Get the Look! {And an announcement!}
Our "Get the Look" week is coming to a close, but don't worry, we've got two more stellar projects to share (and a fun little announcement at the end of this post!)
Designer Jaime Warren's layouts are so unique and whimsical...wouldn't it be fun to use her layouts as inspiration in your next project?
We especially love the way Jaime used the Cards Overlay to create such fun and interesting elements on her layout! She also cut the "LOVE" image from the overlay and the patterned paper to create her own sweet embellishments. Genius!
So what do you need to recreate this layout for yourself?
If that's not enough, Jaime has created another adorable layout, this one is bold and fresh, and we think you'll have TONS of fun letting it inspire you!
You can grab what you need to make this same layout with this simple shopping list below:
Now, about that other exciting news...we can hardly believe it, but today is the first day of February, which means...
Don't forget to tune in Monday at noon EST as our 72-hour Sprinkles sale begins!

It's the sweet little details that make this layout so special.
And for all you cardmakers looking for a little inspiration, you're in luck! Take a look at these two gorgeous cards from Designer Gabrielle Pollacco:
Both cards use our new Modern Romance collection and both would make just about anyone's day.

This week, we're going to tell you exactly what our designers used to create their stunning layouts and cards. Today, we get to feast our eyes on this beauty from designer Nina Ostermann:
Nina's style is wonderfully Clean and Simple and we are always in love with her perfect use of white space. Notice how she used our brand new Sweet Notes Washi Tape to create a border at the bottom of her page. We love this washi tape for its vibrant colors and sweet patterns:

We're always looking for unique ways to make our artwork sing. That's why our embellishments are so perfect for every project...because they have such a one-of-a-kind quality about them.
Take our brand new Charms, for example. Vintage-inspired and wonderfully beautiful, these charms make a lovely addition to any layout or card. Take a look at how Gabrielle Pollacco made good use of the newest charms in our catalog:
The winged key charm is just one of our new shared embellishments, any of which would add just the right detail to make your layout simply charming.
To make the charm really stand out on her layout, Gabi decided to attach it to the layout in a clever and visually interesting way. (And we love the addition of gems at the center of the key!)
In fact, all of Gabi's embellishments add visual interest, including the layers you see on the side of her adorable photo:
So much texture and dimension creates a layout you want to reach out and touch...and these new charms are just one way to get that look.
Be sure to head over to our website to see our assortment of new Shared Embellishments, all on sale now and shipping in February!

Use What You've Got {Found Objects}
Sometimes creativity is sitting right next to you and you don't even realize it. Found objects have long been a favorite in the scrapbooking world, and in our opinion, they still are! Can you think of anything more cost effective than using what you've already got on hand to create layouts?
We challenged three of our designers to incorporate found objects into their layouts, and they delivered...with gusto! First, take a look at the way Stacey Michaud worked office supplies onto this page:
Stacey says: "I'm a big fan of using office supplies like paper clips and staples. This challenge really made me look at my household junk with a new eye. I found that metal bracket and thought it would look cool with ribbon! The large numerals are from a set of mailbox number stickers. I was cleaning out my kids' drawers and found that cute little tag that totally went with my theme!"
Stacey arranged each of these fun little items onto her layout for the perfect "POP" of something special! You'd never known those pieces came from the junk drawer!
Designer Jaime Warren got a little bit artsy on this layout, using the bubble wrap on the inside of a mailing envelope as a stamp.
Jaime says: "I used it to stamp on my layout with some Shimmerz paints. I just painted it on using a paper towel and then gently pressed the wrap on the background paper.
Here, you can see how easy it is to use bubble wrap to add texture to your layout! First, dab on the paint:
Then stamp as much (or as little) as you want! Easy as pie!
And, if you're a parent, you probably have kid art and love notes floating all over the house. Gather them up and tuck them into one of our mini bags like Diana Brodeur did on this layout:
Notes like this, in their tiny little-kid handwriting become priceless keepsakes the older they get. While you may not be able to keep every note they write, you can choose the most precious and get them scrapped.
Each of these layouts made brilliant use of our new Sweet Notes Collection. Did you know it's already on sale over at the Webster's Pages Website? Sweet Notes starts shipping in February, so place your order today!!

How To Get that Classic Webster's Style
Oh, that classic Webster's Style. Elegant. Timeless. Beautiful.
But HOW do you achieve that on your layouts? Thankfully, we have Designer Iris Babao Uy to share tips on that very topic...Step-by-Step, she'll share how to capture the Webster's style using this gorgeous layout as her example:
Take it away, Iris!
Webster’s Pages papers are filled with beautiful patterns. To be able to layer patterns and embellishments without overpowering the photos, I like to start with a white cardstock. What I did here was to first mist the paper with yellow and green tones. Once dry, I then laid down a brick stencil and applied a mixture of gesso and glass bead gels over it. Lift immediately and let dry.
In between waiting for mists and mediums to dry, I took out a few patterned papers and hand cut flowers and other elements that I can use to build my design.
As you can see here, I added a few more tones of blue inks and then proceeded to layer over embellishments and cut out patterns.
Finally, add the resin heart and some trims, the perfect finishing touches to pull it all together!

A Parade of Inspiration {Composition & Color}
The first collection we revealed way back before Christmas is still cause for celebration... Composition & Color is an absolute stunner...and our designers are beyond inspired working with it!
Look at this adorable travel layout from Designer Larissa Albernaz:
We are always swooning over Larissa's layered, yet clean, style. It's whimsical and spot-on every single time! Look at all the little details she's squeeze onto this page...and yet, nothing about the design overwhelms the photos. Perfection! We especially love the way Larissa cut the airplane from the transparency here:
Diana Brodeur shows off her signature Clean & Simple style with this beauty:
What better way to showcase the various patterns of Composition & Color than to layer them behind this cut-out detail?
Jill Cornell took a vibrant approach with Composition & Color, and we can hardly stop admiring this page!
We love the use of natural elements and the way Jill used the photo mat anchored by the tied piece of trim. Gorgeous!
These trims are so fun and so unique, we just can't get enough of them.
Look at this layout from Designer Jamie Harder. The trim border is such a sweet element on this wonderfully clean layout, which shows off the woodgrain paper we've fallen in love with:
Composition & Color is on sale now at the Webster's Pages website! The collection starts shipping in February...why not be among the first to welcome it into your home?

Well, we're back...and CHA was a TON of fun! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth to see our new collections. We always love connecting face to face. Here's a little peek into our booth!
Especially exciting at this show was the addition of Allison Kreft Designs. Here are Brandin and Allison in our beautiful booth:
Adding Allison's brand to the Webster's Pages family has been an exciting adventure...and we're just getting started! Here's Allison showing off her new lines!
Allison added a few Make 'n Takes to our booth, which are always a ton of fun!
We showed product, too orders and chatted it up with old and new friends alike...the best part of any trade show!
In addition to cutting her own new bangs in the hotel the night before, Brandin stayed super busy keeping the booth full of her signature elegance and charm...
And there were so many little Webster's tidbits to fall in love with.
One of the highlights of the show was meeting Design Team Member, Emeline Seet who made it to the States all the way from Singapore! Emeline has long been a valued member of our team, so meeting her in person was a dream come true!
There were tons of smiling faces!
And lots of exciting buzz about our new lines. Overall, we had a BLAST showing off our four brand new collections, and we hope you'll keep your eyes open for Modern Romance, New Beginnings, Composition & Color and Sweet Notes to hit the stores in February!

{New Beginnings} Parade of Inspiration
It's hard to think about springtime in the midst of winter, but it sure is nice to daydream a little...and New Beginnings is just the collection to get you in the springtime mood. Imaging everything is new and fresh and full of possibility...from Easter to new babies to the end of winter...this collection is as versatile as it is beautiful.
Here's Brandin to tell you a little bit about it herself:
And we're thrilled to share a bit of inspiration with you today. First, look at this work of art from Designer Gerry van Gent:
Gerry's work is always so stunning, and this page is no exception. We love the way she worked in so many details, hand-cutting and layering around the various new embellishments.
Designer Larissa Albernaz also created quite the work of art:
Larissa's Classic style means lots of layering, fussy cutting and tons of attention to detail...and this is the perfect line to showcase her talents! There is so much texture to love.
We are perfectly smitten with the new trims in this line and love the way Larissa used them to accent various parts of her layout.
Designer Gabrielle Pollacco takes a more shabby chic approach with her layout, adding so much richness on each inch of the page.
We just love the textured circle that serves as a photo mat here, and the way Gabi has accented it with a hand-cut butterfly, flowers and one of our brand new Charms.
Designer Jaz Lee pulled a completely different color palette from this line,
Jaz created such a beautiful, Classic layout, mixing in hand-cut paper pieces and dimensional embellishments like the new Live, Love Laugh Cameo. We are completely in love with this page!
Designer Jill Cornell took a cleaner, simpler approach with her New Beginnings layout. This page is so happy and fun...and of course, it makes us wish for warm, sunny days and barefoot egg hunts!
We love Jill's trademark stitching over her letters, and the way she used our new Washi Tape to add just a touch of something great.
New Beginnings begins shipping in February...are your fingers itching yet?!!

{Sweet Notes} Parade of Inspiration
Our excitement and love for our new collections seems to grow every single day, and we think it has something to do with the addition of Allison Kreft Designs.
Allison's two new collections are the perfect mix of trendy, unique and inspiring...today, we get to share some inspiration using her brand new Sweet Notes Collection.
First, Nina Ostermann:
We absolutely LOVE the way Nina worked the new Mini Bag onto her layout, making it a nice addition to her photo mat, and all the little details, are, of course, spot on!
Designer Kay Rogers chose to use the same mini bag on her layout, filling it with a big of journaling and dolling it up a little with two stitched hearts:
The grid-like look of this layout makes it crisp and clean, and it allow the patterns to perfectly complement her photo.
Aren't the colors in the Sweet Notes Collection so happy? Perfect for scrapbooking both girls and, as Stacey Michaud has done here, little boys:
Happy photos make the patterns in this line even happier!
Designer Jamie Harder chose a neutral palette for her layout, which works so well with Sweet Notes as there are lots of great neutral patterns in the line. This allows the colors to pop even more and works really well with a black and white photo:
Jamie's details are sweet and simple, just like her layout.
There's just something so sweet about Sweet Notes...we can hardly wait another second to get this line out the door!
So, what's your favorite thing about this new collection? We'd love to hear your thoughts!

A Parade of Inspiration {With Modern Romance}
We are absolutely loving the response to our new collections. With such a wide range of beautiful products and styles, more than ever we have something for everyone!!
Today, we journey into the world of Modern Romance, a classic Webster's collection with so very much to offer, no matter what your style!
First, let's look at some classic Webster's elegance starting with Designer Iris Babao Uy:
We especially LOVE the way Iris used our new Resin Frames to outline the adorable Nesting Bird, topping off the look with these Quick Pick Butterfly Pins (did we mention these are only $1?!)
We also spot one of our new little charms in this cluster of goodies...it couldn't be more perfect!
Designer Larissa Albernaz also has a classic Webster's style, and her take on Modern Romance is elegant, layered and beautiful:
Larissa also used the new Resin Frame, and notice her double use of the brand new Ruffled Bloomers. Mixed in with hand-cut accents and other bits of trim, Larissa has created the perfect look on this layout.
Design Tomoko Takahashi mixed up her Modern Romance just a bit with these beautiful mixed media pieces, showing off her adorable daughter.
Notice the large key charm anchoring her design elements on this piece:
It's just one of the many new charms we've added to our line...and we are perfectly smitten with them all!
Modern Romance is a classic collection with the Classic elegance you may have come to expect from Webster's Pages, but this line is also wonderful for the Clean and Simple scrapper.
Like Stacey Michaud:
Stacey is always finding the sweetest ways to incorporate lots of patterns without overwhelming the layout, and this design is no exception.
The basket woven patterns creates so much visual interest, giving the page pops of color and drawing the eye right to the photo.
Designer Diana Brodeur also shows off her take on Modern Romance with her white-space-loving clean & simple design:
Diana's page is still elegant, but her style is all crisp and clean!
So what's YOUR style...and what will you create with Modern Romance?!
We can't wait until February, when Modern Romance will begin shipping and we can see all the creativity it inspires in YOUR art!

The celebration countdown to CHA continues with a little reminder of another new collection, Modern Romance.
This beauty is classicly elegant with so much to love, but don't take our word for it. Erin Blegen's newest creation is proof:
And boy, did Erin take advantage of those fussy cutting opportunities. We just LOVE the way she's worked her usual magic on this layout.
We LOVE how Erin incorporated our NEW Resin Frames, which will work with any of our new collections.
It looks so perfect with the bow on top and the letters in the open space.
