me. I found an Aztec pattern on Pinterest and fussy cut the papers to make a fun background for this layout.

For the second layout I wanted to use some of my favorite fall photos of my sons having a leaf fight.  I used my Silhouette to die cut a tree and cut the leaves from different colors of patterned paper to create a fall tree.

Supplies: Patterned Paper and die cuts- Imaginisce Bushel of Fall, Cardstock – Core’dinations Cardstock and Bazzil Basics, Die Cut Machine (Tree) – Silhouette.

Collection of layouts

I was so happy when I saw this new Imaginisce collection! I love the warm colors and the super cute designs with the squirrels, deer and birds!

Life is great: For this layout I chose a warm red colored background from Core’dinations and sanded it so they dots became more apparent. Furthermore I chose a black and white photo of my daughter and although the designs of the papers and animals are all very “cute” I find that they fit this photo of my 15 year old daughter just perfectly! Even though she always insists she isn’t “cute”!

Laugh and be happy: For this layout I tried to use as many of the awesome patterned papers as possible! I just love combining all the colors and patterns!

We love Fall: For this layout I started off with a Silhouette cut background and built the rest of the page around it. The photos are of my son seeing some squirrels in a park in NY. Where we live you (almost) never see squirrels and if you see them they are red, so to him this was very special!

Supplies: Imaginsce (Bushel of Fall): patterned paper, die-cuts, sticker stackers. Other supplies: cardstock: Bazzill Basics. Tools: Sewing Machine: Aigger; Diecutting machine: Silhouette Cameo; Tiny Attacher: Tim Holtz;  Border Punch: EK Success.

"Happy Fall"

Fall is one of my all time favorite seasons. I think it is because the colors are so beautiful and rich looking and Imaginisce has done it again with this new collection.  I am in absolute LOVE with it!  When making this layout I really wanted to layer the paper and show off the beautiful colors.  I love that there are journaling cards in the collection as well and aren't those buttons and bling just awesome?  I know right!  So much fun!

supplies:
paper- buttons- bling- die cuts- imaginsice
mist- studio calico

Autumn Blessings
My favorite season is most definitely Fall and now I have added this gorgeous new Fall collection from Imaginisce to my list of favorites! The colors are so rich and vibrate and are perfect for all Fall pictures. For my layout I created the outside borders using 3 different border punches. Then I cut out the tree with my Silhouette and added all the fun leaves. Then all I had to do was layer my pictures with all of the fun embellishments that come in this collection.

Imaginisce Supplies - Bushel Of Fall (paper, Sticker Stacker, buttons, bling pack, die cuts)
Other Supplies - Maya Road (twine), Silhouette, Marvy Uchida leaf punch), Ek Success (border punches)

Autumn Blessings/Happy Fall Home Décor
I LOVE to make home décor pieces to display around my home and as soon as I saw Bushel Of Fall I knew I had to make something to adorn my home this fall. I created the frame and little basket with my Silhouette and decorated it with all of the fabulous little pieces from the collection. But not the leaves, those were hand cut from a piece of burlap I had laying around. These two pieces are the perfect addition to my Fall décor!

Imaginisce Supplies - Bushel Of Fall (papers, buttons, bling pack, die cuts, Snag Em stamp)
Other Supplies - Silhouette, Burlap and felt flower (hobby lobby), American Craft cardstock

Bushel o Fall - Day 3

We're back with some more goodies from our new fall release, Bushel o' Fall.
Here's a look at the Die Cuts from this fabulous collection.

Bushel o Fall Journaling  Die Cuts

Bushel o Fall Phrases

So Dear

We've got some more fabulous projects to share with you today so let's get started.

"So Thankful" layout

This new fall line from Imaginisce is my new favorite!  I love fall, its my favorite time of year and this collection captures the beauty of fall with its colors and unique embellishments!
I started with a fun design across the bottom of my layout with a verity of papers in the shape of a triangle - I had a hard time picking just a few pattern papers to use!  I did a little photo matting and foam tape to my die cuts and alphas to make them stand out.
This was the perfect collection for this adorable photo of my two boys!

Supplies:
Imaginisnce: Fall Collection - Paper, Die Cuts
                     Childhood Memories - Alphabets
                     Foam Tape
Other: Adhesive

"Bushel of Fun"
Imaginislce's Bushel of Fall Collection is fabulous!  I love everything about it, especially the colors and the fun embellishments.  The embellishments are really cool in this collection because they allow for more freedom to mix, match and combine them to achieve your perfect look.  I made some hand cut shapes with several of the fun pattern papers and paired them up with similar shaped embellishments like the pennant sticker with the deer on it and the Bushel of of Fun circle embellishments.  I clustered them together towards the bottom of the page so that the adorable photo remained the focus of the layout.  My kiddos love to go the pumpkin patch, in fact my son asks to go throughout the year because he loves it so much.  He doesn't like the fact that he has to wait until October.  This collection is great for pumpkin patch photos!

Supplies:  Bushel of Fall Collection, Brown Ink, Brown Pen, Mini Scallop Scissors, foam tape.

"Autumn Blessings"
With every collection I always find that I don't use the journaling cards very much.  So with this layout, I was determined to use them.  I cut all of them out and made a collage with them.  By layering them, I could also spread the journaling out rather than traditionally using just one for all the journaling.  The cool thing about doing the collage is that although it is part of the background of the page it also became the main embellishing of the page.  I love the wood buttons and rhinestones in this collection and thought they would be the perfect addition to the journaling cards.

Supplies:  Bushel of Fall Collection, Brown Ink, Corner Rounder, Small Pinking Scissors.

Autumn Blessings Layout

I love the beginning part of fall where we still get the afternoon sunshine, it's warm,  sunny with a cool breeze, a welcome relief for the
not so anticipated cold winter and a great way to end the summer.  I created this layout of my nieces and son at the pumpkin farm on a gorgeous
October afternoon. I love the bright and rich color of this collection, it's a perfect match for any fun, bright and any fall photos you have.

Bushel of Fun Layout

This second layout is my grandson having  fun with the wheelbarrow,  determined to haul the pumpkin of his choice :) . I created flower rosette to
match with the round sticker title. what I love about this layout is the color contrast, the darker background against the rich bright colors of the pumpkin paper.

Supplies: Imaginisce Bushel of Fall Collection
Other : Martha Stewart Score Board tool.

Fall Cards
This fall line by Imaginisce is one of my favorite fall themed lines, EVER.  I absolutely love the fresh colors that give this line a modern look while still having lots of traditional elements.

I wanted to create a couple of fun and festive cards that were still simple.  They are created easily with only a few elements from this great line!

Autumn Blessing:
Patterned Paper: Imaginisce
Cardstock, string, leaf and clip: from my stash

SO thankful:
Patterned Paper, Label, Sticker Stacker and bling: Imaginisce
Cardstock: From my stash

"We Love Fall"

With the wonderful colors in this collection I couldn't NOT make a page using them.  I was so in love with the aqua and orange for fall I knew they would be so fun and playful -- which is perfect for my style.  Add in some of the cute elements and those gorgeous wooden buttons?  You have a fall page perfect for showcasing one of my favorite photos -- a perfect fall photo of our home!

Supplies: Patterned Papers, stickers, labels, bling, buttons, die cuts: Imaginisce
Background paper: From my stash

Bushel o' Fall - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of our Release Party for Bushel o' Fall.
Isn't this collection adorable?

Here's a look at the Snag 'em Stamps.
Pie
 Apple
 Deer
 Gourds
 Bird
 Squirrel
These stamps are so cute and very affordable.  They can be used for cards, layouts and whatever type of altered project you desire to create. Plus they're small enough to store.

Now let's see some more amazing projects from our Design Team members.

"Bushel of Fun" layout

The papers and embellishments in the new Bushel O' Fall collection are perfect for all of those fun activities that happen every fall season. It isn't fall in Upstate NY until you've chosen the perfect pumpkin, picked apples, drank cider and made a pie. I love having a collection that can show that off. For my layout, I used a variety of the papers and embellishments from the collection to go with a picture of my son choosing his pumpkin for the season.

Supplies: Bushel O' Fall collection (12x12 Pattern paper, Phrases Die Cuts, Wood Buttons, Sticker Stackers)

"Autumn Blessings" card

With so many family get-togethers going on this time of year, a nice card to thank the host or hostess would be such a nice touch. I love the home-like feel to the Bushel O' Fall collection and the die cuts that go with it.

Supplies: Bushel O' Fall collection (12x12 Pattern paper, Die Cuts)

Trio of Fall Cards

I love Fall. There's something in the air that makes sitting at my craft table cozy and fun. The Bushel of Fall put me in just the right frame of mind to create a trio of coordinating cards.

For my first card, I wanted to really showcase all the fun patterned paper in the collection. I created a fun die-cut background and then simple added one of the cute matching dimensional stickers. The Happy Fall die-cut was the perfect sentiment and I absolutely adore the new wood buttons!

My second card had me pulling out my markers to color in two of the darling Snag'Em stamps. Again, I used a die-cut sentiment from the collection and another fun wood button.

My third card was simple to create because I used the pretty patterned paper to create my background. I let the die-cuts do most of my work for me, and with a little bit of twine, I was all set!

Supplies used:
(Snag 'Em Stamps, Die-Cuts, Wood Buttons, Patterned Paper, Stickers from Bushel of Fall Collections) Imaginisce; Coloring Medium: (Sketch Markers) Copic; Fibers: (Twine) generic; Cardstock (blue, orange, white) Stampin' Up!

"So Thankful for You"

When I first saw this new collection, my mind went racing.  All kinds of ideas were popping in my head of what I wanted to create with this gorgeous collection.  I decided on a layout because...well that's my thing.  I have to admit, I don't have any and when I say any...that's what I mean, Thanksgiving pictures.  Bad, I know!  The good thing about this collection is you can use it for other projects besides Fall and Thanksgiving themed.  I created this layout of my hubby and I because he is one of the things I am most thankful for.

Imaginisce Supplies: Bushel O Fall Patterned Papers, Sticker Stackers, Die Cuts and Wood Buttons

Bushel o' Fall Release Party - Day 1

We are so excited to share this new fall collection, Bushel o' Fall, with you this week!
The colors, the patterns and the cute designs make this collection a favorite for the fall season!

Our design team have been crafting up a storm and have so many incredible projects to share with you this week. So let's get started!

The 12x12 papers are doubled sided.

Give Thanks

Autumn Sunset

Maize

Harvest Bounty

Falling Leaves

Into the Woods

Crisp Apple

So Thankful

We'll share some more products tomorrow.

Now let's see what our design team have created.

"So Thankful For Each Other"

I  think Autumn paper collections are my favorite. The busy summer schedules are over and life slows down. With the cooler temps, we spend more evenings inside with family. When it is nice, we savor the outdoors because we know all to well that those warm sunny days will soon end. And the colors that abound are breathtaking! The colors in Bushel O' Fall are just as beautiful. In this layout of my son and his girlfriend, I used my i-Top and some burlap to create the center of my flower. The burlap adds interesting texture. I colored the metal top with a Copic marker first so that it blended better with the burlap. Then I used my Imaginisce Petal Roller to shape my sunflower petals.

"Just a Note"

For my second project, I made a card with that yummy apple paper and some die cuts. A few scattered i-Rock gems finish it off. Wouldn't this be perfect for a teacher!

Supplies: Imaginisce Bushel O' Fall Pattern Paper, Sticker Stackers, Die Cuts; i-Top, Medium Brad Daddy, i-Rock; Heart gems; Petal Roller;
Core'dinations cardstock; VersaMark Ink; Ranger Distress Ink; Stampendous Black Embossing Powder; Burlap; Hemp; McGill Star Lily punch; Copic Marker in Brown; Cheery Lynn die; Sakura Miscron pen in Black; Silhouette Lori Whitlock Fall Leaves; Lavanderia font.

"Autumn Blessings" Wreath

I love the warm fall colours in this collection. They are just cozy and inviting.  So that's what the type of project I wanted to create. Something that was inviting and warmed ones' spirit.
I've been wanting to make one of these 'cone' shaped wreaths for a while now and thought this collection would be perfect to grace our home.

1. So I cut several different patterned papers to 5" x 5" in size and then rolled them into a cone shape adhering them in place using the i-bond.  I also cut some pieces of TH Kraft Core and embossed them before rolling them into shape.
2. After completing many of these cones I adhered them to a circle piece of cardboard (approx. 5" x 5 in size). Again using the i-bond to adhere them.
3. Then I adhered some pieces of natural coloured raffia in between the cones using the i-bond.
4.  For the center of the wreath I adhered a circle shaped piece of patterned paper to a doily.  Finished it off with some die cuts and gems from the collection.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Bushel o' Fall collection: patterned papers, diecuts, Bling pack, i-bond); Other: doily, Xyron (Teresa Collins foam squares; 9" Creative Station); Burlap, Core'dinations Colorcore Cardstock (TH Kraft Core)

Fall Layout

Each time Imaginisce comes out with a new line I think, well! They've just gone and outdone themselves again! Let me tell you, this release is no exception!! What is so unique about this release are the "add on's".

The Fall Icons, Buttons, Journaling Die Cuts, Buttons and Gems just complete the already awesome patterned papers.

Imaginsce's cute little critters continue! I stamped and hand colored the little squirrel. Check out his hot rock nose!

Supplies:

Imaginisce: Bushel O' Fall; Patterned Paper, Stamp, Sticker Stackers, Fall Icons, Journaling Die Cuts and Buttons; Hot Rocks, iRock tool

Other: Decorative Scissors: Heidi Swapp; Twine: The Twinery, Font: KingThings; Ink:QuickQuotes

Place Cards:

I used this amazing collection in combination with the iRock and iTop to make some fun Thanksgiving place cards for my family this year! I can't wait to put them on the dinner table!

The breast of old turkey lurkey is made using some burlap from my stash and the iTop to create some dimension on the place card. I used a cut file as the basis of the turkey (primarily his head, feet and waddle) then deviated and personalized the rest. The journaling die cuts are removable so that I could insert other name tage (I am pondering and after school fall party of sorts...).

Supplies:
Imaginisce - Bushel O' Fall: Patterned Paper, Journaling Die Cuts; Hot Rocks, iRock tool, XL Brad Daddies, iTop
Other - Cardstock: Core'dinations; Cut File: Snapdragon Snippets (Silhouette Design ID #34152), Craft wire and beads: Hobby Lobby; Misc craft supple: Burlap

 Autumn Blessings

Fall is my favorite time of year, and the new Fall Release is the perfect collection to scrapbook your fall memories!  I absolutely love all the possibilities with this collection!

I couldn't wait to dive in to use the new wood buttons and die cuts! I added some Bling to the photo corners to really draw attention to the photos!

Imaginisce: Buttons, Diecuts, Sticker Stackers, Patterned Paper, Bling
Other: May Arts Ribbon, Twine from the Twinery

Welcome to our Saturday Share Project LIfe feature. We've got a great fall themed layout to share with you today created by designer Jennie McGarvey.
PLUS, we're sharing a sneak peek of our new fall collection here, "Bushel o' Fall".

Project Life: Sept. 23-29th

I am so excited to share with you my week 39  of Project Life made with loads of the new Imaginisce collection, Bushels o' Fall!  This line is perfect for fall with traditional colors mixed with some fresh colors and images.  LOVE IT.

When you look at this week -- there isn't anything overly "FALL" about it.  That's why I tried to stay away from anything too themed.  I did want to use a fall themed collection, however, to signify that fall is here. So, basically, keeping a balance.

The aqua was perfect to blend everyday with the fall accents and the orange helps, as well.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper, Stickers, Labels: Imaginisce
Alphabet Stickers + Wood Veneer: From my stash
