Welcome Back Pattie & Shemaine
Hi! My name is Pattie Beltran and I’m thrilled to be a part of My Little Shoebox. I love designing and teaching for My Little Shoebox and truly enjoy being DT Coordinator. I love working with My Little Shoebox! The colors are bright, the patterns are cheerful, and the embellsihments are so cute and user friendly!
I am the wife of a wonderful man who encourages me in all things, and “enables” me in my hobby. I’m also the mom to two fantastic children who brighten my life. I’ve been crafting all of my life and scrapbooking for 12 years now. I love all things paper (I’m kind of addicted- anyone else out there like me? hee hee), and love bling, ribbon, lace, and flowers. I teach at my lss and love every minute of it!
Hi scrappers! I My name is Shemaine Smith and I am so honored to be a part of the My Little Shoebox Design Team. I’m married to my best friend and we live in sunny So Cal where I am a stay at home mom to my kids! I love scrapbooking, creating cards and altered art. I can’t say for sure that I have a specific style really since I love scrapping shabby chic, clean lines and graphic layouts. I do know that I’ve finally found that special something that completes me. I am so honored to be a part of the My Little Shoebox team!
And finally Helen Chu, Owner of My Little Shoebox
My goal is to encourage people to take their precious photographs out of their "little shoeboxes" and turn their personal memories into creations that will endure for generations. The idea behind "My Little Shoebox" is to make scrapbooking simple, quick, uniquely personalized, and most importantly, beautiful.
Thank you for letting me share my vision with you. I sincerely hope you like it.

Hello MLS fans! Please join us in welcoming back Rosangela Philippsen!
I live in a beautiful city called Curitiba, in the South of Brazil, with my hubby and my 14 old year son, Rafael.
I have a degree in Philosophy but 5 years ago I decided to leave my boring and stressful profession (I was Manager Account to a great insurance company) in search of something that could make me happier. Today I live among papers, scissors and inks! I scrapbook every day, I give lessons, I travel with my courses in my country and go to fairs too. I am passionate about creating and inspiring different people and I love trying new and interesting materials in my designs.
I hope you enjoy my stay with My Little Shoebox !
I’m very honored to be part of the new design team and happy to be able to inspire you all!
Since Ro is a returning Member we are sharing her assignments for April with you today as well. We missed Keely and Linda's so we'll be posting theirs later today.

I love to create layouts, cards, mini-albums, and altered projects. I collect all things vintage: photos, postcards, old jewelry, jars, and ephemera. I’m fortunate enough to have been published and have served on some wonderful design teams. I love making new scrapbook friends, blogging, and being inspired by everyone on Pinterest. I’m a registered nurse by day. When I’m not crafting, you can find my watching/playing sports with my boys, attending Zumba, or reading by fav magazines. http://www.keelyy.blogspot.com

Hello MLS fans! Please join us in welcoming back Linda Kretz and Beckie Dreyer!
Hi! My name is Linda Kretz, and I’m truly excited to be joining the MLS Design Team as a returning member! Crafts of all kinds have been an integral part of my entire adult life; the last 4+ years have awakened a strong passion in me for scrapbooking. I am retired, so my time is now available to devote creative energy and time to enjoy many of life’s pleasures, with scrapping at the top of the list! My two children have presented me with 4 wonderful grandchildren who have enriched my life immeasurably – their young faces and excitement with almost everything around them provides terrific scrapbooking ideas! I have used MLS collections for quite a while – their whimsical, fresh, colorful themes lend themselves to great layouts, projects and cards. I love working with new techniques, experimenting with copic markers, making and using flowers, and working with varieties of color and paper textures. I hope you will enjoy my work as much as I do creating it!
Hi There, my name is Beckie and I am from the UK. As well as creating with fun products I love to take my camera and head out with the family into the hills or down the beach, these are great places to find the lost mojo that has decided to take a wee holiday!
My early memories of crafting were with my gran when I used to go and visit and she would show me all the things she had made. I love to scrapbook and make cards and can often be seen at the school gates glistening with glitter!
I have had work published in the UK and US magazines and also enjoying teaching the joy of scrapbooking!
Basically I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors, living life to the full and scrapping to preserve it!

Hi, I’m Monique Liedtke and I live in The Netherlands with my husband, 3 kids (Manon 15, Timothy 12 and Mats 7) and our Cocker Spaniel, Jippie. I started scrapbooking about 9 years ago and am totally addicted, there’s nothing I’d rather do! I don’t have my own scrap room, but I guess you could say I claimed just about the whole house, LOL! I would love to spend every day scrapping from morning till night, but as that’s not possible I work part-time in a small HR office in town.
My scrap pages are always full of colors and details. My favorite technique is sewing on my projects, both with the sewing machine and by hand. It doesn’t matter if it’s a layout, a card or a mini-album, without sewing, the project doesn’t feel “finished”. My favorite projects are mini-albums, but creating layouts is what I do most. If you want to see more of my projects please visit my blog: www.moniquesscrapbook.blogspot.com.
What I love about this fabulous hobby is the memory I create and I love watching the kids and the grandparents happily browsing through the albums.
I’m thrilled to be on My Little Shoebox’ new design team!! It’s a dream come true!

I have been paper crafting for over 13 years now and I see no end in site.-I'm addicted. The smell of pretty paper makes me very happy. When I'm not getting messy with glue and butter cream I love to play with my kids, go for walks or cuddle up with a good book. I am so excited be be apart of the My Little Shoebox team.

I'm a wife, a mom, a crafter and a writer. My life is full, busy and maybe even a little chaotic -- and I like it that way! Telling stories has always come naturally to me, but when I discovered I could combine that skill with pretty paper and glue, that's when my passion for scrapbooking was born -- and it continues to grow with every new collection and technique I fall in love with. My philosophy is "Keep it fun, and keep it real" because my projects reflect who I am (which is basically girly, colorful and a little bit random at times). Currently, I live in Dallas, Texas, with two sweet girls, a patient husband and some very spoiled dogs. While I love being a city girl, I dream of living in a little cottage on the beach and selling seashells by the seashore. It's good to have dreams, right?

I'm a mom to an 8 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. Therefore my life is usually filled with learning, new discovery, bribery and driving to and from all of our activities. I have a loving and very supportive husband of almost 10 years. When the kids have gone to bed at night, my time is spent crafting while catching up on my favorite shows and movies. I also enjoy reading, window shopping, knitting and perusing blogs for inspirations.
Over a year ago, we moved to Colorado from California and we are enjoying our new environment. I feel very inspired with my new home, my new scrapbook space and the mountain views. I also recently started my own photography business focusing on family and children portraits. My love for scrapbooking have spilled to a new found passion for photography in which I feel will just make my skill in papercrafting even better.
Although I’ve been doing some type of scrapbooking since grade school, I only started to scrapbook seriously after my son was born. When he was born I knew I will be staying at home with him but coming from a fast paced sales job I was afraid I would ran out of things to do during the day. Little did I know that with a newborn you won’t have anytime to do anything else. Anyways after going through a basic scrapbooking class I was hooked and haven’t stopped scrapping since. My style has evolved through the years but there's one thing that never changes- my quest to tell the story. That's always the first thing I think of when I want to make a scrapbook page and/or project. And lately I've been inspired by pattern papers and fun, bright colors.

My name is Megan Aaron. I live outside Philadelphia, PA with my husband, 6-yr-old daughter, Eliana, our dog, Penny, and our lizard, Queen Julia. I work as a software engineer during the day and use pretty much every second of my spare time to scrapbook. When I do get time for other hobbies, I enjoy reading, video games, running, traveling and dining. I have been scrapbooking for about 7 years, although I kept an old-school style scrapbook throughout my whole life. I started scrapbooking after a trip to Europe, when I was home, mostly alone, and pregnant in my apartment while my husband was traveling for work. I had hundreds of photos and tons of stories that I wanted to record. I also needed something to take up my time. HAHA, I never had any idea just how much it was going to do THAT! After that I found the online scrapbooking community and was hooked. I love everything about this art - the people, the inspiration, the creativity, the papers, the embellishments, the changing trends and the new challenge that comes along with each one.

My name is Jenifer Cowles and I live in a little town in Middleton, Idaho. I work in the IT Department for a small city in Idaho by day and Scrap and Sew after the kiddos go to sleep by night. I have 3 cutie pies who give me tons to scrap about, Caleb (12), Madison (10 going on 16) and Hunter (6). I have been doing some sort of crafting my entire life and my day just doesn't feel complete without making something. I love a challenge and can make just about anything. I am so honored to be working with My Little Shoebox and I hope to bring you some inspiration over the next year.

Papers used: Heart on a String, Ocean & Brownie, 3D Roll Up Die cut, Whoopie Pie glitter alphabets, paper doily, Paper brads.
Papers used: Woodgrain Love, Free as a Bird, Heart on a String, Birds Eye View, In the Trees, My Way. I punched out several 3D Roll Up flowers and used them flat. I also added heart stickers to the heart designs on the background paper and added some paper brads. Glitter alphabets are Aqua and Ruby.
Norine's Notes: For this layout, I cut out the center of the diecut circle paper (Fly High) to allow the background paper to show through and match perfectly. I layered 4 mats behind the photos (Woodgrain Love, Free as a Bird, My Way, In the Trees). I added more hanging hearts to the die cut sticker and unified them all with machine sewed lines. All die cut stickers and alphabets come from the cardstock sticker sheet (11881).

Make sure you visit Ilene's blog for more inspiration.
For Ilene's final assignments she created two very cute cards and a really beautiful mini album featuring our Lovely Day collection.
Oh Happy Day!
Supplies:
Paper, stickers: My Little Shoebox (Lovely Day collection)
Stamp: Greeting Farm
Ink: Memento
Markers: Copic
Flowers: Prima Marketing
Design Note: Layering the journaling spots makes it very easy to add interest and a sense of design to your cards. I also love the one-word sentiments that come on the journaling sheet - perfect for cutting out and using as needed!
Hello
Supplies:
Paper, stickers: My Little Shoebox (Lovely Day collection)
Stamp: Gorjuss
Ink: Memento
Markers: Copic
Flowers: Prima Marketing, Martha Stewart Crafts
Design Notes: To make your card really pop, add dimensional adhesive to some of the elements, as I did here to the stamped image and the birdcage sticker. For further emphasis, you can mat some of the lements - the solid color paper that comes with the new MLS collections is perfect for this (I used the dark brown paper here).
Supplies:
Paper, stickers: My Little Shoebox (Lovely Day collection)
Acrylic Mini Album: Bo Bunny
Flowers: Prima Marketing, Martha Stewart Crafts
Circle Punch: Fiskars
Marker: Sharpie
Buttons: Fancy Pants Design, American Crafts
Other: Lace, trim, beads, seam binding, twine
Design Notes: I make a mini album once every year, where I ask my daughter 10 questions about her different likes at that point in her life. It's so fun to be able to document your kids' actual answers. I got this idea from Hilde Janbroers, a totally amazing scrapper (and previous MLS DT member). For the numbers, I used the MLS sticker sheet that coordinates with this collection, and a circle punch to make the circles, which I punched out of the solid yellow paper that also comes with this collection.
Thank you so much Ilene for your beautiful work Ilene. We wish you all the best!
Have a creative day!
