Happy Halloween!

Helen1

Happy Halloween everyone! We hope you and your families have a safe and fun Halloween!

Today my team is sharing a few more Trick or Treat projects. First we are sharing a fun project perfect for those of you staying in to hand out candy to the Trick or treaters this evening from designer Linda Kretz.

Lindaflower

Trick or Treat basket

Project 1 Linda September

These cute spooks are perfect decor for this adorable basket.

Project2 Linda September

Love the cute banners here

Project 3 Linda September

Supplies:  Trick or Treat collection (Monster

Crossing , Scaredy Cat,Starry Night, Battu  for

You); Roll-Up flowers; Cardboard Stickers, Black

diamond  letters, Banners;  Sizzix Die Ghosts;

Bakery Twine.  I used a cotton Halloween pumpkin

print fabric , gathered it, and hot glued it to the

sides and bottom of the basket.

Linda's tip:  Whenever you plan to hang a project , be sure use a strong adhesive tape such as Scor-tape.  Regular tape runners will not hold papers and embellishments up.

Next we have some super cute cards from Becky Williams

Beckywilliamscard1

Supplies:
Trick or Treat collection: Batty for You, Fright Night, Starry Night
Sprinkle Glaze Alphabet stickers in Lagoon and Goldfish
Mini Alphabet Stickers in Linen
Other: foam adhesive, staples, EK Success photo corner punch, EK Success binder edge punch
Becky's tip: As I was creating this card I decided to add a pop of blue. Don't be afraid to add an accent of a color that isn't in the color palette that you are working with. I think that the blue really helps the "hi" to stand out on the card.
Beckywilliamscard2
Supplies:
Trick or Treat collection: Fright Night, Spooky Treats, Monster Crossing, Starry Night, cardstock stickers
Unity Stamp Company/MLS: A Little Trick or Treat stamps
Becky's tip: For this card I used up lots of scraps left over from another project; they are perfect for cardmaking!
We hope you enjoy all of the Halloween festivities! Be sure and share your Trick or Treat layouts with is on our Facebook wall.

Saturday layouts with Destination

Hello MLS fans! We're sharing some creative layouts by designers Pearl and Ilene with our Destination collection. These ladies have such great style and we loved what they created using this versatile collection.

Pearl Destionations LAyout CU1 Sept

Supply List

Destination papers:
Trip of a Lifetime  ( 11548)
Miss  U Already ( 11562)
Sit Back and Relax ( 11563)
Souvenir ( 11565)
Journey ( 11566)
Postcard ( 11567)
3D Roll Up Flower ( 11561)
Cardstock Stickers ( 11569)
Mini Alphabet Sticker - Carrot Juice ( 08423)
Glitter Alphabet Sticker - Cherry Pie ( 10115)

Pearl's Tip - It was fun to incorporate some stamping on this layout.Using the Unity Stamp set, A little destination, I stamped the "Have a nice trip " sentiment on a beige portion of our Postcard paper and Cut apart the words to use " Have a Nice " as part of my title. I also stamped the journaling note sheet unto the yellow side of our Souvenir paper and then cut the stamped image into paper ribbon strips to write my journaling.

Supplies:
Paper, Die Cuts, Letters: My Little Shoebox
Stamp: My Little Shoebox/Unity
Canvas Banner: Punky Sprouts
Trim: Melissa Frances
Ink: Tsukineko
Marker: Sharpie
Die: Tim Holtz (Sizzix)
Ink: Tsukineko
Marker: Sharpie

Ilene's Tip: We've been seeing a lot of banners lately, so sometimes it pays off to try to "dress them up" a little, to keep it fun and fresh. There are many ways of doing that, and here I used layering - I paired the MLS die cut banner with the Punky Sprouts banner, and then topped them off with an eye-catching trim.

These layouts were amazing ladies. Two talented takes on one fabulous collection!

Have a great Saturday!

Cards, cards and more cards

Hello MLS fans! It's TGIF and the kick off to Halloween weekend! I'm sure many of you will be attending festive parties, running around for last minute costumes needs, scaring people in haunted houses and carving up pumpkins. It's been fun sharing all of our Trick or Treat projects with you this month and we hope you've been able to get lots of inspiration.

Today the design team girls have created some fabulous cards and we want to share their inspiration with you.

Liquid Enamel: Inksenntials
Lare Rose, Leaves: IAmROses.com
Small Rose: Prima Marketing
Trim: Webster's Pages
Pins: Maya Road
Ink: Tsukineko
Die Cutting Machine: Sizzix
Die: Tim Holtz (Sizzix)

Ilene's Tip: Who says the Destination line can't be girly! Just add some softer touches
and flowers, and you're good to go. Also, an easy way to make the most of your letter stickers is to use the negative left over sheet as a background.  Just choose a pretty colored paper for the card base, and then layer the left-over sticker sheet on top. The spaces where the letters used to be are outlined, so it makes for a pretty effect.

Supplies:
Paper, Letter Stickers: My Little Shoebox
Brad: Making Memories
Other: trim

Ilene's tip: Making this card, I realized just how perfect this line is for boy birthday cards! So easy and quick to make cute and very boyish cards - can't go wrong with all the various vehicles and the bright colors. I especially like this sheet with borders for making small cards.

I also did a little stamping on the kraft envelopes of the mini using the Unity Stamp set - A little destination . On some of the chipboard pages I simply misted with Chalkboard Glimmer Mist and the rest of them I simply inked around the edges for a quick treatment for the background .

Thank you for sharing this beautiful album with us today Pearl.
