Coming Home Projects with Robyn
Hi MLS fans! It's Robyn with you today to share the projects I've created with the Coming Home collection. I had tons of fun playing with the beautiful mix of pastels and bright pops of color.
I did something that's rare for me: a photo without a person in it! This is a photo I took of our house right after we moved in last September, and the Coming Home collection was perfect for it in every way.
I used the house stickers to create a border along the bottom of the layout. These houses remind me of the ones in our neighborhood -- they each have their own personality.
Banners always say "welcome" to me, so I thought it was appropriate to add one to this design.
I added a kraft doily from Maya Road and a heart shaped button to convey feelings of a happy home.
The next layout captures the playfulness of the Coming Home collection with the paper airplanes and clouds. I added a frame of red stitching , and it really helped balance the smaller photo.
Okay, so my stitching isn't perfectly even. It's actually pretty amazing that I got it straight at all! It adds to the handmade feel.
I added colorful buttons to the centers of some of the die-cuts and stickers for an extra pop of color.
I went for more subtle colors in this next layout. I added a filter to my photo to soften the harsh sunlight and it worked nicely with the more subdued colors in this collection.
The little tree stickers were a fun way to extend the bottom border.
And finally, a fun little card that would be great for a birthday or housewarming. And another banner...this time, I added a button between each pennant to connect them.
Thanks for letting me share my projects with you. Happy creating!

Exploring the Queen Mary
I used some ink to add a little texture to my layout. I love the cardstock stickers in this collection.
Supplies: Patterned paper with Love and Truly yours. Notebook cardstock stickers.
Big fun
I love using punches and twine on my layouts. They add a bit of texture.

I used another one of these fun cardstock stickers to make a sweet card.
A little Something
For this card I went with an elegant feel. I used the back of the With Love paper for the base of my card.

Tuesday Tutorial:Use your Scraps
Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share the Tuesday Tutorial. My Technique is to use Quilts and your beautiful My Little Shoebox scraps and create a layout. I used this quilt as my inspiration.
I keep all of my My Little Shoebox papers and scraps in their own little area; they are just too precious to part with.
step 1-Go through all of your scraps and cut out a leaf shape with a bunch of different designs on them.
step 2- Lay them out in a different ways on the page until you create your desired look, mine ended up being flowers. Nice and easy.
Here is a close up of one of the flowers. I ended up putting the center on a foam dot on top of some thread to help give it some texture. I also sent around all of the petals with a fine point pen to make it look like I had sewn them on.
I hope you have enjoyed my technique today and I hope it has inspired you to pull out and use up some of those precious scraps of paper. I would love to see what you come up with, leave a link with your creation and I will check it out.
Until next time,
Jenifer

Coming Home cards and a Layout
Hi Jenifer here with you today to share some projects made with the Coming Home collection. I know I say this with every collection but I absolutely loved this line. First up I have a card using some of the little flags that are mixed in with the flowers and then I just used some scrap pieces to fill in the gaps. This is a super easy card that makes a big impression.
For the second card I used the House Stickers as my main focus. How cute would this card be with some fresh cookies for a new neighbor moving in.
Last but not least I have a fun layout. I took this picture in Wyoming just before driving into Yellowstone. I love how the clouds on the paper go with the clouds in the picture. I added a cute border under the picture using 2 different border punches and then a piece of My Little Shoebox ribbon on the top, add a quick, fun flower and you are done.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my projects today, make sure you come back tomorrow for some fun CHA sneaks.

Making Notes with Cherry Delight
Good Morning MLS fans,
Today I am here to share with you a couple of projects I have made with the gorgeous Cherry Delight.
First up is a layout for a fancy new hairdo
I used the cherry blossoms from the cardstock sticker sheet as a border along the bottom of the photos. I raised up some of the blossoms with foam pads to add a bit of texture. The scallop circle is a perfect size for a small piece of journaling.
My next project was to get creative with a TUTU mixed media mini album from Punky Sprouts. This is such a fab wee album which I decided to turn into a notebook for all my creative ideas.
I made each of these pages into little pockets so I had a place to store any tickets or loose bits of papers which I scribble down inspiration on.
On the front of the book I used the Punky Sprouts Lil' Blossoms Lacy doilys as a stencil and I painted it with some gold paint. When it had dried I used the doily on another part of the album.
Products Used :
MLS : Cherry Delight Charming, Serenade, Bliss, Happy Times, 3D Roll Up Flowers and Accents, Cardstock Stickers, Muse Alphabet Sticker - Firecracker, Mini Alphabet Sticker -Kiss
Punky Sprouts : Tutu Album, Lil' Blossoms Lacy
I am looking forward to filling this up now!
Thanks for stopping by
Beckie :)

Hello MLS fans. Today I want to share some projects using Secret Garden collection. Flowers and butterflies are 2 of my favourites. So I really enjoy working with this collection.
"Secret Garden" Card
Supplies: White Cardstock (Bazzill); MLS (Dorothy, Sweetie, La Petite and Cardstock Sticker); Swarovski Crystals; Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesives); Spellbinders Die
I cut a "window" with Spellbinders die and create a frame with MLS paper. I cut the flowers and layered and folded them to create a dimensional look. I added butterflies and also glossy accents to the flower centres.
Here's the closeup of the flowers.
"Love Comes Knocking" Card
Supplies: White Cardstock (Bazzill); MLS (Dorothy, Bonbons, La Petite, Mini Alpha Stickers Chocolate Cake, 3D Roll Up Flower and Accents, Cardstock Sticker, Keepsake Cardstock Sticker); Chipboard Door (Dusty Attic); Doily Die (Cheerylynn); Pins, ribbon flowers, tag (Maya Road); Folkart Extreme Glitter Paint; Corrugated Board; Swarovski Crsytals; Foam Strip (Scrapbook Adhesives)
For this card, I used Dusty Attic chipboard door as the main focus and added MLS papers and stickers. I painted the chipboard door with Folkart Extreme Glitter paint and layered the diecut doily and Maya Road tag. Then I cut out the words, LOVE from MLS paper and adhered to top of tag. I wanted to create a look of wreath handing on the door.
For the inside of the card, I mat the paper with corrugated board and added the journalling tag in the center for space for greetings.
"LOVE" Punky Sprouts Album
Supplies: Punky Sprout Tutu Punk Album; Punky Sprouts Lil' Blossoms Lacy and Parchment; MLS (Dorothy, Sweetie, La Petite, Muse Cardstock Alpha Sticker Strawberry Frosting, 3D Roll Up Flower and Accents, Cardstock Sticker, Mini Alpha Stickers Chocolate Cake, Trim Pack Lullaby); MLS Sew Cute (Handmade, Made With Love, Sew Crafty); Chipboard shapes (Dusty Attic); Gauze; Swarovski Crystals; Pearls, Glitter Domes, Beads; Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists; Claudine Hellmuth Multi Medium and Gesso; Distress Inks, Liquid Pearls; Prima Flowers and Stamp; Fabric Leaves, Pins, Kraft Banners (Maya Road); Twines; Unity/MLS Stamps; Folkart and Golden Acrylic Paints; Stazon Ink; Faber Castell Big Brush Pens and Pitt Artist Pens; Silhouette Cameo; Canvas Tag, Manila Tags; Tattered Angel Stencil; Glossy Accents; Rub-ons; Circle Punches
For the last project, I used Punky Sprouts album, Tutu Punk Album. This album is dedicated to my favourite icons, images that I love and used often. I used quite a lot of mixed media mediums and techniques for this album. Here you can also see my favourite color combinations!! Love this album!!
This is a list of my favourite icons/images.
This page is dedicated to butterflies. I used the doily from Punky Sprouts to fold into half and twist tie it into a butterfly and I added MLS butterfly sticker as the 2nd layer. Here you can see that I added beads to the plain fabric leaves (Maya Road).
Christmas trees are also a favourite. I love trees and I love Christmas. I folded the cupcake liners from Punky Sprouts and painted them green, add a pin at the top and some pearls on the trees. I combined both Maya Road and MLS banners at the top.
Aren't Russian Dolls cute!!! The ones at the right are digital designs and the one at the left is drawn and painted with acrylic paints.
Dressforms and sewing theme are my all time favourites!!! I used MLS Sew Cute collection for these pages.
She Art Dolls seems like the "must-have" mixed media icon!! Both stamps are from Unity Stamp Co. I stamped twice on 2 different MLS papers for one doll. The patterns on MLS papers gave a pretty touch to the dress.
Poppies!! I used Unity/Donna Downey stamps for the open poppies. The rest are made by painting over the cupcake liners from Punky Sprouts. I added black beads as the poppies centres. This is my most favourite page as it speaks personally to me. Each stem represent something about my life and what I want to achieve and do.
The last pages on owls are done by layering circles and sketching them into owls. I drawn and painted the brunches too. Meant to do more journalling on this page but decided to just leave it plain.
I hope you enjoy my projects. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello My Little Shoebox Fans!
Hi everyone! Here is Ro to share with you some Project I did using the amazing Coming Home collection.
The first one is a very special Layout for me and my family!
The inspiration for this layout is actually a tribute to my brother and sister-in-law, who are building a new home, and soon they will be living in their new dream home!
I'm very happy for them, the realization of this dream, so I wanted to put them into this magical and enchanted small house, full of color and joy, wishing the two, along with the little daughter they love, will be very happy in their new home.
And here I have the second Layout, soooo girly for my little sweet niece!
Isn't she cute?
And the last one is a "Welcome Home" Card.
I hope you enjoy my Projects, and I hope I have brought a bit of color and inspiration to your day!
Thanks for stopping by.

This month I finally got to work with the Oh Deer! line! I admit, though, that I had dipped into it a little bit prior to this because I just couldn't wait. I just love the warm colors and cute images of this line.
I decided to make some masculine projects, or at least more masculine than I normally go. This first one is of my daughter and her grandfather fishing together. I mostly kept this layout simple, with the lined paper and the honey comb, but the mushroom and acorn stickers keep it fun!
This next one is my dog, when she was a puppy, and today at age 10. I just love how the browns and oranges ground this layout and make it work so nicely with her coloring.
I adore these little mushrooms, so I made them the star of this card by popping a few up on foam tape.
Finally, the stickers and die cut made this card come together super quickly!
Supplies
Oh Deer! patterned papers, cardstock stickers and die cuts
Mini alpha stickers
Muse Alphabet stickers

Thank you to Punky Sprouts for the awesome swap!
Hope you were inspired to pick up some paper and create something fun for yourself as well. Thanks for stopping by!!

An "Oh, Deer!" Punky Sprouts mini album!
Hello My Little Shoebox Friends!
During the hectic month of December I had so much fun "unwinding" with this fun mini album from Punky Sprouts and MLS' Oh, Deer! collection! I find nothing more relaxing than creating a mini album.... every day I do just one page, no hurry, just having fun with this awesome collection!
I made this album about a day out with my friends. Let me show you:
And the inside pages:
And this is the Punky Sprouts album I used: "Soul Sprout"
I really loved this album; no two pages are the same even the texture of a lot of pages is different! And although the Oh, Deer! collection is all about nature and woods and little animals living in those woods it worked perfectly with my city-photos!

That's it for today! Thank you so much for visiting MLS' blog and hope you enjoyed my album.

Hello MLS fans. Linda here with projects created with ' Coming Home' from My Little Shoebox - a wonderful collection of luscious colors for any season of the year! This is also the month we are sharing our creations using albums and embellies from Punky Sprouts. Their albums are fun and so versatile to use!
Snowscape
The first project I want to share is one of the Punky Sprouts albums that I used to create a winter wall hanging.
I first glued the two pieces of this album together and painted the front white to create the backdrop for my winter scene. I cut out a shallow shadow box, used papers and stickers from the collection, a bicycle stamp from an earlier collection, and designed a fence from Starbuck stirrers. A piece of acrylic creates the 'window'. I used Flower Soft to create the look of snow. I framed the shadow box with lace and Coming Home papers, and used a Punky Sprouts doily and some parchment pieces, along with some seam binding to finish the project.
Supplies: Coming Home papers: Park Avenue and Urban Green; Cardboard Stickers; 3D Roll-Up Accents, Vintage Photo Distress and Victorian Velvet Distress Ink; seam binding, lace, MLS Strawberry Frosting Alphabet Stickers; Clear acrylic
I would also like to share with you two cards I created using the Coming Home collection.
I love pink and brown together, so I used both to create this lacy 'For You' card. Round cards are fun to do and are fairly easy. With this card I embossed the pink plaid paper from the collection and mounted it on the brown card. I added some lace and brown seam binding, together with a doily (foam dotted for dimension), and made a flower from the pink plaid lace from the Lullaby Trim Pack. I added a Prima jewel spray to the top to add some sparkle to the card.
Supplies: Brown card stock; MLS Park Avenue paper, Lullaby Trim Pack, white doily, Prima jewel spray, pink pearl brad, and Chocolate Cake mini alphabet stickers.
My second card was just plain fun to do.
I embossed two strips from the MLS/Unity co-branded stamp of trees with white opaque embossing powder, then added some banners across the center of the card for color. I inked and foam dotted some trees from the MLS cardboard Sticker set, then added some twine and some mini letters.
Supplies: MLS Coming Home papers: Soaring Above and Park Avenue; Cardboard Stickers, MLS/Unity co-branded stamp, Kiss Mini Alphabet Letters, and Twine from the Twinery.
I loved the opportunity to combine the breezy colors from the MLS Coming Home collection, and want to thank Punky Sprouts for creating such wonderful albums. Having choices like these makes scrapbooking fun and totally satisfying! I hope you enjoyed my projects, and wish each of you "happy scrapping"! Thanks for stopping by!
