Runway Report with Lisa Truesdell

Hi Peas! I'm home from CHA and wanted to follow up with some things that caught my eye at the show. As a mama of three boys, I was so happy to find good boy lines almost everywhere I went. My very favorite was Toy Box from Crate Paper.  I can't wait to buy every single bit of this collection!

This may be the most perfect boy line ever.  It'll fit pages for my 3 year old - but is cool & edgy enough to fit my almost 10 year old, too. But my veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery favorite part?

It's the sticker that says "Sam's Toy Store" - that little boy looks like MY Sam! The rest of the stickers rock, too. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on them!!

Here's some more favorites :

Smash : Cool journals, clips and washi tape. This line will work w/ just about anything, and I know i'll be using it a lot.

Life of the Party - Basic Grey : Woodgrain. Love the colors. BG always has some of my fave embellishments, and that goes for this line, too!

Countryside & State Fair - Studio Calico  : I love the letterpressed look that some of the papers have and the veneer buttons are the perfect accent for boy pages. I'm a tag addict, so I love that they've added them to their lines.

Hometown Summer - Collage Press Studio  / Pink Paislee (pictured) : Cute vintage summer theme and awesome saturated brights - I think this line will mix with just about anything.

Campy Trails - American Crafts : I wasn't sure about this line when I saw it online, but in person? It moved right up to the "gotta have it!" list. Lots of woodgrain and cool motifs - I don't camp, but that won't stop me from scrapping with it!

Rocket Age - October Afternoon : Once again, OA rocks the modern vintage look.

I can't say how thrilled I am to find SO many awesome boy lines - and I'm sure you'll be seeing most of these collections on my upcoming projects for the garden.
