Hi, everyone!! Carol here today. I want to share 4 projects with you using the Keepsake Collection. Keepsake is one of my favourite collection as they are bright and cheery!! I love the frames and flowers!! Love fussy cutting them out and layering them.
"A Little Birdie Once Told Me" card
Supplies: White cardstock (Bazzill); MLS Keepsake: Window View (11832), Simple Treasures (11837), Sound of Music (11840); Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesives); Unity Stamp
I love using white cardstock as the base for my projects as it really brings out the bright and cheery look of My Little Shoebox papers. For my second card, I created a pocket and insert a piece of frame tag inside.
"Life is a Song, Sing It" card
Supplies: White cardstock (Bazzill); MLS Keepsake: Garden Delight (11833), Simple Treasures (11837), Razzleberry & chiffon (11839), Music To My Ears (11835); Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesives); Unity Stamps
Normally I will see what elements are in each collection and will match my theme accordingly. So for Keepsake, I used birds, flowers, frames and music as my themes.
For the next 2 layouts, I made one for my son and one for my daughter.
"Links" Layout
Supplies: White Cardstock (Bazzill); MLS Keepsake: Window View (11835), Picture Perfect (11836), Garden Delight (11833), Simple Treasures(11837), English Rose (11834), Flower Diecut (11831), Cardstock Sticker (11841); Self adhesive pearls (Kaisercraft); Masks (Tattered Angels, Prima); Glimmer Mists (Tattered Angels); Glitter Dome Stickers (Mark Richard's); Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesives)
Being a masking/misting type of scrapper, I misted the background for both layouts. I also enjoyed cutting out the small flowers from the papers and layering and folding them to make them more dimensional. For the title, I popped the alpha stickers with foam strips to make them stand out.
The idea to link up the frames and photos for this layout is taken from the photo of my son playing with his "links". Hence the title too.
" Picnic" Layout
Supplies: White and black Cardstock (Bazzill); MLS Keepsake: Sound of Music (11840), English Rose (11834), Wndow View (11832), Music To My Ears (11835), Garden Delight (11833), Simple Treasures (11837), Flower Diecut (11831); MLS Sprinkle Glaze Alpha Stickers (Whoopie Pies, 08958); Mask (Prima); Glimmer Mists (Tattered Angels); Distress Ink; Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesives)
Yellow mist used for this layout is to depict the color of the sun and I inked the edges of the cloud diecuts with distress ink. I layered the papers and photos with black cardstock.
By mixing the different flower cutouts and layering them, dimension is being created and it made the page looks more interesting.
I hope you will be inspired by my projects. Do come back each day to view our talented design team's projects!! Thanks for viewing!

Hello MLS fans! Linda here with a project and a card with the MLS Keepsake collection. I love anything with birds and flowers, so it was especially fun to create with these papers, stickers and diecuts! First I created a canvas wall hanging.
As you can see, the colors and wonderful and bright in this collection.
Supplies used: Keepsake Garden Delight, English Rose B side, Picture Perfect, and Simple Pleasures. I also used Cardboard Stickers, Walnut glitter letters, and a cloud diecut. I inked all my edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, and added some ribbon from my 'stash'.
Thanks Card
This was a simple card. I used an edge punch on the bottom of the background paper, backed a note card from Simple Treasures with English Rose paper, and fussy cut a trio of flowers to pop dot on top. I added some white seam binding as a bow and added a button and twine from The Twinery. A little lace, some Star Dust stickles, some cardboard sticker letters, and the card was complete!
Please check out our MLS blog every weekday for more inspiration, techniques and fun ideas you can use!

Hey there MLS fans, Are you as excited about the new CHA releases than I am?? I sure hope so as they are looking AMAZING.
This month I worked with the Aiko Collection which is just fabulous I love the colours you can use them soft or vibrant and the designs have such a great versatility.
try using punched borders as layers on your pages to add some texture.
Next up I desgined another layout using the same punched technique but in a slightly different way and using the more vibrant colours from the collection.
Lastly I have a circle card
I really love the cut out tags... I use them alot for my backgrounds :)
Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello, friends! Keely here with today's projects. I love this time of year. Such beautiful weather and so many occasions to take family photos. I love this pic of me and my son taken last weekend. Aiko was the perfect collection to capture this happy day.
I love the cardstock stickers found in each My Little Shoebox collection. I layer and mount them with dimensional adhesive to create fun accent pieces.
The bright colors and fun patterns are great for so many paper projects. Don't limit yourself to using a collection for only one theme. The colors in this collection would be wonderful for layouts about little girls, families, true love, pets, vacation, and so much more.
The sweet girls, floral vines, and lanterns are so beautiful. Enjoy your Summer and create something lovely.

Create and Inspire canvases with the Keepsake Collection
Hi it's Jenifer here with you today to share a couple canvases and a couple cards with you. This month I had so much fun using the Keepsake collection. It was so hard picking out just a few of my favorite pieces so I think I used every single one of them.
First up are the canvases. These canvases measure 6x6 and I just made them out of scraps of wood and some canvas that I had laying around. I then decorated them with papers, ribbons and paints. I had so much fun making these and my Daughter has already claimed them for her room :) They look like mini hanging quilts and I just love them.
Here is a close up of Create.
Here is a close up of Inspire.
Next I have a couple of cards. I made these cards on a long card trip that I took with my family. I figured that since I was going to be stuck in the car for 5 hours I might as well get something done:)
Here is my second card.
Supplies: All paper from the Keepsake collection. Ribbon and Twine from May Arts. Adhesive from Therm O Web.
I hope you have enjoyed my projects today, make sure you come back tomorrow for some more inspiration from the team
Hava a great weekend.

More Up in the Trees Inspiration!
The Up in the Trees collection is just full of possibilities. Earlier I, Megan, created a mini album and double page layout with it, so this month I went in a different direction with an altered item - gift and tag, and two cards!
For this altered item I used a paper mache box that my grandmother gave my daughter for valentines day, filled with candy. I peeled as much of the valentines covering off as possible, to make the lid fit, and then covered it with the Up in the Trees papers and tied a big blue ribbon around the top.
Then I added a custom tag, tied with twine and stamped with a sentiment and some fun popsicles.
For this card, I took advantage of the die cuts, using the clouds and spiral flower. The sentiment and little green square with the tree I cut from the Free as a Bird paper. A little bit of machine stitching gives this card a finished look, but overall, it was very simple, thanks to the die cuts and cut apart sentiment.
This card has a totally different feel. I chose the paler papers to give it a more sophisticated look. Again I used the die cuts for the flowers and the scalloped trim. The extra branch was die cut from the back of the In the Trees paper.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Aiko project share *Grace Tolman*
Hello My Little Shoebox friends, Grace here to share with you the projects I made for MLS this month. Our assignment was pretty easy...make any project with any line we wanted to. Sweet! I haven't shared any from the Aiko collection and so that's what I decided to "play" with and here are the results...
Family Antics layout
-I cut up one of the journaling blocks in half and placed them side by side on my layout. It stretched my area for handwritten journaling.
-I added some liquid pearls on the centers of the die cut and sticker flowers to add more dimension and texture to the flowers.
-I added a strip of the paper to the top of one of my photos to frame it. I didn’t want to trim it anymore bec. The cropping was pretty tights when I took the photo but I still wanted it to have more precedence than the other one.
Supplies Used:
Pattern papers- (Little Princess, 11812; Blue Sky, 11814; One Fine Day, 11816; Happy Notes, 11817; Kiss and Sky, 11819; Flower Die cut, 11811; Cardstock sticker- 11821) Aiko collection; Letter stickers-Ocean (08963) Sprinkle Glaze Alphabet Sticker; border punch- Fiskars; Liquid Pearl- Ranger Industries; Black pen- Creative memories; Corner rounder- Creative Memories; Adhesive- Creative Memories, Glue Arts
Happy Birthday Gift Bag
I altered this bag with the Aiko papers. Since this is not a project that will need to be slipped in a scrapbook, I made sure I added lots of dimension to it. I used some die cut rolled ribbons and layered some elements with foam adhesive.
Supplies Used:
Pattern papers- (One Fine Day, 11816; Festival, 11815; Happy Notes, 11817; Flower Die cut, 11811) Aiko collection; stickers- Cardstock sticker- 11821, Aiko collection; Corner rounder- Creative Memories; Twine- Bubblegum, Twinery; Rhinestone- Doodlebug Design Inc.; Adhesive- Creative Memories, Glue Arts; Paper bag- Hobby Lobby
U & I card
I was inspired to make this “friendship” themed card because of the cute Japanese girl stickers in the Aiko collection. I used a journaling block to house my title and added die cut scallop border accents and flower stickers for more embellishments.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock- WorldWin papers; Pattern papers- (Festival, 11815; Cardstock sticker- 11821; Flower Die cut, 11811; Kiss and Sky, 11819) Aiko collection; Letter stickers- Ocean (08963) Sprinkle Glaze Alphabet Sticker; Liquid pearl- Ranger Industries; Pen- Creative Memories; Adhesive- Creative Memories, Glue Arts
Thank you for stopping by and happy creating!

Now onto my Happy Go Lucky projects...
Thanks card (A2 size 4 x 5 1/2)
Supplies: (Patterned paper) All a Bloom, Our place. (Misc Supplies)Wilton doily (Tools)Martha Stewart butterfly punch, ,(Dies) Spellbinder Pico Edge Circles Die, (Stamps) Inkadinkado sentiment and (Fibers) twine from The Twinery and seam binding white.
Butterfly kisses card (A2 size 4 x 5 1/2)
Supplies: (Patterned Paper) Our Place. All a Bloom and Ride Along. 3D roll up flowers. (Stamps) Unity Stamp Co (Misc) Martha Stewart chunky glitter, felt flowers from Michaels $ bin (Fibers) Papertray ink ribbon
Next are some fun tags I created for various themes which also feature a shabby chic feel.
You're 5!
Designer's Tip: Cut a 1x12 strip of solid cardstock and punch one side with a scallop border punch to create this rosette. Finish with a button and some twine.
Designer's tip: To make these tissue paper flowers use a 1 and 1/4 scallop punch (mine is from Stampin Up!) and punch thru rose colored tissue paper and then repeat with light pink tissue paper. Use a tiny attached to layer and staple your punches and then scrunch them one by one to make these pretty pom pom flowers.
So what are you excited to see at the Summer trade show? Leave a comment and tell me and I'll do my best to Instagram your requests (within reason {wink}) to our Facebook wall all week long!
Have a creative day!

Hi everyone, Pattie here with a couple of fun projects that I created with the super fun Aiko line! I absolutely love the colors and vibrancy of the Aiko papers and couldn't think of a better way to use it than in a festive wreath.
This is a wreath created from circles- yes I only needed a circle punch, a bone folder and adhesive! How cool is that?
Supplies: Aiko: Bouquet, Blue Sky, Cardstock stickers, 3D Roll up Flower Die cuts
I also created this sweet little card with the Aiko collection. I couldn't believe just how easy this paper line lends itself to card making- especially when you use the cardstock stickers. They are awesome!!
Supplies used: Aiko: Blue SKy, One Fine Day, Kiss & Sky Cardstock paper, Cardstock stickers.
Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully this week's posts will inspire you to have a crafty weekend!!

Hi My Little Shoebox fans, it’s Monique today with a few “Up in the Trees” cards for you.
How I loved creating these cards. The Up in the Trees collection is so versatile and so colorful that the possibilities are endless. I made cards for different occasions.
First an “Hello” card:
I love to use the roll-up flowers not “rolled-up”, just stack them on top of each other with some foam adhesive.
For this card I used My Little Shoebox, Up in the Trees: Free as a Bird, Woodgrain Love, My Way, Bird’s Eye View, Ruby, 3D Roll-Up Flowers.
Other: Cardstock (Bazzill Basics), Bird and Bird Cage Dies (Quickutz), Labels (Nestabilities), Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Twine (The Twinery), Stamp (Doodlebug), Ribbon (Prima Marketing), Button (Misc.).
The second card is a “Just Because” card:
How I love to pull out my dies when I’m making cards! And doesn’t the bird look sweet on that bicycle?
Supplies: My Little Shoebox, Up in the Trees: Free as a Bird, My Way, Bird’s Eye View, Ruby, Heart on a String, Brownie. Cardstock bird sticker (My Little Shoebox, Keepsake), Mini Alphabet stickers (My Little Shoebox).
Other: Cardstock (Bazzill Basics), Twine (The Twinery), Bicycle die (Marianne Design), Border punches (Fiskars), Heart Punch (Misc.).
Then my third card, an “I love you” card:
For this card I used the negative space that was left when I had punched some hearts for the “just beacause” card I showed you above.
Supplies: My Little Shoebox, Up in the Trees: Free as a Bird, Woodgrain, Ruby, Mini Alphabet Stickers, Sprinkle Glaze Alphabet Stickers.
Other: Cardstock (Bazzill Basics), Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug),Twine (The Twinery), Pen (Zig writer), Heart and Heart punch (Misc.).
For my fourth card I chose to create an “Hurray” card:
For this card I used again the roll-up flowers NOT rolled-up. Love the result!
Supplies: My Little Shoebox, Up in the Trees: Free as a Bird, Brownie, Ocean, 3D Roll-Up Flowers, Mini Alphabet Stickers.
Other: Cardstock (Bazzill Basics), Ink (ColorBox), Border Punch (Martha Stewart), Doily & Bead (Misc.).
And last but not least, my fifth card is a “Sweet” card:
For this card I layered 6 different kinds of paper of which the white cardstock is embossed. And in this case I did roll-up the roll-up flower! The centre of the flower is a bead from my stash.
Supplies: My Little Shoebox, Up in the Trees: Free as a Bird, Ruby, Oregano, Heart on a String, 3D Roll-Up Flowers.
Other: Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Punch (Martha Stewart), Pen (Zig), Bead (Misc.).
I truly loved every minute I was busy creating these cards, as this collection is so fun! The patterns, the colors, the birds … I love them all! Hope you do too!
Don’t forget to share your cards (or any other project of course) on our Facebook Page. We love to see them!
Thanks for stopping by My Little Shoebox blog today.
I hope you have a great day!
Monique

Hello, Liz here today and I am going to share with you a few projects I made using the adorable Lovely Day collection.
First off, I have a layout to share of my youngest son. You can tell by the look on his face that he's trouble with a capital T. ;)
The cloud paper worked great for my photos of my son near the lake,
Supplies used: Lovely Day Seeds Of Happiness, Let the Sunshine, Easy Breezy, Chocolate and Chiffon, Raspberry and Aqua, New Story, Cardstock Sticker sheet, Glitter Alphabet Stickers (Lake), Mini Alphabet stickers (Fog).
Below is the card I created using a few stickers from the Lovely Day sticker sheet asthemain focus.
Supplies Used: Lovely Day Cardstock Sticker sheet, Easy Breezy, Let the Sunshine, Sweet Memory.
And finally I found a simple paper ma she box at my local thrift store.
I covered it with Lovely Day papers and roll-up flowers. Inside I cut scraps into strips and crumpled them up a bit. This would be a nice treat holder for someone special.
Supplies Used: Lovely Day Seeds Of Happiness, Let the Sunshine, New Story, 3D Roll-Up Flower Sheet. That's all for today. Have a Lovely Day!! ;)

Good morning everyone! It's time for another Tuesday Tutorial with the MLS design team. In case you missed our last tutorial here is the link. Every other Tuesday each month we feature a fun tutorial that you can recreate with your My Little Shoebox stash. Today's tutorial is featuring designer team member Beckie Dreyer...
Hello MLS fans! Today I would like to share how I made this card by repurposing our Cardstock Sticker sheets.
I used the negative circles from the leftover Aiko Cardstock Sticker sheet as my template.
First create a mask by cutting the 'waste' of the small round alphabet down to desired size. Peel off the backing and press on to your jumper. This makes the back less sticky which means you can easily remove it from the card. Place it on the card blank.
Spritz over the card blank with a selection of mists
Remove the 'mask' to reveal the bubble wrap effect.
Finish by adding some of the 3D rolled flowers, a ribbon and greeting.
Once you have finished with the 'mask' you could create a little decoration by wrapping it into a cylinder around a battery powered candle and decorate with some of the card stock stickers.
Have fun creating!
Beckie :)

Cards for All Occasions with Lovely Day
Happy summer, everyone! It's Robyn with you today to share my latest My Little Shoebox projects.
This month, my assignment was to create cards using the Lovely Day collection. It's a really versatile collection, so it was easy to create a variety of cards that use some of the same elements, but look and feel quite different.
First off, I created this "thank you" card using a simple square design, with some layered pennant pieces, a journaling spot and some stickers.
Quick tip: I like to use foam tape to raise certain elements of my cards just a bit. You'll see another example of that on this next card...
After I had arranged my patterned paper sections, I cut a piece of the border sticker and used foam tape to create the raised border across the card.
For this next card, I was inspired by the bright colors and graphic patterns in the collection to build a patchwork background.
This is a great design to help use up scraps of your favorite papers. I simply added a journaling spot with sentiment and a few flower stickers along the bottom. Then I topped it with some layered die-cut flowers.
I'm always in need of a fun way to present a gift card. The scalloped die-cut paper made the perfect base for this card. I simply trimmed off the sides to create a rectangle shape that I could score and fold, and I added some roll-up flowers for a finishing touch. A strand of crinkled seam binding secures it all together.
On the inside, I left plenty of space to attach the gift card and write a special note.
Finally, I decided to make a simple gift enclosure card -- 3" x 3" -- that I can either add to a gift bag or slip into a box.
Again, I used foam tape behind the sticker to add some dimension. I love the birdcages in this collection, so I went with the simple (and somewhat corny) sentiment of "Tweet!"
But what do you expect from a girl named after a bird?
Thanks for popping by!
