More Mr. & Mrs. Projects with Kristen, Melinda, and Ria

Design team member Kristen Swain created a gorgeous set of cards with The Mr. & Mrs. collection. Here's what Kristen had to say ... "The  Mr. and Mrs. line is gorgeous for weddings. One of my favorite things about this line is the colors, black and white are classic, but the addition of the cream really sets this line apart. It was so easy to create these two cards, they almost created themselves. I love to use berry stems from the floral section of the craft store, you can bend them around a pencil and get a really beautiful look, which is what I did for the Lucky in Love card. The beautiful dimensional stickers and metal flowers made putting the congratulations card come together so quickly, I could have made this into a 30 minutes or less post!"

Pebbles supplies used:

Design team member Melinda Spinks created a beautiful keepsake for a friend's upcoming wedding.  Here's what Melinda had to say ... "My dear mum asked me to make her a card for friends having their second marriage and she had a little frame that she wanted to give them as a gift. So I put my thinking cap on and combined the two... I made the card so that it would fit inside the frame so they can replace it once they have their wedding photos. After seeing all the gorgeous new embellishments in the Mr. & Mrs. collection I was busting to open the packs and use as many as I could to create the heart for the card. I love clusters of bits and pieces and the heart made the perfect choice for the theme of this card."

Design team member Ria Mojica documented her special day on this stunning layout.  Here's what Ria had to say ... "It was such a joy to work with the Mr. & Mrs. line. If this line was available when I got married, maybe I would have become a scrapbooker much earlier! The papers and embellishments are so easy to mix and match -- my favorite embellishments are the Metal and Felt Flowers and the Pearl Flourishes! This project was the perfect excuse to go through my wedding photos -- my 2 little girls saw them and were tickled at the kissing scenes (lol!)...and proved once again that I married the right man because he said that I look even better now than I did then ... and I believed him, of course!"

More Mr. & Mrs. Projects with Guiseppa, Lisa, and Samantha

Design team member Guiseppa Gubler created a beautiful duo of wedding cards.  Here's what Guiseppa had to say ... "I needed some cute wedding cards to add to my stash, so this assignment was perfect for me.  I really, really love this new wedding collection.  It is a simple but elegant collection and these cards turned out just the way I wanted them to.  I know I will be making more.  This collection makes it so easy!"

Pebbles supplies used:
Mr. & Mrs. Tuxedo (751097)
Mr. & Mrs Wedding Dress (751094)
Mr. & Mrs Wedding Veil (751103)
Mr. & Mrs Metal Flowers (747085)
Mr. & Mrs. Dimensional Phrases (732042)
Mr. & Mrs. Dimensional Icons (732043)

Design team member Lisa Kisch created not one but two layouts with this collection.  Here's what Lisa had to say ... "I've been married for 7 years, and my wedding album was my first real scrapbook. I spent two years on it, and when it was done I was very proud-- and very sick of wedding papers and embellishments. So, I was pleasantly surprised when the elegant-but-not-stuffy "Mr. and Mrs." line arrived on my doorstep. It gave me the opportunity to go back and scrap some of my wedding photos in my current style-- a far cry from what I was doing in 2003. When working with black and white, I always like to use cardstock to add a punch of colour. Since there is only a hint of cardstock here and there in the design, I went out on limb with two bright, saturated tones. I love how crisp the black and white feels, and, of course, how well it goes with black and white photos."

Pebbles supplies used:
Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Floral (751092)
Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Dress (751094)
Mr. & Mrs. Tulle (751093)

Mr. & Mrs. Stickers Pearl Flourish (747081)
Mr. & Mrs. Pins (747086)
Candy Dots - Pearl Silver (747088)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)
Stickers (American Crafts)
Punches (EK Success, Creative Memories, Stampin' Up)

Here's what Lisa had to say about her second layout ... "After finishing this layout, I had another photo sitting on my desk of me in my wedding dress. I took the scraps from the previous layout and quickly  punched some squares. After adding them to some lightly paint spritzed cardstock, I coloured in the flowers on the white floral paper with pink and yellow chalk.  It's a subtle effect, but well worth it.
This layout took about 20 minutes to finish-- so try making a simple layout from your scraps the next time you finish up a layout!"

Design team member Samantha Sibbet created a fun layout with one of her wedding day snapshots as well as a wedding card perfect for the occasion.  Here's what Samantha had to say ... "The Mr. & Mrs. line of paper and embellishments is the perfect match for my wedding day snapshots.  My pictures that were taken with disposable cameras have been stuck in a box for a while now.  When I saw this bold and classic line, I knew it would work perfectly with them. The Mr. & Mrs. Week

Happy Monday everyone!  This week on the Pebbles blog we will be featuring the Mr. & Mrs. collection recently released at CHA Winter 2011.  This simple, traditional wedding themed line features a black and white color palette, with a touch of silver and vanilla.  Elegant and functional, this collection is perfect for wedding invitations, decorations and documentation of that special day.

Before we get to the amazing projects some of our design team members have created I first wanted to share with you a video created by American Crafts to help debut this collection.  I absolutely LOVE that American Crafts created this video so you can see each and every product included in the Mr. & Mrs. collection piece by piece.  You can subscribe to the American Crafts You Tube channel by visiting this page and clicking on the yellow "subscribe" button so you will always be up to date on the latest offerings from American Crafts and Pebbles.

And now on to some design team projects.  Design team member Anna Sigga created a pair of wedding cards using this collection.  Here's what Anna had to say ... "The Mr & Mrs. collection is such an elegant and classy line. The papers along with all the stunning embellishments sure make it easy to create an elegant wedding card in no time. I created this pair of wedding cards usin this gorgeous line. I decided to create a set of "his and hers" cards and since wedding cards usually turn out to be quite feminine I had a go at making a more "masculine" one too. What do you think? ;)"

Design team member Suzanne Sergi created a beautiful wedding keepsake.  Here's what Suzanne had to say ... "I have been wanting to create a Wedding Keepsake of my wedding for a long time. Inspired by an open back frame on Pintrest, I knew that a framed decor piece would be perfect! I wanted my keepsake to be on a smaller scale, with just a few snapshots, and touches of wedding decor. I am always drawn to clean lines, and the Mr. & Mrs. collection is full of traditional colors, mixed with a touch of elegance.  I love the flowers embellishments that are in this  collection! Metal, epoxy, and felt flowers are all a part of this line! The Metal flowers are probably my favorite, and are perfect for embellishing your decor projects! My wedding was very traditional, and the Mr. & Mrs. Collection was perfect for creating this framed art!"

I’m particularly excited about Happy Go Lucky because it’s just so ‘me’...the colours are bright and fun but still quite soft, and the patterns on the paper are just yummy! And don’t even get me started on the embellishments...just incredible. When I saw the cloud paper from the collection, I knew I wanted to scrap this photo of me and my brother because I thought the sky in the background matched the paper so well! Happy Go Lucky is such a versatile collection...it would be great for layouts about spring and summer, birthdays, documenting special people or everyday moments...pretty much anything!”

Happy Go Lucky Week

Happy Monday everyone!  This week on the Pebbles blog we will be celebrating the arrival of Spring with our everyday line Happy Go Lucky recently released at CHA Winter 2011.  Full of bright, vivid colors and stripes, flower and birds, the Happy Go Lucky collection will have you skipping, jumping and singing to its carefree tune.

Before we get to the amazing projects some of our design team members have created I first wanted to share with you a video created by American Crafts to help debut this collection.  I absolutely LOVE that American Crafts created this video so you can see each and every product included in the Happy Go Lucky collection piece by yummy piece.  You can subscribe to the American Crafts You Tube channel by visiting this page and clicking on the yellow "subscribe" button so you will always be up to date on the latest offerings from American Crafts and Pebbles.

And now onto some design team projects.  Design team member Laura Vegas created this adorably sweet layout about her daughter.  Here's what Laura had to say ... "I have to say this. No offense to the other awesome Pebbles collections, but the Happy Go Lucky collection has to be my favorite of all time. The colors are gorgeous, and the papers are full of great patterns that I can see myself using over and over again. This collection just makes me happy! I dug out some older photos of my daughter, Alyssa, that I had never really gotten around to scrapping. The colors in the photos went perfectly with the colors in this collection. I added some thin strips of scalloped edged black cardstock, to tie in with the black letter stickers. I love how the black really makes the colors pop off the page."

"I don’t think the designers at Pebbles, Inc. could have come up with a better name for this new line, Happy Go Lucky.  Honestly, the colors and designs are the absolute epitome of happy!  I can’t even look at these products without smiling – I love love love this line!  I decided my first project with this happy line should be about something that makes me happy…of course, my kiddos!!  I used a lot of the papers on this layout, and I love that they compliment each other so well that it doesn’t seem overwhelming to use a lot of patterns together.  I also loved the embossed cloud stickers, but wanted to give them a bit more dimension, so I popped them up with foam adhesive.  And of course, if you look closely, you’ll find a couple of tear strips I incorporated on my page too.  Have a Happy Day! :o)"

More Ever After Projects with Christa, Ginger, and I plus a GIVEAWAY!

I (Lynn Ghahary) also had the opportunity to create something with the Ever After collection.  I decided to alter a hanging trio of frames I picked up at the local craft store.  And since I only have boys I decided to create this frame for my sweet little niece Gia.  I covered each frame with different patterns from the collection and added lots and lots of dimensional stickers.  My sister in law can easily swap out the photos as Gia gets older.

Design team member Christa Paustenbaugh created this sweet layout about her daughter's relationship with her daddy.  Here's what Christa had to say ... "Being the mom of 2 little girls, our princesses, then this line was created just for scrappers like me!  I love not only the pinks, but the blues and greens are really vibrant too.  And as I say time and time again, if one side of the paper doesn't work for a layout, then the "b" side is always phenomenal as well!  For this layout I used primarily the non themed side of the papers because they worked so well with the colors in my daughter's swimsuit.  The stamp in these new releases are also amazing!"

Design team member Guiseppa Gubler created this darling layout about her adorable little neice - just look at that smile!  Here's what Guiseppa had to say ... "My daughter is getting older now and has grown out of the princess theme (it makes me sad) so, I decided to pull out some pictures of my niece.  She is a princess in every way and oh so funny and cute.  She is very well deserving of this gorgeous collection, Ever After.  I just couldn't wait to make a page about my little princess ... Design team member Laura Vegas created this adorable set of cards perfect for any princess or otherwise.  Here's what Laura had to say ... "The new Ever After collection is so girly and cutesy, and I just love the colors. When I saw the new clear stamps, the "Make A Wish" stamp really caught my eye. I decided to make some fun little cards, making sure to include some birthday cards. You can never have too many birthday cards on hand. I like to make mine 4x4 inches in size, so that I can get 4 cards out of one sheet of cardstock. It's such a cute little size, and they go together quickly, since you have less space to fill up. The new Ever After collection has tons of great ready-to-go embellishments, that can be pulled right out of the package and added to your projects. I created the base of these cards, using some white cardstock, pattern paper, and a few strips of ribbon. Then I just choose a fun embellishment to add to the card, and finished off each card with a few candy dots."

Design team member Wendy Sue Anderson created this stunning layout about her daughter and shows us that Ever After is not just for the princesses in your life.  Here's what Wendy had to say ... "I think the new Ever After line is simply beautiful!  I am in love with the fun patterns, happy colors, and the sweet princess theme ... but do you know what I love the most?  That you don't have to be scrapbooking princess themed photos to make this line look great!  And that's a good thing, because even though I have a sweet little girl of my own she's never been a huge fan of pink or princesses or anything of the sort.  I love that there are browns and greens and plenty of polka-dots in this line!  I had fun piecing together a little quilt pattern for my layout - and I even incorporated two of the tear strips on my page - I love using those!  Ever After is perfect for spring or summer pages.  I can't wait to make more non-princess pages with this amazing new line! :o)"

Ever After Week

Happy Monday everyone! This week on the Pebbles blog we will be telling fairytales of castles, crowns and princes with the help of our Ever After collection recently released at CHA Winter 2011.  With designs of woodland creatures, roses and tiaras this collection will help mom's share their little princesses' story.  This collection is also perfect for decorating a wee one's birthday party.

Before we get to the amazing projects some of our design team has created I first wanted to share with you a video created by American Crafts to help debut this collection.  I absolutely LOVE that American Crafts created this video so you can see each and every product included in the Ever After collection piece by glittery piece.  You can subscribe to the American Crafts You Tube channel by visiting this page and clicking on the yellow "subscribe" button so you will always be up to date on the latest offerings from American Crafts and Pebbles.

And now onto some design team projects.  First up we have the very talented Kim Kesti who created this sweet layout using a photo of herself as a little girl (wasn't she adorable?!?).  Here's what Kim had to say ... "The Ever After line is so utterly enchanting to work with, it’s like a fairy tale come to life. The collection is versatile, too; try using current photos of your loved ones and older, vintage photos, too. Dad always did call me ‘his little princess.'"

So I used them to create this two-tone love letter keepsake tin. Simply seem the two colors with a clean strip of white and top with these fun dimensional stickers. In a matter of minutes you have the perfect place for a lucky pre-teen girl to stash her first love notes."

Design team member Zoe Nemburt created this beautiful layout about springtime butterflies.  Here's what Zoe had to say ... "We have had so much snow up here in the Maritimes I have almost forgotten what the wonderful green grass looks like.  We have heaps of snow everywhere some are 8ft tall.  I needed to inject some colour into my otherwise “snow white” life right now and Tree House is the perfect collection for a boost of beautiful brightness.  I chose a picture from Ceyda’s smaller days, she will be 5 very soon and is starting school this year, which just leaves me thinking where did that time go? She loves butterflies and the little chair she is sitting on in this picture is right next to a butterfly bush.  We love to sit and watch them together."

Sketchy Thursday

For today's edition of "Sketchy Thursday" I asked some of our design team members to create a project based on this fabulous sketch by Becky Fleck.

Design team member Lisa Kisch created this layout about her sweet daughter.  Here's what Lisa had to say ... "I've worked with Becky's sketches a lot! I love using sketches so that I don't have to think about the design - I just put the elements where Becky says they should go and, voila, great design. That leaves me to play with colours and textures! In this case, I used lots of candy dots for a playful look, and used my sewing machine to attach the small photos, and a ruffle of ribbon (I cut the ribbon in half and let it fray. It's not often that fraying is good thing!)."

Pebbles supplies used:

Baby Pink Spool Ribbon (44031)

Other supplies used:

Design team member Melinda Spinks created this beautiful layout appropriately titled "perfect." Here's what Melinda had to say ... "I love a good sketch! Nothing makes me happier than having the design of my project right there in front of me, already worked out for me and no time needed to think, draw, procrastinate, stress, and worry about how I'm going to do my next layout.  I don't usually deviate too far from the concept of a sketch design as I figure that someone has gone to a lot of trouble to create a perfectly balanced plan so I may as well stick to it! This sketch was all that and more, it allowed for creativity and simplicity all rolled into one and I had so much fun playing around with my flower punch again!"

Whip It Up Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone! Is the week halfway over already? The days are flying by and if you're short on time (like I am) then you'll love today's post. I challenged some of our design team members to whip up a project in 30 minutes or less.

Design team member LG Belarmino created this adorable "every day" layout about her sweet daughter.  Here's what LG had to say ... "Are you the type of scrapbooker who sticks-as-you-go or tends to rearrange a lot before adhering everything? I am the second one. I usually spend more time rearranging everything than actually sticking them on. So doing a quick layout is always a challenge to me. In this page, I went out of my comfort zone and just kept adhering every piece as I went. I started with the photos, matte every single piece, and just added a few embellishments to complete my page. I finished in less than 30minutes."

Pebbles supplies used:
Twitterpated 3x3 Cards (751000)
Twitterpated Delight (751001)

Twitterpated Sweetheart (751010)
Charming ABC Stickers (732000)
Chirpy ABC Stickers (732009)
New Arrival Buttons (747004)

Other supplies used:

Cardstock

Design team member Ria Mojica created a set of cards in no time at all!  Here's what Ria had to say ... "I'm not much of a cardmaker because with 3 fast-growing kids, only God knows how far my scrapbooking backlog has gone...So when I do make cards, they're almost always going to be the fast and easy kind. Pebbles products make my life so much easier with coordinating note cards, papers and dimensional embellishments. I really love the sentiments on the note cards, makes card-making so easy! You really can't go wrong, whichever products you choose to mix and match. These 2 cards didn't even take 30 minutes to make!"

How To Tuesday

First things first, I have a winner to announce from last week's "Pebbles Chips" giveaway.  Thank you all so much for your comments.  And the lucky winner is ...

Congratulations! Please email your full name and mailing information as well as your choice of Pebbles collection to pebblesincdt(at)gmail(dot)com and put "Pebbles Chips Winner" in the subject line.

Today's "How To" post is brought to you by the very talented Eva Pizzaro.  Eva totally blew me away with her project today - talk about clever!  Here are Eva's step by step instructions ...

Hi everyone, welcome to today's Pebbles tutorial! Today I’ll show you how to create a fun note/pen holder for your desk.  Start by making the base for your project, cut a 9 ½ inch square and score at 3 ½ and 2 ½ inches on each side.  Draw lines on your paper every 1/3 inch, these will help you guide your strips of paper when you start weaving. You can skip this step if you want, I just did it because I wanted to make sure I attached the strips straight.

Flip your paper, cut the folding line on the 4 corners and also a piece of cardstock from every flap you have created (cut 1 inch). Put some double sided adhesive in the middle sections of your paper and assemble your box.

Here’s the box assembled:

Cut strips of patterned paper 1/4 inch wide. I chose 4 colors but I think an odd number would work best.

Start by placing your strips on the box, place the horizontal strips first, leaving one space between them. Then place another strip vertically.

Glue the other horizontal strips.

Lift the first strips you attached and glue the next vertical strip. That way the strip will be on top of some horizontal strips and above others.

Continue doing this till you finish two sides of your box.

With the remaining part of the vertical strips weave the bottom of the box.

Continue with the other two sides  until you cover the entire box. Cut the remaining parts of the strips and cover your box with Mod Podge, if you want. (I didn’t do it because I didn’t have a paintbrush at hand).  Embellish the top of your box with a scallop border.

To create the tabs simply cut 2.4 x 5.5 inch cardstock, cut the tabs form the upper part and embellish with some brads.  Cut some 2.4 x 5 inch paper and divide it between the tabs. You can add more white papers or you can also use it to hold your pens.  And here’s the finished project - I hope you like it!

Mix & Match Monday

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  Time to mix things up a bit on the Pebbles blog as some of our design team members show off their creative skills while mixing and matching products from several Pebbles collections.

Design team member Anna Sigga created her own custom flower embellishments using patterned papers from several different Pebbles collections.  Here's what Anna had to say ... "I love mixing different Pebbles collections, so for today's assignment I decided to use papers from three different collections to create one of a kind flowers. After I had cut out all the flowers needed I layered them until I was happy with the look and thickness of my flower. Then I fastened the layers with a brad and started fluffing each pedal to make it more "real" like. This is a fun way to use different collections to create your own limited edition flowers. ;D"

Design team member Stephanie Baxter is celebrating her birthday today (Happy Birthday Stephanie!) and is sharing some birthday cards as well.  Here's what Stephanie had to say ... "I’m so thrilled to be sharing a project with you today because ... it’s my birthday! I thought this was the PERFECT opportunity to share some birthday cards with you that I made using the Cats and Dogs, Twitterpated and Tree House collections. I  knew I wanted to use the sticker with the cat sitting on the chair so that I could write a sentiment saying, “Have a purr-fect birthday!” (so cheesy, but I love it!) so I used that sticker as my starting point. For my other card I had the idea of using the heart-shaped tag as a balloon, and adhering some baker’s twine as the balloon string. From there, I chose various patterned papers to match and was able to create two fun birthday cards. I know I broke ‘the rules’ a little bit with some of the colours that I used together (red and pink), but it’s good to break the rules a bit, especially when you’ve got something that you want to use that is as cute as that cat sticker!”

Design team member Jennifer Yates created this adorable layout of her son.  Here's what Jennifer had to say ... "I was inspired by the color and pattern of my son's shirt for this layout.  The light blue and brown combinations were perfect for the New Arrival Boy Collection but giving it more of a "little boy" look versus a new baby.  I incorporated the argyle pattern from his shirt in the design of the layout.  I also kept the design and flow of the layout clean and simple."

Product Parade: Pebbles Chips plus a GIVEAWAY!

Hey everyone!  Today we are highlighting one of our favorite Pebbles products here on the blog ... Design team member Deena Wuest created this adorable altered mirror for her daughter chock full of Pebbles Chips.  Here's what Deena had to say ... "This little mirror for my daughter's room came together in mere minutes. All it took was a couple of cast-off items from the back of my closet and a bag of chips. Pebbles chips, that is. I simply adhered a sheet of paper to the back of an old frame, positioned the chips to cover the background, sprinkled on a few extras and added a mirror tile. Finished off with a simple sheer ribbon, it's the perfect accessory to hang in any little girl's room."

"Pebbles Chips are one of my all-time favourite products...they’re just so cute! I love using them to create little whimsical scenes, as I’ve done here at the top of my layout. I love the fact that they match the paper lines but it’s also easy to mix and match different sets of Chips on one page. I like to make sure I add a bit of dimension to my layouts, so the Chips are ideal for this...the chipboard is really thick, so all you have to do is put a bit of glue on the back and stick it down on your page and you’ve got yourself I lovely dimensional accent.”

Dear Pebbles

Good morning everyone!  Today we are featuring cards created by some of our design team members using their favorite Pebbles products.

First up, I (Lynn Ghahary) created this fun card using papers and embellishments from the Cats & Dogs collection.  I loved the cute dimensional dog sticker and used it to add a little bit of fun and whimsy to my card.  And who could resist that adorable felt heart - I used it in my "I heart U" sentiment.

Pebbles supplies used:
Cats & Dogs Top Dog (751040)
Cats & Dogs Leash (751042)
Cats & Dogs Fetch (751045)
Cats & Dogs Cat's Meow (751048)
Cats & Dogs Buddy ABC Stickers (732013)
Cats & Dogs Dimensional Stickers - Dog (732016)
Cats & Dogs Felt Embellishments - Cat (732019)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)
Punch (Stampin' Up!)

Design team member Eva Pizarro created an adorable set of cards perfect for a new little one.  Here's what Eva had to say ... "For this set of cards I got my inspiration from the mobile rub-on that you can find in the Pebbles embellishments. I wanted all the cards to look the same so I used my border stickers. I cut three shapes from the stickers and added some handstitches and a sentiment. If you want you can use the duplicate rub-ons to write the sentiment; that way all the cards will look the same, I didn’t have them at hand so I used a mix of rub-ons and cardstock stickers. I also embellished the envelope by putting some patterned paper inside. If you want you can also use Pebbles papers and make your own envelopes. The papers are double sided so the envelopes look super cute!  To hold everything together I simply wrapped all the cards with a piece of paper embellished with some buttons."

How To Tuesday

First things first, I have a winner to announce from last week's "Scraplift " giveaway.  Thank you all so much for your comments.  And the lucky winner is ...

Congratulations! Please email your full name and mailing information as well as your choice of Pebbles collection to pebblesincdt(at)gmail(dot)com and put "Scraplift Winner" in the subject line.

Today's "How To" post is brought to you by the very talented Lisa Kisch.  Here's what Lisa had to say ... "Good morning, everyone! Back in November, I posted a layout here using a ribbon technique that I thought would also be great for a card. Today I'm doing a tutorial to explain that ribbon rolling technique!"  And here are Lisa's step by step instructions ...

Start with a 5x7 card, made from pink cardstock. We're going to add our sentiment first by adding the word "Thanks" using the Buddy cardstock stickers to a 1 1/4" X 6 3/4" strip of Twitterpated "Charm" patterned paper.  Adhere to your background.

Next, grab a length of Pebbles ribbon. I like to use something with a white accent stitch or polka dot, as it adds interest. Preferably, you should use the whole length from the spool - for maximum twisting and turning! Now grab some glue dots, or double-sided tape and  adhere one end of the ribbon just above your sentiment on the right side of the card.

Here is where the fun begins! Start to twist and turn your ribbon in different directions - just see what feels good to you. Any time you do a turn, or twist, add a glue dot to secure the ribbon. For instance, I began with a 90 degree turn. I placed the glue dot AFTER the turn, so that the ribbon still puffs up and adds dimension. Create bumps by adding a glue dot and then pushing the ribbon back toward itself before sticking it down.

Consider threading the ribbon through previous lines, for a woven effect.

Continue to turn and roll your ribbon until the surface of the card is covered, save for 1/2" at the top-- almost like creating a little maze of ribbon. Then snip the end, if you have excess.

Now, add some candy dots to your ribbon. Use the spots where you added a glue dot as a guide. These will act as visual "rivets", and it will look like the candy dots are holding the ribbon down. Finally, draw a pen line above your ribbon, 1/2" from the top of the card, in brown pen, and top with a scallop punched 1/4" x 6 3/4" strip of Twitterpated "Delight", to balance the brown in the title, and frame your ribbon work.

And there you have it! A lovely, intricate ribbon card for someone on in your life who deserves a very special thank you!
