From This to That with Imaginisce

How would you like to take these Spooky Town papers and create......this cute "Fall" card? It's easy, just turn the papers over and use the backsides. Using the Marvy 2 1/2" scalloped circle punch four from the Bestitched paper.
Fold circles in half and glue backsides together to form half 3D circle.
  • Trim 4 x 4 1/2" strip of Boo Hoo paper (yellow) side.
  • Trim 3 1/8" square of Fraidy Cat (purple) paper.
  • Print phrase on backside of Boo Buttons paper (green) and trim down.
  • Ink all edges of papers with brown ink and assemble card.
  • Use 1" green grosgrain ribbon to create leaves.
  • Cut small strip of brown to create stem on pumpkin.
  • Tie small piece of string into bow around stem.

Spooky Fun Project from Imaginisce

Still looking for creative ideas for all those Halloween Treats? Try creating this fun "candy cone" from our new Spooky Town papers.

This project is super easy, we don't even need to show you step-by-step pictures, but here's the instructions.
1. Starting with a 12" x 12" piece of Spooky Town paper (Trick or Treat #001761 shown here). Start rolling paper into a cone shape (large opening will not be straight...it's okay).
2. I found stapling cone in place at the top worked best, but then hot gluing the rest of the paper along the seam works best.
3. Trim top edge of paper even.
4. With decorative scissors (large zig zag shown), trim along the end of a 4" x 12" strip of coordinating paper (backside of Bestitched #001766 shown here). Hot glue this about 1/2" from top of cone.
5. You may need to trim off a little more of the top edge to opening of cone.
6. Hot glue feather boa or other embellishment along top edge (pom-poms would look super cute).
7. With hole punch, punch on opposite sides of cone and string with ribbon to create handle.
8. Add tag (optional) and fill with lots of yummy treats!!

 Supplies:

• 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” strips of various Spooky Town papers (papers shown here Boo Whooo?! #001764, Bestitched #001766)

• Spooky Town Chipboard Stickers #0001773

• Assorted Ribbon

Instructions:

Cut your papers to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" strips.

Add adhesive along both long sides and one short side.

Roll paper into a tube shape, so that the short side sticks opposite side to hold tube shape.

Pinch one end together so adhesive keeps shape,

Fill tube with candy. Then turn tube and pinch open end so that it is going a different direction as shown.

(Optional) Put each end through "crimper" and crimp about a half inch. Embellish with chipboard pieces & ribbon.
